This series gripped me from the first and I couldn't put the book down. I read the whole series in a 4 day span. I love it when authors actually bring a person into the story as if they are at a movie watching it unfold on a big screen. I don't want to give any spoilers for anyone. I will say that this is a good clean YA novel. I recommend this series to young and old. I'm in my 60's and was finding myself talking aloud to the characters as if they could hear me, shouting out words of advice or warning, or screaming for another character to come to the rescue :). I can't wait to share it with my 14 year old granddaughter and her mom so it is for all generations. This book is clean no sex that you usually find in the Vampire genre. I seemed to travel through the pages of my kindle at lightening speed and going with out sleep for several nights until I didn't have any more pages to flip through. It's one of those series that leave you wishing there was more to read but also fills you with satisfaction after reading the last paragraph.

I've also found me a new author. I want to thank her for letting some of her books as in the first of this series to be given for free. It helps people who like to read find new authors to read. I've found several treasures from authors doing this very thing. My Library is growing as is my list of favorite authors. Welcome aboard Brenda Pandos. I'm on my way to check out another of your books.
