Double or Nothing

I'm Jack Reid.
Casino owner. Playboy. Professional bad influence.
I always know the odds, never walk into a game blind, and I've always got an ace up my sleeve. Or so I thought.
Bryce Maddocks was supposed to be a casual hookup. Just a hot guy in a bar who caught my attention.
Alice Parker was supposed to be a posh artist I'd forget by sunrise.
Except Bryce stopped being casual.
Alice was anything but forgettable.
And somehow, they both became mine to worry about.
Now there's a powerful family spoiling for war, and a hundred reasons to walk away.
The smart move would be to go back to being the man I used to be.
No strings. No attachments. Nothing to lose.
Except now, I do have something to lose.
Two of them.
And when the stakes are this high, you go all in.
With Bryce and Alice on the line, it's Double or Nothing.

Jade has increasingly little to say about herself as time goes on, other than the fact she is an author, but she’s plenty happy with this. Living in imaginary realities and having a legitimate excuse for it is really all she’s ever wanted.
Jade is as dirty as you’d expect from her novels, and talking smut makes her smile.
She lives in the Herefordshire countryside with a couple of hounds and a guy who’s able to cope with her inherent weirdness.
She has a red living room, decorated with far more zebra print than most people could bear, and fights a constant battle with her addiction to Coca-Cola.

🎰🔥 Double or Nothing – Jade West 🔥🎰
Well, well, well… 😏 I honestly wasn't expecting this kind of story! We all know Jade West can deliver the 🔥🔥🌶️🌶️, but this time, there's a beautiful story hiding behind all that heat. ❤️‍🔥
For me, Jack is the real main character here. He's a casino co-owner with childhood trauma who sees life as nothing more than a game. Fun, casual relationships, no complications, and absolutely NO feelings! Because feelings only mess things up, right? 🤷‍♀️😂
But what happens when a recently divorced financial guy decides to hit a club and get back into the game? So far, so good… 😏🍸
Well, things get a whole lot more interesting when Princess Parker enters the picture. 👑🔥 An artist who has grown up trapped inside the gilded prison her “Daddy Parker” built around her, she's spent far too long living by someone else's rules.
And what do we get when these worlds collide?
One hell of a MMF romance with a fantastic plot! 🤭🔥🌶️
Beyond the steamy scenes, this story is about trauma, freedom, courage, and learning how to live your own life instead of the one someone else has planned for you. It's about breaking chains, pushing boundaries, and finally silencing the voice telling you what you should do so you can listen to the one telling you what you truly want.
Because sometimes, one night of fun can turn into a life lesson… and some games are worth the risk. 🎰😉
I came for the 🔥 and ended up leaving with emotions, a smile, and a story that gave me so much more than I expected!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 stars ❤️‍🔥🌶️🌶️

As a casino owner, Jack Reid lived life to the fullest. His encounters with Bryce Terrence Maddocks and Alice Rose Parker were supposed to be a temporary distraction, but turned into something more than any of them was ready to face.

Of all the characters, Jack stood out the most. He was the sunshine to the others’ gloom, although he could be a lot to take in. Bryce and Alice were two peas in a safe, familiar pod. Each frustrated me in one way or another with their action or inaction. However, the relationship worked because they needed to push each other for their own good.

I still can’t believe she’s like this. I had her down as so demure, so saintly, and… out of bounds.

I felt this story was too long, yet it still left a lot of questions about Jack's background unanswered. And with the characters' ages, I expected them to have more backbone. I also found the ending was too much like a soap opera. Fortunately, the book delivered on my filthy expectations, and I enjoyed the overall story.

Double or Nothing is a story of breaking free. It would appeal to readers who enjoy MMF romance with family drama.

Bryce Maddocks has lived his life by working hard, but after his divorce he was ready to explore other options. Jack Reid seemed to offer Bryce a tempting escape, especially when Alice Parker joins in the fun. However, the stakes are high and if they don’t play their cards right, they may have to fold.

“Perhaps needing a connection doesn’t make a person weak, after all. .”

Narrated in multiple POV, the long-time and off-limits vibe between straight laced Bryce and artist Alice Parker is immediately apparent. With a character like Jack who knows no boundaries, they are free to explore every desire together. Yet the overwhelming notion of jeopardizing their careers or hearts compounds their choices and sacrifices.

From the beginning, I admired Bryce’s work ethic even though it is his Achilles heel. While I was rooting for these characters, it took me a while to warm up to Alice and Jack and was hoping Bryce and Alice would come to certain conclusions sooner. That said, it delivered in proper naughtiness.

Double or Nothing is a why choose romance full of desire in a MMF relationship.

Jade!!!! 🔥❤️🌶️🥵

There’s a reason this woman is easily one of my top three favorite authors, and Double or Nothing is another reminder of exactly why.

Jade has an incredible ability to pull you so deeply into a story that you’re not just reading about the characters, you’re experiencing their emotions right alongside them. The intensity, the rawness, the vulnerability… it’s all there. You don’t have to relate to their circumstances to feel their emotions. Their struggles feel real, and you can’t help but become invested in their journey.

And the SPICE?! 🥵🌶️ Listen, this is Jade West we’re talking about. The woman understands the assignment! The chemistry is scorching, the scenes are unapologetically filthy, and the balance between the heat and the storyline is fantastic.

I’m here for this book! ❤️🔥 Grateful for the ARC!!!

Now excuse me while I go get some water bc of all the spice!

I absolutely LOVE this new book from Jade West. At first it felt like just a smut fest. A very good one at that. So well written. And then the story and characters start to weave and by the end I couldn't put it down. And I didn't want the story to end as the characters are so lovable. The themes are not as 'challenging' as previous books and it goes back to a similar theme from 'Sugar Daddies'. The first Jade West book I ever read. But honestly it's nice to get a sweet read. But it's not simple by any means and I spent the whole book wondering how it was going to pan out. Knowing it would be the ending I was wishing for but no idea of the path.
Honestly. I was a joy and I plan to start over and read again.

Bryce, Jack and Alice!!!!

Omg, this book was just......... Wow, I thought I loved Jack at first, the cheeky player, but as I saw him grow with Bryce and Alice, wow, just wow. The three of them together are perfect, a true spectacle of colour that shines brighter when they are all together. There were parts where I honestly cried, my heart broke for them, which made the other parts soooooo much sweeter.
You must go and read this book, it's so worth it and definitely plucks every available emotion. You'll feel, anger, sadness, joy, laughter and love that shines through. These three had me feeling everthing, and I've not enjoyed a rollercoaster like that for a long time.
Embrace the beautiful triptych that is Jack, Bryce, and Alice and see their colours shine.

Okay and really???? The other daunting obstacle is your boyfriend will maybe get fired????? Girl…… I just…… this is fucking boring!

I knew I was in for a filthy treat right from the get go, it is a Jade West book after all. What I didn’t expect was the insane connection I would find between Jack, Bryce and Alice. I found myself crying, screaming and yelling throughout the entire story while also hoping and praying for this unconventional group. The spice is absolutely off the charts as I knew it would be, but this story is so much more than just a naughty good time.

I think this could be my favorite Jade West book and I’ve loved them all. The spice is so hot and dirty but this book has such emotional depth, a plot and storyline that felt so authentic and character growth that was earned and genuine.
Really hoping we get Eli’s story next.

If you've read Jade West books before you'll know she does great characters, great sex scenes and great storytelling.

If you've not read Jade West books before you need to know she does great characters, great sex scenes and great storytelling.

Yet again you have brought us into the story, the characters and their lives and experience the emotional rollercoaster along with them.

There was such strong banter throughout the book, and I loved the sandwich maker thread!

Either way, buy this book. It has great characters, great sex scenes (starting in chapter one) and great storytelling.

Jade got me with this book. Double or Nothing will hook you with the incredible chemistry and MMF kink fuelled spice, then she'll keep you for the surprisingly sweet and emotional love story. What this book gives is three characters, trapped in their own lives and seeking genuine connection (without even realising). Bryce is the recently divorced, career-orientated, rule follower. Alice is the free spirited artist enslaved to her family name and parental expectation. Jack is the wild card. He is the casino owning, one nighter with an aversion to commitment or responsibility.

On paper these three seem like a mismatch. But in each other they find a connection and a freedom. My favourite thing about this book is Jack. He is the instigator and the rule breaker. He sees the bigger picture and isn't afraid to use his charm to manipulate situations to his benefit. Once he sets his heart on a target(s) he is all in. His lack of confidence comes from deep routed insecurities. By falling in love he is able to use his charm for good and win a future for the three of them.

This book is a narrative of two halves. The first half is pure smutty deliciousness. These three explore themselves together in every which way. The second half gives us family politics, an arranged engagement, yearning and finally standing up to your oppressor. I loved both parts equally and loved the efforts these three go through to get their HEA.

A perfectly steamy MMF love story with plenty of drama thrown in for fun.

ARC received for review.

What does a casino owner, a finance guy and a rich girl turned painter have in common?

A love of toasties, champagne and s3x…and not much else really.

I really wanted to love this book.

Let’s be honest - Jack stole the show. He stole the whole story from start to finish and if I’m being honest he was the only character I was truly interested in with Bryce as a close second. I thought these two men worked great together and made a good couple in and out of the bedroom.

Alice honestly didn’t bring that much to the table other than hair-pulling frustration and exasperated sighs throughout.

Due to the length of the story I had too much time being frustrated with both Alice and Bryce’s indecisiveness and lack of backbone to stand up for themselves against Alice’s father. It just dragged on and on and I wanted to reach into my Kindle and smack Alice across the face and tell her to grow up and to stop bitching at Jack for not understanding how she couldn’t stand up to her dad even when he was being so old fashioned and out of reason. They were acting like they were in the 1800s and it pissed me off to no end. I was fully with Jack on that one.

I would have been just fine without Alice in this story and kept the focus on Jack and Bryce.

The filth was gloriously filthy as always and just what I expected from Jade West so on that part she did not disappoint. The story itself, however, did a bit and that sucks because I usually love Jade’s books. Maybe I just cannot move on from The Naughty List and nothing will ever be as good as that series.

I’ve been sitting on this review for a couple of days now, not knowing exactly how to put all my thoughts into words, so I’m just going to say the following:

1) Jade West spices best!
If spice is your thing, this book is for you! It spices early, it spices often, and it spices hard. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart!

2) Size matters!
This book is THICK! We’re talking over 700 pages thick! But honestly? Every single page was necessary. Bryce, Jack, and Alice needed that time to grow, to evolve, and to take us on the journey from a casual, no-strings-attached situationship to something more. So much more. And I was SO invested!

3) And lastly… the art of it all.
I absolutely loved how Jade wove the world of art into this story. The business, the muses, the sketching, the use of colour… it all felt so intentional.
If you’ve lived a little, I think you’ll understand when I say that sometimes life happens, or people happen to us, that quite literally suck the colour out of our lives. The vibrancy fades, everything turns a little greyer, and somewhere along the way, we lose our sparkle.
And in this story, when life happens, that loss of colour seeps into the characters’ lives in a way that is both visible and visceral. Art becomes more than just a backdrop; it becomes a reflection of what they feel, what they lose, and what they find again.
Bryce, Jack, and Alice each bring their own shades to the canvas, contrasting and complementing one another in ways that make their story all the more compelling.
Here’s to putting it ALL on the table!

Double or Nothing is a feisty, spicy MMF love story that absolutely delivers all the feelings, along with the smut that Jade West is so well known for. Jack is a playboy Casino owner who floats along in life, refusing to form attachments or take anything seriously. He meets Bryce in a club on the night Bryce's divorce is finalized and they set out for what is supposed to be a one night stand. The next night Jack accompanies Bryce to a charity event where he is introduced to Alice Rose Parker, artist, daughter to Bryce's boss, and the one woman he has ever truly loved. The 3 start a passionate love affair which is under threat from Daddy Parker from the very start, but no more so when he announces that Alice Rose will be marrying the son of a business associate. Eventually, their love story wins out - Jack grows up and accepts responsibility, Bryce and Alice stand up to Daddy Parker and take control of their own lives.
We hear lots about Bryce and Alice's lives and history, and I would have liked to have more about Jack's own history, rather than a token couple of paragraphs that are his own thoughts and we never see them revealed to Bryce and Alice, but that is a minor niggle.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story - I laughed and cried out loud, cheered when Bryce hit Christopher and was even inspired enough to have a cheese toastie while enjoying the book. Another fantastic achievement from Jade West that I am sure I will be returning to.

This was a rollercoaster for sure.

Jack our fun loving, takes nothing serious, fly by his coat tails kind of man.

Bryce, the polar opposite. Too serious, overthinker, sensitive, needs support.

Alice, a wild butterfly caged. Sweet, curious, playful but a pawn.

There journey was unexpectedly complex. Weeved amongst the flirty and dirty was trauma bone deep. The kind that cuts you. The kind that frustrates you. I found myself laughing and blushing but just as quickly ranting and wanting to throw my kindle. It tells the true depths of hurt and masterful manipulation. When a person who holds power, uses it to their advantage in a way that crees up on you. The kind of power that lead you to believe they hold the power and you the pawn have none. It was maddening at times seeing Bryce falter at the fear of disappointment. At Alice blinded by love making crazy choices. And yet I understood. The same way Jack jumped without thought. I like I said ... COMPLEX.

Yet beautiful.

Their journey had me gasping, clutching my pearls and praying for my deprived soul. I laughed, swooned and felt all the butterflies. I also fumed and felt resentment at times. The point though? I felt all the feels.

Jade never disappoints with her stories and Double or Nothing is no different. It will push your buttons in everway and leave you rung dry by the end.

🌟ARC Review🌟

Double or Nothing was such a lovely story, and one of those books where you really fall in love with the characters.

At first, I wasn’t sure I was going to like Jack. He comes across as confident and carefree, but as the story unfolds, you begin to understand where he’s coming from and why he’s built his life the way he has. Watching him navigate the unfamiliar feelings he has for Bryce and Alice was beautifully written. I found myself rooting for him—and for all three of them—every step of the way.

Jack, Bryce and Alice come from very different lives, with different beliefs and family backgrounds. They each have their own reasons for putting others first: protecting their families, avoiding hurt, or doing what they believe is expected of them. Jade West captures those struggles so thoughtfully, while showing that, despite their differences, they’re all capable of loving deeply.

I’ve read every single one of Jade’s books and have been an ARC reader for quite a few of them. Naughty List is one of my favourite sets of books, but this story captured me right from the beginning. It was a brilliant read, and Jade has written it so beautifully. That’s why she’s one of my favourite authors.

This book kicks off with spicy and it doesn’t stop!! It is a spice charged emotional rollercoaster of smut, passion and love and a fabulous read.
These 3 MCs are all trapped in different ways and it takes a passionate coming together to help them each break free and see the path that needs taking and the truth to what was holding them back.

The first half of this book was fun, flirty and at times frustrating as they were all so stuck in their ways they could see what they were doing or how to get out of their own traps, but as things started to explode and emotions began to soar the book started to gain more need to read, we you really needed to see these characters push and see beneath the veil that had been draped over each of their eyes. BT seeing the truth of his boss, Alice seeing the truth to her dad and Jack seeing the truth of why he pushes and plays and how they all take action and find their true family.. it’s beautiful.

Jade has a beautiful gift of filthy writing with so much heart that each read is a smutty slice of romance delight.

Oh my, the entire review has been *REDACTED* to comply with Amazon review policies 😆 (insert your own imagination here)

You know when you hit that first bit spicy scene in a book so you know you're about the halfway mark? Yeah, Jade doesn't do that. It'll have you hot under the collar from the first chapter in 🔥

Alice, Jack and Bryce. Their whirlwind of a romance will get your heart racing right along with theirs. Jade's characters create so much excitement and thrill, it's contagious while you read.

From the lust and obsession of the beginning of their relationship. Moving then to the deep feelings and broken down walls. Each character experiences their own growth that all paired together so wonderfully throughout this mega read.

I'm always beyond excited when one of Jade's books are on my kindle. Her work is getting better, spicier, hotter, more love. Will never not recommend.

Thank you so much Jade for having me on your team.

Jade West is one of my favorite authors and this book cemented that!
Wow what a book ❤️ This book is based on Jack (a casino owner / bisexual playboy, Bryce (financial wizz who has just divorced his ex wife snd is also bisexual) and Alice (an artist whose father is Bryce's boss and has been in love with Bryce forever).

Jack and Bryce met in a bar, spend the night with each other and really connect. Bryce takes Jack to an art exhibition where Alice has some paintings.

Jack, Bryce and Alice spend the night together and this is where the fun behind. Jade's is great at the spice and this book had plenty of it 🔥🥵🔥🥵🔥🥵

Outside influences have a big impact on their relationship and they all have decisions to make.

What I loved about this book was the spice, the emotions and the realistic characters.

A must read book!!!

OMG! I freaking LOVED Jack from the first page. I took my sweet time reading this one, since I knew I'd want to savor every word. In true Jade West fashion, not only is there filthy, dirty fun, but deeply emotional characters, all kinds of personal and outward obstacles to overcome, and heart, always heart.

You'd never know that such dirty sex scenes could also have your pulse pounding in anticipation and worry, your heart breaking in love, and wanting to slay the character's dragons. This book does it.

Jack, the joker, always looking for a good time. Bryce, the loyal employee looking for validation, and Alice, the free spirit that is trying to break free of her cage. They all thought their lives were just fine, but together, they were magic.

I absolutely loved these 3 characters, and Eli, I really hope there's a book on this enigma of a man.

When you read Jade West’s new release, you expect hotter than hot scenes, you expect characters that pull you in and you expect to inhale her books in one sitting.
This book. This book caused me to keep putting it down, absorbing what I had read, and then carry on.
Jack, Bryce and Annie are characters that carry deep and complex emotions that make the reader take a breather. The scenes need their own cold shower and the overbearing father of Annie make you want to scream in frustration.
This book has made me want to see more of the trio, to see how they are in the future…and Eli, now he has a history that I also want to see more of, in his own way

Jade, you knocked this one out of the park within the first chapter

I love the extremely spicy, filthy fun in a Jade West book. I also love the love story one might not expect from a smutty book. In this one, Jack, the irresponsible playboy, meets the workaholic Bryce for a one-night stand. Things don't stop there, but they run into Bryce's old friend and crush, Alice, an artist who is a prisoner to her family's legacy and father's whims. Things start as temporary, but they each have an impact on each other. The characters grow so much because of the others' influence. There is suspense, art, sexy times, shenanigans, and toasties. I love the found family they create and how they handle the obstacles in the way of their happiness, and the lengths they go to to support and protect each other.

I loved this so much—it was a struggle to put it down and be a functional member of society. That's why it took me way too long to finish it. That, and the fact that I fell in love with the main characters! So much so, many times throughout the book I wanted to jump right into it and slap them for delaying their happy ever after! This is very well written, with a great storyline and plot, and it's very, very exciting—and I'm not just referring to the off-the-chart spice, but also the great characters. I'm looking forward to diving into the next possible storyline, which is begging to be told. Those who have read this know who I'm talking about. Five stars as always for Jade West's excelent story.

I fully expected a smutty read when I picked up this new MMF book by Jade West. And I did get plenty of smut. But I also got plenty of heartfelt moments, which I didn't think this book would have.
We watch the relationship grow between these three and see the struggles and the triumphs as well. I was cheering for them, and crushed for them at times. There was so much adversity against them.
She is heavy too. This book is loooooong. But it really didn't feel long. I just read an 800 page fantasy book that took me over a month, and this one took me a few days. I kept finding myself picking it back up whenever I could.
This is a good one. Place your bets and go all in with this book.

double or nothing - to fight for what you want

This story was so Raw, emotional, real and beautiful. I loved the character development. The two MMC are so genuine, goofy, loving and kind. The FMC took for ever to come to her senses and choose real love . The artwork was exquisite and the sex scene were spicy ❤️‍🔥. First few chapters suck you in. I laughed and i cried. The ending had the perfect HEA. I just wish we could’ve seen the father feel the full affects of his manipulative power and how much damage he did and remorse or regret he felt. As well as the aftermath between Mr. & Mrs. Parker. Overall i loved this story so much.
