Some chances are gifts. There's nothing to lose now, and everything to gain, because things like this are far too incredible to miss out on.

The world has been in turmoil for over ten years.
Ancient beings from a time before memory nearly destroyed everything in an attempt to remove the regular people from the planet, simply to bring in their own golden age. They were defeated by the young of their own kind. Immortals that sacrificed nearly everything they had, to protect the innocent.
Dareg Canton was one of those they saved. A mere child when the world was thrown into chaos, left alone by a killer storm that took the only parent he ever knew. To make his way he moved to the capital of Noram, a place of relative prosperity... and hope.
Once there he finds that reality isn't what he was told, and that his entire future is about to be set into motion by the very people that once protected the entire world. Because the Young Ancients are returning from their exile in space, and like it or not, the job of getting ready to greet them is being dumped on him. The lowest of the low.
It's a chance to gain everything, if he can work it right.
If not, then he stands to lose more than he ever would have thought possible.

P.S. Power

P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line.

Hello Everyone!

In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!

Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!!

Really liked this. It's a follow on from the Young Ancients but still features the main ones also including some of the younger new ones. The main character was a little different. It also feels like it may just be a little bit darker. Can't wait for the next one. Hopefully not too long to wait.

This 17th book in the Young Ancients series begins a new series after the series and starts 10 years approximately after the end of the 16th book in the series. A new character, Tor's son, is introduced as the main character.

The series begins with the return of the young ancients to Earth after their 11 year absence (forced on them by Timon's ancient killing field that is not longer functioning).

This book is prototypical P.S. Power in that is has a number of grammatical errors and at times suffers from poor story telling. If not for my love of the characters and world Power created, I would have stopped reading these books long ago.

But, that is just it, it is the world we have all (all who have read the first 16 books to get to this one) love and have forgiven Power (or at least tolerate) his failings.

That said, I have also read the next two books after this one. The second one is much like this one, and the third one jumps off a cliff into a multiverse that becomes tedious and confusing.

I cannot recommend readers of the Young Ancients series continue with this new series.

Lineage

Powers does it again. After being gone for 11 years Tor and his ancient buddies return to find that Tor has a son. Dare is thrown into helping the world out in good of young ancient style. They have now encountered a new threat, one that may not be beatable. A good start to the second cycle.

Good Read.

10 years have passed from the exile of the ancients. The main character is found out to be a person of note. He takes the lead with the incoming space fleet and the hidden enemy.

This book is slow on the uptake, but finishes wonderfully

I have not read the first Young Ancients series but the story stood on it's own. The characters were sort of read into the book with the important things included.

The wonder of the book is how it flowed and took on it's own life. Enjoy!

SPOILER ALERT! !

If you have not read book yet DON'T read this. I have read the ancients series from the beginning. Powers is a talented writer who has good plots, good characterization but he is a little too pornographic for my taste.
BUT HOW COULD HE KILL KOLB!? ! Gaaahh! !
