There's a bounty out on the Clown Prince of Crime, and there's no shortage of people trying to claim it. The only place Batman can keep his nemesis safe is the Batcave, but even that haven may not be safe enough when the Riddler comes calling.

Another great saga of Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl against our favorite villainous clown and Riddler. A wealthy pharmacist has put out a bounty on Joker causing all of Gotham to want to kill him.
The humor in this is quite funny and some of the Joker's lines are quite telling. So why 2 stars? Look at the cover, see Batgirl. It takes her over half the comic to actually have a line even though she is in several panels and is supposing helping Batman and Robin. Nightwing shows up midway, and gets a line before her. And then she is left to guard the Joker, fails, and is bailed out by Alfred, but the men are all doing heroic things.

Pretty good read. Just a little predictable in the storyline. As usual, Joker up to his shenanigans, Riddler trying to get his cut and Clayface wanting it all. Great time reading to my four year old, he is just finding his comic book experience. He really likes Batman. I don't know where he gets it from...
I don’t really think Batman Gotham Adventures has anything to do with Gotham Central but I’ve enjoyed both the Batgirl and Supergirl comics in this line and I still have more coffee left.
What do you call this line of comics? I’m tempted to say the ‘kiddie’ Batman, but I don’t really think that’s true.
”With a Price On His Head!” has Batman, Batgirl and Robin (Tim) chasing the Joker.
”He will never meet up with justice in liberal Gotham City.”
The father of a recent victim of the Joker’s offers 50 million dollars to anyone who kills the Joker. That Batman just caught.
Arkham Asylum calls Commissioner Gordon and tells him there are a couple of hundred people on the front lawn waiting to see if they can collect that fifty million.
After hanging up Commissioner Gordon gets a package. Who lets him get packages anymore?!
Meanwhile Batman has taken the Joker to the Batcave. Really Batman?
Nightwing shows up. Then Alfred comes down to the Batcave. Robin tackles him before he gets down, but Robin tells them that Gordon has lit the signal.
They all leave Batgirl to guard the Joker. What could possibly go wrong?
”Just you and me now, girlie. You want to play a game?”
The package Gordon got was a riddle for the Batman. The Riddler wants Batman to kill the Joker and give him the 50 mil.
Meanwhile in the Batcave, Joker is heading upstairs after whacking Batgirl.
”But if I have to wear a flying animal costume, I want to be the Squirrel.”
”You’re too trusting, Batman.
That was really good! At least 4 stars.
I like the art too by Rick Burchett & Terry Beatty. It’s definitely ‘aping’ Bruce Timm, but I like Bruce Timm!
This little comic book was certainly creative. A quick 40-page read. It is hard to read it on kindle because the words in the thought bubbles are very small. The action was nice and the quirky jokes on both sides of justice are equally funny. I loved Batman T.V. Shows growing up, and then I loved the original movies with Keaton, Schwartzenneger, Clooney, and Devito. As my children began to learn how to read I noticed their interest in literature and books was waning. so I began to purchase comics and before long they were hungry for reading again. Comics are that strange middle ground in literature. They fall somewhere between serious reading and some even consider them a waste of time. I beg to differ on the latter point. They are certainly not a waste of time, and they invoke a person's imagination in ways that books don't; With that being said, I wouldn't take them too seriously. I don't believe they are intended to be taken too seriously as far as reading goes, but they are part of the World's culture and can be used to convey ideas the same as any other writing platform. I would recommend this graphic novel to those who enjoy comics and graphic novels, and those who enjoy the fictitous culture of Gotham city.
The story opens with Batman chasing The Joker through Gotham Square.
Robin is a little boy in this one…so there’s that. Batgirl looks really young, too.
Reid Pharmaceuticals, led by President and CEO Douglas Reid, has called a press conference.
Turns out, Douglas’s son was murdered by The Joker last week. The announcement—a huge bounty for the execution of The Joker—whips the entire city into a frenzy.
Nightwing is pissed. Broody as usual. 🙄
There’s also an adventure with The Riddler.
Good action. The illustrations are very functional; not the most artistic renditions.
Overall, a bit too tidy in the wrap-up and resolution.
I guess the statement has been made in different comics about why Joker is not killed. Man under the Red Hood asks it powerfully. But what if someone megarich decided to put a contract oit on Joker to have him killed. What will Batman and the Bat family do?
I found the artwork for joker not as good as in other comics. But nice range of characters having a role - Batgirl Nightwing Robin (no 3) Alfred and another two villians nicely weaved in. Worth reading.
Very good comic book. The graphics are great. The story line was perfect. Ending was awesome. The characters had great personalities. I recommend this comic book to anyone that is interested. Batman will be famous for many more years to come.
I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested. Book is awesome. Graphics were excellent. The story line was great.
I picked up this series because of its similarity to Batman the Animated Series, and was happy to find that it is! This read like a BTAS episode in comic form, from the art to the storyline. I'm happy to have stumbled across it and I look forward to reading the rest of the series!
This is the first issue of a comic book series. The joker escapes yet again. But this time a rich businessman offers a reward to anyone that kills the Joker. So Batman and his cohorts have to keep the Joker hidden until they can straighten everything out.
I have never been a fan of this style of art. It seems very childish and makes the stories seem more juvenile.
That's how I see it. The only adult thing I saw was the question as to why Joker is allowed to murder, escape and then do it all over again. Reid is a compassionate man but not a smart one. Now he'll share some of the blame for future murders. So will Batman and many others.
I'm new to reading comics but I have been a huge fan of the old Batman tv show. Loved to read this and will definitely want to read more from this series.
My heart hurts. To borrow from Stan Lee, ' nuff said. Argle bargle jargon jargle, hurtful idiocy is needed for poor goodreads. Accuracy, brevity and precision are no longer prized.
