This is a dark whimsical graphic novel. Huxley is a boy who thinks he is a wizard. Dark shadows start appearing in the house and he tries to protect his little sister from them while their dad refuses to believe their stories. The art is very loose and expressive. I love love loved it, especially the tactile nature of being able to see the paper texture and the watercolour and pencil lines. It's really atmospheric. I really enjoyed it. It's a lot darker and creepier than I thought it would be but in a good way.

Adorable sketchy, watercoloury goodness with some great expressions and a story about fighting monsters and darkness.
