A simply captivating read, a relationship initially started after a mating of hell and similar marriage
Fiona Swale has been caught after she killed a man whilst she was in her female wolf form and as this is breaking every shifter law it is essential that she be stopped so that the shifter world is not made common knowledge to humans that could use it against shifters.
Fiona had been married at 18 years ols and she had been forced into a marriage with Christian Swale who had only been interested in her for her family’s money, as soon as he had mated her once so that she had shifted, he had never ever touched her again and then he had been killed and since then she has been held as a prisoner in her dead husband’s pack.
He had known her brother and they had been young shifters getting up to all kinds of mischief and he had recalled his sister a few years younger being around them and now it seemed that she has been living through a self-inflicted hell, avoiding her heat and also the men that are part of Christians circle and she has not stopped really running since then.
Henry had known that she was his and he recognises that she is his mate and in all honesty, Fiona had been her brothers very best friend but she had not thought of him for some time and since her family had gone through hell and she had suffered an unwanted marriage and mating, she had recalled him and remembered him and the feelings she had for him.
This is a wonderful story and you cannot help but appreciate the story and the feelings that Henry has for Fiona and it seems that he is now an Alpha and he wants nothing more than to keep her as his, she is ready for a struggle of wills, killing men that deserved it and now he is here and he is saying that he cares for her.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Fiona is running amuck. Her husband died not too long ago and she is having a bit of “sport” with the male population. But shifters aren’t supposed to shift in the city. Henry and his pack have seen a she-wolf and need to grab her. When Henry gets her scent, he knows she is his mate and an old friend’s sister. He needs to stop her first. When he catches her, he knows he can’t resist and mates her. But things aren’t going to be easy for these two. Fi is spoiled and reckless. Her brother Rick was once friend’s with Henry till a falling out. Henry now has to get his mate and make Rick face the fact that his pack is tainted. He has been lies to. I have to say, Rick is a jerk. What brother doesn’t look out for his sister. He really doesn’t show much love for her and he isn’t willing to listen to reason. I really wanted Henry to beat the crap out of him. Fi is a fighter and they play dirty with her. Fi does have a hard time believing that someone could love and trust her. It is a rough road for her and Henry. But she finally gets it and even embraces the little things.

I loved the story. It has a great storyline, well written and captured my attention from the very beginning. I love Fiona even if she is a little over the top but she means well. To me, Henry is the ultimate Alpha. He takes things in stride, even Fiona who could test his limits. There is danger and some unexpected surprises that added to the story. Secondary characters added to the story and I especially loved Tinker and Hades. I love the paranormal and this is an excellent story that is worth reading.

This book is not an easy read. It seems to run on in spots and relies on the description of the sex scenes to carry through on the dominant/submissive erotica theme. Not great. Tried to finish it , but finally just gave up after reading only chapter one.
