This was a wonderful motivational biography. As Tahar's story unfolds it gives us food for thought. He had great wisdom but admits to many failings along his professional career. He experiences great high and deep lows, but it is only after this journey that he finds true riches. I found his prose uplifting and many of his words will remain with me.
Thoroughly recommend!

Firstly let me start by how engrossed I was and still am in this book. For a novice writer, Tahar Ali cuts through the whimsical boastfulness or 'hard knock life' attention seeking attitude as I've noticed in other entrepreneurial, from rags to riches recounts, instead he writes honestly and with true compassion for the reader. Letting you know every time he slipped up honestly, you sympathise with his hardships as you recognise yourself in how he felt.
At times chapters felt a bit rushed but understandably as he has obviously had a really eventful life and trying to fit that into one book, while also encouraging and giving tips that relate to the situation described (and how to deal with such) it really is a breath of fresh air.
Reading this book has prepared me for my journey in life and I have referenced back to it often to see what tips I can use that relate to my career. While I'm building my business and rather quickly thanks to this book of encouragement, it may suit the more investment and corporate career seekers, but if it's helping me with advice on my career and suggestions on how to build myself up in the art world, then it really is a free to suggestion as to how you want to succeed.
Some people say that inspirational speakers and advisors are useless as nothing has worked, well here is the secret, within this book and in life you take in what you're looking for and needing and it's up to you to decide what to do with that advice.
The phrase 'go hard or go home' comes to mind.
Again, I can't thank Tahar Ali for writing such an inspiring book and for sharing with the world, the tools to succeed in anything, from relationships to careers to self esteem building. This book has it all.
