A spy and action thriller featuring a teenage girl who kicks butt and outsmarts with the best of them. To accomplish her mission, though, she'll need to team up with those she trusts the least in this latest Raven File case.
Jocelyn Steely (code name: Raven) may have escaped the clutches of KATO and won the trust of the IDA, but she isn’t out of danger yet. Her cover is blown and KATO agents are after her, but that won’t stop Jocelyn. After all, her goal was never merely to escape KATO. She wants revenge.
Dead set on rescuing the one girl that she—and the IDA—failed to save, Jocelyn is forced to recruit other KATO agents to her side. She must hand over just enough intelligence to gain their trust, while still preventing her plans from getting back to her former tormentors. Is she out of her league in this battle? Or does she have what it takes to derail KATO once and for all?
This high-stakes spy thriller will have readers on the edge of their seats until the final mind-blowing revelation.

update: I just found out that since not enough people have read this series, it is in danger of becoming extinct. The publisher has not picked up the third book. So please read this book guys for all of us that want the third book to exist!
I LOVED IT. WHERE IS THE NEXT BOOK!!! GIVE IT TO ME AND PLEASE MAKE MY SHIP SAIL!!!
EDIT: So apparently the publisher hasn't ordered a third book for this series :( Everyone please read and leave a comment to convince them it needs to happen! Love this series :)
This book kicks ass!!! I was so thrilled to read an ARC of the next Raven Files series by Meghan Rogers and the author did not disappoint. There is so much adrenaline on the page that I just couldn't read it fast enough. But Rogers also deepens the personality and motivations of all her recurring characters, which was beyond awesome. Meghan Rogers writes badass girl spy like a rock star so if you're tastes run toward the thriller, the high-octane world of spy mission, well--DO NOT MISS THIS SERIES!!
Yes! Jocelyn is back, as tough, smart, and inspiring as ever. I loved how the story here got us deeper into her background and relationships, and drew out elements that had been hinted at in the first book. The plotting is tight, complex, and convincing, and every page is filled with suspense. Jocelyn is one of my favorite action heroes ever.
While I didn't love it as much as I did book 1, it came very close. I like the addition of the new characters and that once again, romance wasn't a main focus (which it is too often in other books). The story kept me engaged from start to finish. Can't wait for the next one.
Another fast paced and action packed spy story. While I didn’t like it quite as much as the first one that may well have been because my expectations were so unreasonably high because I LOVE LOVE LOVE Crossing the Line. Jocelyn is still a strong kick-ass heroine totally focussed on bringing down KATO. She still struggles with what she had to do to survive and her addiction to the Gerex, particularly now that her father is back in her life and she doesn’t want him to know the details. What I particularly like about Jocelyn is how even when she is going to fall apart because of a trigger to her past she still holds it together for the mission/task and only fall apart afterwards. In this one Jocelyn has a plan to turn some of her fellow KATO agents and I really enjoyed meeting all 3 of these girls, all who have suffered as Jocelyn has but are still trapped. While Missy is the smartest and I admired how she survived, Centipede probably has the worst time being still based out of KATO - it was the unstable, homicidal Venom that was my favorite. And Travis - you disappoint me. Given what Jocelyn has been through and how hard it is for her to trust – and that she has let you in you need to value that more. No you don’t have to agree with everything she says and does but to chuck a hissy fit and pull out of the mission – not cool man. Given her past and reasonable trust issues I would have thought that behavior would have killed her trust but Jocelyn once again proves her maturity and that she has her priorities straight by focusing on the mission and forgiving Travis when he comes around and rejoins the mission.
I would like to go on the record saying that I am VERY concerned that there is no third book happening currently. Please I need to know what happens next!
Enemy Exposure was an awesome sequel where we got even more awesome spies. Jocelyn is still amazing and her crew is fantastic. I absolutely loved the characters we got to learn a lot more about. Truthfully any of these girls could kick my ass and I’d be thankful???? They are badass and I love reading about them. But you know what else is amazing? They’re not only badass, they’re all three dimensional characters! Everyone has a background and I loved learning about some. (Again, I really hope for another book so we can get more details).
The plot was awesome! I wasn’t sure how the author would move forward after the conclusion of Crossing the Line, but I loved the direction it went in. We got to read more of Jocelyn’s history and thoughts, which I loved reading. I really enjoyed this whole book! No complaints from me!
Please please please read this series if you haven’t already because I’d sell my left arm to know how this story continues. I want to see KATO fall!
Tremendous book, I loved this small series and connected very well, the author did an amazing job explaining small details making it feel as if I were watching it, I look forward to the third book and believe it will be just as good.
The second book of the Raven files, I genuinely enjoyed the story, it was a good continuation from the first book. It is the typical spy agent story with the added element of the drug-driven enhancement that the main character went through. This enhancement brought another level to the story, almost diving into the aspects of drug addiction that was much more than I would have expected from a book like this. Overall, I really wanted a third book after this because there are still a lot of unanswered questions but this book and the story so far has been great and really enjoyable! ( if I am not wrong, there was supposed to be a third book, however, I am not sure if it is still going to happen)
OMGosh!! Loved it as much as I loved Crossing the Line! Amazing YA spy thriller from the incomparable Meghan Rogers.
I was so lucky to receive this as an ARC and I can't wait for everyone else to read this book. It comes out soon, so make sure you grab CROSSING THE LINE and read it first. Fans of tv's ALIAS will LOVE this series!!! I'm dying for book 3 already!!! :-)
I love venom omg she’s so great. I love how this book introduced so many new characters and new ideas. I will definitely be reading more books by this author when they come out.
I like spy books. I like unique and different characters. This just didn't work. There were several things that I think lead up to my dislike for Enemy Exposure. 1. The pure perfection of Travis's & Jocelyn's relationship. The argued, they talked it over, they forgave, and carried on. Over and over. I didn't appreciate that. 2. I didn't feel like KATO tried hard enough to capture Jocelyn. When they did-it took a MAJOR backseat to the mission (I won't spoil that). I feel like KATO wasn't as important as it was said to be. 3. The swearing-I was right. There wasn't as much as in the previous book, but when it did (a dozen times or so) it was completely unnecessary! There is many ways you can express anger in language without cursing so much. Yeah-that REALLY bothered me. 4. In the first book-it was really fast paced. This book was not. It kept you waiting for some things-and not for other-more important things. Especially at the end of the book. Overall-this might be my fault. I was super busy so it took my several days to read it, and that may be the cause of my issue with the pace.
I really enjoyed the first book in this series and was glad to see there was a second book. I really only have two minor issues with this book. The plot wasn't quite as coherent as the first one; it felt disjointed, like the author picked some events and had to stitch together a way to make them work, as opposed to choosing a series of events that can easily be connected. The only other issue I had was that keeping the names and codenames of everyone straight, . Those two things didn't really change how much I enjoyed the book though, and I'm definitely ready for the next one in the series.
This series may seem like the same cliche-rogue agent type of story, but it also has twists and its own type of adventure. I love how Jocelyn is fighting back against KATO by taking other KATO agents and bringing them to her side. The relationship between Joss and Travis is like how Tris and Four in Divergent was: tense with underlying affection. I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE BEXT INSTALLMENT AND HOW THE STORY WILL PROGRESS!!!

it was pretty good again but it feels like its stretching out and hasn't reached the point. It's more of a continuation from the previous book and they both sorta share a plot, there's not much new happening here. As usual I liked the writing and would like to read more from this author but I don't think there is anything. Solid slump buster and a good part two but I think it's a little stretched out.
This book was just as good as the first! It added in other KATO agents which made it that much more interesting. This is my yearly reread of this series and I’m left feeling so gutted there’s not another one after this book. Hoping the publisher will come to their senses and ask for more!! LOVED IT
This book was amazing and I hope that the third book is published soon I am dying to know what's going to happen next! Please keep up the good work and remember to be the awesome you that you are because today is just another great day waiting to happen!
The fact that the publisher hasn’t picked up this series for a third book is so cruel. I throughly have enjoyed both the first and second book in this series. They kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and I can’t wait to see where things go from this cliffhanger of an ending.
This one felt slower than the first and was harder to keep engaged with. I also forgot how abruptly it ended and the series was cancelled before she ever wrote a third so I’ll never know the end of the story 😞 still a good nostalgic read
