I loved Blood Moon and what is even better is that this book is went live when there will be a Blood Moon tonight.
Lainie Suzanne has now ventured into the Paranormal genre oh and with her Alpha Male (gotta love the Alpha’s and I do!) and I am so happy she did. She really knows how to tell a story and I think she can write in any genre. I am waiting to see all that she can do!
Blood Moon is a Novella so it is a fairly fast read and this is Melaina Harrison and Marco Re’s story. I don’t usually like to repeat the synopsis because the authors do such a great job at summarizing the book without giving away the story!
Lainie Suzanne also describes her vampires so well. They actually can go out into the daylight and live but, doing so does age them. They can lose control and become sexually aroused during the transfer of blood and they have to have control in order not to release the venom that can turn a human into a vampire or kill them.
Marco is all alpha male! And Blood Moon is a very sexy HOT book! Lainie does know how to write a HOT scenes!

Lainie is known in the BDSM community for her Nexus series. This is her firt venture into the paranormal world and she's NAILED IT!!!! She maintains the complete alpha male in Marco, who I will admit at first I didn't like. Knowing his role, or thinking I knew his role made me dislike him immediately. Guess the joke was on me with the cliche of "judging a book by it's cover".
Melaina is a second grade teacher whose fiance died two years earlier in a tragic skiing accident. She meets Marco and his sister Keres when the child in their guardianship is forced to switch schools from an exclusive private school to a public school. All initially seems very innocent until Melaina sees a random vision and gets very mixed feelings concerning the two siblings.
The story will take some extreme twists and turns. Just when you think you've got everything Lainie moves the story again. It's brilliant, emotional and sexy as hell.

I will be the first to admit that I'm not a big fan of the paranormal genre. For me, the books tend to be so unrealistic that I have a hard time immersing myself into the storyline. However, Lainie Suzanne was able to capture my attention within the first few pages of the preface. She has written Blood Moon in such a way that I found myself thinking, hmmmm this could happen. Vampires could walk among us. She kept me intrigued from start to finish, and I LOVE when a book does that. The characters of Melaina and Marco are well developed and their sex scenes....HOLY HOTNESS! Yes, please and thank you.
I give Blood Moon 4.5 stars. I can't wait to see where Lainie Suzanne takes me...umm I mean, these characters next.

I have never been interested in Paranormal, but this book has converted me. I loved it and it kept me hooked from page 1. Thank you Lainie Suzanne for another GREAT book.

Great quick read! In this short novella you get vampires, revenge, plot twists, suspense, action, hot sex and did I say a sexy vampire too. What more could you want. This book is a page turner sucking you in from the very beginning and holding you hostage till the final sentence. A must read for any PNR fan.

I will admit to not being a fan of paranormal. If this wasn’t a Lainie Suzanne story, I wouldn’t have 1 clicked it. I would have really missed out! This is a great, quick read that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance, vampire romance, and realistic erotica. Just the right amount of white hot kink. Just the right amount of suspense.

Can't really give it more stars, I detest novellas but had to read this to read the full book.

As have many, I’ve seen all of the vampire films, but I’m not what you would call a fan of the paranormal genre. Blood Moon is more than a vampire story, it’s a love story that kept me on the edge. While yes, it’s a Novella, a quick read; it kept me reading not wanting to put the book down. I was captivated by the chemistry between Melania and Marco and at the books end I only wanted more.
If you are looking for a tale of sensual fantasy this book will fill your need. But I warn you, the bite of the vampire is intoxicating and will leave you panting and breathless, needing… One. More. Page.
I rate Blood Moon 5 Stars and hope to read more in the storyline.

Having never been interested in vampire romances, I honestly didn’t think I’d be all that crazy about this book. Lainie Suzanne is an awesome writer and I adore her. I’ve re-read her Nexus series a few times. For this reason, I decided to give it a shot.
Well, let me tell you that I’ve been bitten by Marco, and I loved every minute of it. I was concerned that the story might have too much paranormal content, so I treaded carefully. This book could have been about any hot, alpha guy, but it happened to be a vampire. I didn’t fall in love with Marco immediately. He did have to grow on me.
I loved the story. I was drawn into the book from the beginning, and I didn’t want to put it down. Melaina was a fun, sensual, and strong woman. Marco was kind of what I was expecting, but not really. He definitely had the commanding Dom vampire vibe going, but he could be a gentle soul when allowed to let his guard down a bit. He had a plan for Melaina. He expected her reaction to him, but he wasn’t prepared for his to her. This story was a great weave of passions, beliefs, spirituality. And some hot sex! Come on, Lainie is the author, remember?
I really hope Blood Moon continues into another book. I’d love to see how things play out with everyone.

In Blood Moon, Lainie Suzanne gives us a wonderful tale of revenge. Marco sets out to seduce Melaina so that his sister Keres can get even with her for a past transgression. Unfortunately for Keres, Marco winds up falling in love with the beautiful, yet unassuming, Melaina.
This is exactly what I have come to expect from Mrs. Suzanne. The story is well thought out, the drama is riveting and the characters are superbly developed. They also just happen to be vampires.
Just as Nexus cast BDSM clubs in a fresh light, Blood Moon gives a delightful twist to vampire mythology. This is the most excited I have been about blood suckers since Twilight, don't judge me I happen to have really enjoyed that series. In her typical fashion we get a fantastic story and are left clamoring for more, please give us some more Lainie. My only complaint about this work is it should have been a full blown novel instead of a novella. The Devil awards this a very rare 5 pitchforks.

Let me start by saying that this was not the typical genre I read. I have just started reading paranormal romance this past year, Blood Moon, being my first Vampire read. That being said I was a little hesitate to read Blood Moon, but once I started it I had a very hard time putting it down. Marco is an sexy vampire on mission with his sister Keres to plot revenge against the woman who took Keres forever love. Melaina an elementary school teacher and who becomes Marco's object desire and Keres victim in her plot for revenge. Melaina is your typical teacher, sweet and dedicated to her job. Marco not your typical vampire from your childhood nightmare, but instead a hot, sexy and dominate male. I loved that this read was not far off from other reads by Lainie Suzanne, it just had the twists of some of the characters being vampires. Blood Moon has made me a fan of new genre of reading for my future.

So it's no secret that I love LS and her Nexus series, but I think I have fallen in love with a possibility of more paranormal from her!
Blood Moon is a story of vengeance, love, lust , betrayal, all things needed to keep you interested!
Lainie's visions of vampires is a new one for me, and I enjoyed it !

This was a quick and enjoyable Paranormal romance. Marco lays on the charm to get Melania to fall for him. And fall she does....hard. The twist in the story completely threw me as I wasn't expecting it. My only complaint was that it ended too abruptly. This was an enjoyable read.

Lainie Suzanne is one of my absolute favorite authors. I love everything she writes she truly is talented and amazing. Her words just literally suck you into the story. Excellent book!

Lainie popped my paranormal cherry with Blood MOON and I'm so glad I waited! Giving a different version of how vampires live made it so much more believeable for me.

I love that this author's heroines are generally normal everyday women. The heroine is a school teacher and her back story is so real and she overcame her upbringing to become a college graduate.
