About the author

Justin Richards was a British writer of science fiction, fantasy, and adventure fiction. He wrote science fiction and fantasy novels, including series set in Victorian and early 20th-century London, as well as contemporary adventure stories. He was best known for writing numerous spin-off novels, reference books, and audio plays based on the long-running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who. Richards served as Creative Consultant for the BBC Books range of Doctor Who novels until 2017.

Digno y emotivo final para esta segunda temporada de Classic Audio Adventures. La tripulación del Liberator encuentra a Dayna criogenizada (muy hábil, así no "habla" en todo el capítulo) y con ella un antiguo complejo científico, a su madre y toda una enrevesada trama de traiciones y dobles juegos con la Federación que recogen perfectamente el espíritu sombrío y liante de la serie original de TV. Aunque en su totalidad no es tan buena como la primera, es una gran temporada.

Truth and Lies embraces that moral complexity fully.

If you like character-driven audio dramas with ethical tension and sharp dialogue, this is a strong entry. The audio format works beautifully here: performances are strong, pacing is tight, and the emotional stakes feel real even without visual spectacle.

The story leans into the series’ signature moral ambiguity, forcing characters to weigh survival against principle. It’s dark, thoughtful, and engaging in the way only Blake’s 7 can be.

Even if you’re not deeply familiar with the series, the plot remains accessible and compelling.

One I’m glad I picked up—and would happily recommend.

Enjoying the full cast Blake's 7 audios - it's like being back watching the TV series. Grant makes a good addition to the crew.
