This book is a critical and timely resource for anyone who cares about the Holiness tradition and takes seriously the deeper work of the Holy Spirit.
I have lately been thinking, how interesting it is, that a denomination which was founded by people who were radically revived and propelled by the Holy Spirit, is now sometimes seen persecuting those who take the movement of the Holy Spirit and the manifest presence of God seriously. It is a strange irony, but one we have seen repeated before us in history.
This book is a competent response. I highly respect the author's careful scholarship and balance in approaching this topic. He is a voice of sanity and Biblical truth standing out in the sea of voices of extremes within our tradition. This conversation and training is desperately needed.
