Insightful writing....I cried real tears during this one!
The passion and sexual chemistry is still there between Hunter and Linette after many years of hate, pain and delusion...
There was only one thing, I didn`t understand enough: When they finally slept with each other on the trip the first time again, he was so cold and distant the next morning. Why? I understand he was offended and desperate thinking she never loved him, as she married so soon again. But then in that night he already knew the true reason, he event felt guilty, that she had to marry Benton. He understood it all, he wanted her back, loved her. Why it took so long to the end of the book when he finally confessed his love (and devotion *deepsigh*) to her? He saw how affectionate and responding to him she was that night. She expressed her love to him... And he knew it all why she had to marry Benton....and how somewhat it was his fault too. But, he hold it back all to the end and hurt Linette with that. This annoyed me a bit. Why deny these feelings when you see that they are mutual?
That`s why it is 4,5 stars for me =)
Maybe some phrases and words more in this part, on why he is acting that way would be helpful =)
