OMG That was a box set of crazy! Good crazy, but definitely crazy! And also stupidly sexy crazy!
Delirious box set is 4 books, a novella prequel, 2 books following 2 characters, then 1 book following another character. So it was quite a big story, and I read it all in a couple of days.
I had read Killer by Clarissa Wild, and knew she had a clever way of turning a dark, and gritty story into a big ball of confusing crazy mystery, and I loved it. So starting this box set, I had no clue what to expect.
Seek, the prequel tells the story of Lillith while she is in a mental institute. I'm just going to say, this was probably the most confusing of all the books, and made my head hurt the most. Clarissa Wild has this style, within this series, where she time jumps. So you will start off in one place, and then jump back to when something happened, then forward to present, and sometimes to a completely different time. And, it can be hella confusing, crazy confusing, so you need to really concentrate and pay attention. Which was even more hard in this prequel, as it's supposedly when the main character Lillith is at her most lost and confused, so being in her mind at that time, is enough to make you sit in a perpetual state of wtf?? But it's very catchy, sharp writing, the background is completely clever and addictive. I didn't know enough of the characters, to know if I liked them yet, but the story was compelling enough to grip me.
Snare, book 1 and the first main book. So now we are in to the main story, and Lillith is out of the mental institute, and starting to piece parts of the last 6 months together, with the help of Sebastian, the sorta hero, sorta evil bad guy. It's still too early to tell.
So the too-ing and fro-ing in the time line is still happening, and it's still confusing, but now that Lillith is out of the mental institute, it's far more clearer information, and easier to tell what is real.
Now as we are getting the story in pieces, and it feels like a giant mystery, secrets are unravelling at lightening speed, and the background to what is going on, is starting to come out. Now I can't explain any of the background story, which is what happened to Lillith and why she was put in the mental institute, and how she came to meet Sebastian, but what I can say is, WOW this background is seriously clever. Like genius idea clever. I love how it unraveled, and how detailed it all is. I wish I could say more, but seriously it can't be spoiled. It's dark, nasty, and stupidly bad, but so clever!!
I'm also starting to enjoy the characters more now. Lillith is finding her real self, and without all the craziness, and the confusion and I like her alot. Sebastian is sexy, but far too secretive and confusing with his emotions and motives. But still very sexy.
The sex and heat in this book is stupidly hot. The tension and chemistry is on fire, even if it's a little risky and dubious, it's still amazingly hot!!
Seize, book 2 and the continuation of Lillith and Sebastian's story. Still at full speed, still with all the secrets, and craziness. It's still mega confusing, and really hot. But the story unravelling is still so clever, I find myself in shock at how it all unravels and progresses. It really was such a clever idea.
Although to think about it seriously, the background story about Genesis is incredibly scary and possibly even true somewhere in the world, and it's pretty awful too. It still struck me as incredibly clever, and I love how much detail went in to the planning and background of this whole world. Seriously genius.
The sex and heat is off the charts again, and makes it all the more an addictive read.
The end of this story was good, and I was happy with how it ended, for all the pain and confusion, poor Lillith is put through, I felt happy with how her story ended, and felt satisfied when it finished.
Scorch, book 3 is Ashley's story. It still follows the main story, and the background as Ashley was also involved in the events that happened to Lillith back at the beginning, as she was Lillith's best friend. But it follows her path, and what happened her over the time that Lillith's story is told.
Without sounding really confusing, and I know this review must be, but there's only so much I can say without spoiling the main story, but basically Ashley is also in the mental institute, and we get to see her side of the events that take place, and how she coped throughout, and what happened when she finally got out.
Again, very twisty, INCREDIBLY confusing as it goes backwards and forwards in time again, but still very sharp, dark and gritty.
If I'm truly honest, I don't think I needed to read Ashley's story, yes it was important and I would of liked to know what happened on her side of things, but I think it would of been better as a novella story.
This story was actually really dark, and probably the darkest in the whole series, from the graphic scenes, which was great. But the parts where Ashley was in the mental Institute did drag a little for my liking, which is why a shorter novella would of been perfect, just highlighting some of the parts.
But all in all, still a great story and I really enjoyed it. Still very twisty, and very dark and sexy!!
Final thoughts on this box set, Incredibly well written, dark and twisted, confusing and nasty. The background was seriously a clever and genius concept, I almost wanted to just read more on that background, it was sheer brilliance.
The sex and relationships in this series were intense, totally unconventional and confusing, but hot and a great conclusion to all involved.
The characters are different, good different and warm on you in time.
I would definitely recommend this to dark story lovers. If you like things hot and nasty, and most definitely if you love to try and work out what's going on, a mystery which needs a clear head.

Dark, Twisted, Sexy, Dangerous and Thrilling, this complete series will blow your mind!
Its amazing how Clarissa Wild can write a dark story with so many twists and turns but so consistent at the same time, that can leave you breathless!
I'm so glad I waited to read this in a box set, because if I had read them individually and had to wait for the next book I would have died!!
This is a story of a woman who starts a in a mental institute in a state of pure confusion... almost delirious... and Sebastian, this gentleman who is sexy, a total Alpha-Male, Dom in all his glory, that will confuse you to the point you don't know if you love him or hate him!
Their journey together, with all the WTF moments, hot sexy parts and secrets that will be revealed on time, makes of this book one of the best dark reads I have ever read!

5 delicious dark stars!!!
This series is disturbing and dark. I think you need to be a lover of dark reads to appreciate this series. Sebastian in my opinion is more of a sadist and things get rough. This book goes pretty deep and is not for everyone but hell it was awesome!! It is a bit of a commitment and I recommend you take your time reading, great details and song recommendations. My favorite was the song in the forest when Lilith is running from Sebastian, oh lord that was perfect. A lot of heat, complex characters and even a couple of scenes with the awesome Mr. X. You think the story is going one way then shifts to another, it’s not just sex. The author did a great job developing the characters and I love when we get song recommendations!! Great dark read!!!

May 13, 2021At the start, I wasn't sure what to make of this mind mess of a book. I persisted and although it was very dark, Sebastian and Lillith were well matched. I have reached Ashley's story and hope the loose ends with the men will be tied up. It was a real journey that sucked you in.

This is a great book full of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a little confusing at times but one heck of an interesting storyline.

In Snare we find out more about Sebastian and Lillith, the people, but we're just given enough to satisfy our appetites , not everything is given up and this is where Clarissa's style rocks my socks. ...she gives you enough to satisfy you but not to little as to loose interest and she leaves you craving !I must warn you though there's some disturbing and dark scenes that may upset sensitive souls or it may even be a trigger for some. Sebastian makes Mr Grey look like Peter Pan and his "Red Room" is child's play compared to Sebastian's playground !
Besides being a dark delicious dominant monster Sebastian has me in puddles because of his passion for books , well , that and the fact that he's a curator , I'm ready to cuff myself and leave me to his mercy!

Sebastian is all shades of dark and delicious and his moods will leave your head and lady bits spinning ! He can go from dark to gentle in a few spanks!
Seize sheds a little more light on Sebastian's history and the "gentleman's club" he belongs to and all I can is damn there are some sick f@$/^&* out there!
Let's not forget Lillith , she seemed to loose a grip on reality at times but she also seems to dig deep and find strength and courage to cope with what has happened and what is happening at the moment .
She has a lovehate relationship with Sebastian and at this stage I get it because he "teases" her with answers to the many questions .
I felt a little emotionally drained after reading Seize but at the same time I also felt satisfied, if that makes sense lol .
I felt like some of my questions had been answered but one question still nags at me ....what about Ashley?

Revenge or rather the thought of revenge is often the catalyst for survival.
Scorch is Ashley's story and it starts off very similar to Lillith's.....Both are in a mental hospital and both have a "saviour".X or rather Mr X is Ashley's saviour and I've one clicked "Mr X" as I have to have more of him !
Scorch is a brilliant end to a f@#$&* up phenomenal series!
What a gift to have Ashley's POV and to experience things through her eyes . I did find her harder and more determined than Lillith though and she has a real madness to her , you'll either like her or not!
Again the power of the mind is proven!

This series is amazing!!! I’m absolutely in love with this series and I absolutely love Clarissa Wild, she can do no wrong in my eyes!! Great series and great boxed set!!!

Let's just start out by saying, I read each of these books separately as they came out. So you are now saved the hair pulling and swearing at your kindle at the cliffhangers.

These books also jump time sequences, they go present to past. At NO time was I confused. CW did one heck of a good job with all that.
**Also if you have read Mr.X, he makes cameo appearances in this book (you know that can't be good).**
Seek- this is the prequel- It will have you asking your self, what did I just read? Was Lillith's imagination running wild?? Was she hallucinating?? Is anything real in her mind??
Snare-book 1- In this book Lillith finally comes to terms of where she is, but she can't compute in her head why. She sets out on a mission to find Sebastian. Sebastian, she feels is the only person she need right now to comfort her.
We finally get to meet Sebastian, he's rich, cruel, and dominant of the worst kind. Or is he really? Could all his dark secrets change his and Lillith's future and help Ashley?

I love Clarissa Wild's books but this series takes her writing to a whole new level. It's beyond brilliant. This is Clarissa Wild at her very best!!!
This is a dark book series and as we are warned at the start covers some emotionally disturbing subjects but by the way it is written, what you experience is more inferred than explicit. Clarissa's writing style in this book has depth and a poignancy that is rewarding to her fans and new followers alike. Yes, this series is deep, it's dark, it's brutal but it is so brilliantly put together it's difficult to leave alone and to move on to other books which you know will be bland in comparison.
Set in a mental institution, it tells the story of Lillith and Ashley and how and why they find themselves locked away allegedly for their own safety. The twist in the story comes from Mr Sebastian Brand. Who is this mysterious stranger and what attracts him to Lillith?
I love Sebastian's character so much. He is the dark to Lillith's light and the answer to her prayers. There is a strong D/s theme running throughout this book with elements of BDSM as Sebastian tries to break Lillith down in order to put her together again. The pain experienced by Sebastian and Lillith is tangible and the lust they portray is deliciously wanton.
You need an active mind to fully appreciate this series and it's not a recommended bedtime read but what you will experience is a totally mind blowing story and a ride like no other.
So the big question is....
Is this the best book series that I've read? And the answer is... ABSOLUTELY!!!!

Dark & twisted story - a must read!!!!
SEEK - Who's more insane...Lillith or Ashley...maybe we are insane...
There is something to be said for an author who can write a prequel that makes you so confused & intrigued that you have to buy the rest of the series. I am sure that the dates at the beginning of each chapter are of some importance, however, each chapter left me with more questions than answers. Basically, this book is about Lillith & her best friend are in a mental institution after something happens to them while they are on vacation. This book will have you wondering who is more insane, Lillith or her ex-best friend. And maybe even questioning your own sanity. This prequel will definitely have wanting to read the rest of the series. So, you mind as well just go ahead and buy the box set.

Nothing will be what it seems in this book...you will have to keep reading to find out what is real. It was in this book that I fell in love with Sebastian. I just could stop reading. This book is awesome. It will have you questioning your own sanity.

What can I say??? One big WOW! This book made me think that being crazy is not so bad!!! It's sexy awesome actually!!
The box set contains 4 books, novella and 3 full length books.
The first book, Seek, tells us the story of Lilith. A girl who is in a mental institute. And let me tell you that. Even the story is shorter than the rest is so confusing. Every single detail is important. All the jumping between times. And not to mention being in a head of a mentally ill person is not helping either! The novella is not letting you get to know the characters deeply but it grips your attention and makes you want more.
The next part, Snare, is telling us the time when Lilith is out of the hospital and with the help of Sebastian she is starting to piece together the last few months of her live. Sebastian is kind of a bad and a good guy. I'm not sure which is more. One I'm sure of. He is sexy as hell!
In Seize the continuation of secrets and Their story is in full bloom. The speed, the background is just perfectly created by Clarissa. The story is written by a genius. When I finally got to know exactly when, why and so on I was so shocked, my jaw was wide open. I so did not expect any of it!!! But the ending gave me satisfaction and I was relieved that Lilith found some sort of piece.
Scorch, the last book, tells as the story of Ashley, Lilith best friend. It's hard to write a review for this part as it will spoil the rest of the books but let me tell you that: it's freaking awesome.
Overall I give this book 5 stars. The stories are so twisted and dark that nothing less feels just St not right!

Yet again Clarissa ceases to amaze me at how she writes something so dark and erotic but at the same time it’s so good to read! There is no way to not read this and not love it. Her books always suck you into the story within the first few words. So many questions are left unanswered but at the same time a lot is revealed. I loved reading this book and I am starting on the 2nd very soon! This is a must read!!

Holy crap what a ride! Just like the first book, I was instantly sucked into this book. I loved how Lilith started to stand up for herself more in this book and how she finds herself. She really does start to become the strong woman Sebastian makes her out to be. Things dramatically change in this one and I was surprised at all the things I found out about. I loved every word and I cannot wait to start book 3!

The prequel in this Series does exactly what a good prequel should do. It gives you just enough to get you intrigued and yet not enough to spoil the story. It set the pace of this dark, raw and very twisted tale while also introducing the two main characters. I really had no idea what to expect or where this story was going after reading the prequel but I did know it was going to be a complete mind fuck of a read for sure!!
I've read quite a few dark stories in the past and yet this Series shocked and scared me in equal parts and but I couldn't put it down. The characters are so damaged that you almost try not to connect with them just so you can get through the dark bits of the story.
The story takes a while to unfold with a few flashbacks and details of past events slowly trickled out, so it takes a while to fully grasp the evil that lives within the story. The sex is degrading, carnal and viciously erotic but it works within the context of the storyline. Both Sebastian & Lillith are completely crazy, damaged characters but find they need and crave something from each other that only they can provide.
Don't expect romance of any kind, love maybe, but in a twisted needy kind of way. If you love raw, dark, gritty reads that leave you feeling like you've been turned inside out and upside down then definitely give the Delirious Series a go now!

This is my first time reading books by Clarissa Wild and I'm glad that I did.
I got the Delirious series from the author in return for an honest review.
It's rare to find an author that gives serious attention to the actual plot of the story and its easy to see that in this series there are going to be twists all over the place. I'm one of those people that like to guess the ending of the story and I found that I couldn't which is both brilliant and frustrating.
At times I felt that the behaviour of the characters were a little inconsistent and I would have liked a little more depth to each character just to make me connect with them fully. I'm a big fan of dark reads and probably would have appreciated more darkness and depravity. Quite a few acts are insinuated but we don't get a full on blow by blow description.
The last book is Ashley's story and personally I think I would have preferred it to be a separate series. Ashley's tale fully warrants it's own series in truth but it felt like it was a little rushed and again lacking the description needed to have me fully hooked and hanging off every word.
An enjoyable series if you like the dark side. I have a couple of other books by the author and I will definitely be giving those ago in the very near future.

The first two books were okay, but Ashley's story was completely unbelievable and full of holes big enough to drive a big rig through. There were holes and inconsistencies in the first two, but I wasn't too frustrated by it, but wow that last one was so awful! I would have given that a 1 star and felt generous. Nothing was believable at all. And all the twists she tried to put in there made me wonder how that author could think anyone would believe them or fall for her attempts at misdirection. It made me feel like the author thinks her readers are stupid. Spoiler Alert... We are supposed to believe that she gets off scott free for hunting, torturing and killing these guys because they raped her and imprisoned her. Maybe if she had done it while escaping, but she plotted, planned, trained, hunted and tortured. No matter how much people might feel for her, there is absolutely no way she would get off scott Free. Then we have Sam who starts a fire and kills a bunch of women and he also gets off scott Free. And these were really just the icing on his 20 layer came f disaster.

Wow !! What an absolutely fan-fricking-tastic series this is !!
So many times throughout it i was questioning my own sanity due to the events that were unfolding.
This seriously was a fast, action filled journey, a journey with so many twists and turns that you won't know your ass from your elbow, left from right, up from down !
This was fantastically written and the characters, Lillith, Sebastian, Ashley, ACE and Sam were brilliantly portrayed !! I was addicted from page one right to the very end, and WHAT an ending it was !!
This is not for the faint hearted nor is it for the easily offended. Also if you're prone to nightmares or weird dreams then be prepared for the nightmares to get worse and the weird dreams to get weirder !!!

It took me a while to get into the story..It was confusing and I couldn't decide what was real and what wasn't..but the more you read the more you start to unravel and understand.
Sebastian and Lillith’s story is dark and twisted, raw and edgy.
There's mystery and all this darkness..at first at the edge, then is everywhere..
It's hot too and crazy in a way, but so intriguing!!!!
I am not going into the story cause I'd not only complicated but there are different characters and I think everyone will experience it in a different way! Also I am afraid of spoiling the story!
A great read..If you love dark and twisted that's it.

I received this box set in exchange for an honest review. Wow! This is definitely a dark read. If you want hearts and flowers don't read this series. I really liked Lillith and even Sebastian with all his faults. These books are full of darkness, danger, twists & turns, passion, anger, betrayal, mystery, and suspense. I liked each book, but the last in the series, Scorch, was my favorite. Ashley's story really drew me in and I was surprised at the end. If you like a dark read this is a great series and it's so great to read one book after the other.

Not too much to say except I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!! It's dark. It's sexy. It's edgy. Clarissa Wild drew me in to the dark side first with Mr. X. Now, she has done it again with Sebastian Brand and the Delirious Series. It also doesn't hurt that X makes an appearance.
I love that the fact even though I'm reading a book, I found myself closing my eyes like I'm watching a movie because I don't want to see what's about to happen. I know crazy, right? But I had to read on. So, if you're looking for something erotically dark, sexy and edgy, this is one for you.

This box set is a must get if you like dark romance. I was intrigued and drawn right in from the beginning. Lillith and Sebastian's story spans a lot of ups and downs. He is the Dom she needs to make sense of her wrecked world. Their story is one of complexities, damaged pasts, and getting past the pain and anguish. Lillith is in a dark place, and only Sebastian can make her whole. The deep plot twists and complicated lives of these two kept me on edge through the entire series. Don't expect to make sense of it all. It was mind blowing but so hot and so enigmatic. Loved it!.

Delirious is a deep complicated story that jumps time sequences (past & present) but DOES NOT leave you confused at any time.
This series will have you on the edge with a need to keep reading.

Clarissa is a huge reason why I'm a fan of the dark romance genre. She makes me believe that even someone with a twisted dark soul or someone whose will has been made to be broken and heart shattered so many times can find happiness despite it all. What started as brutal tale ended with a hard fought happy ever after for the best friends. One of my favorite dark series.

In this final book of the Delirious set, it did not disappoint. The strange and twisted plot only got better. The ending couldn't have been fitting. Crazy has a new name. You figure that out. Clarissa Wild can definitely take on a journey that you never expected to go. Loved reading outside my normal, normal! Book given by author in exchange for an honest review.

Mixed feelings
The story line is very interesting. Lots of screwed up stuff. I liked the books but I found myself skimming Ashley's book just really had me lost until the end but I guess that was the point. I liked Sebastian and Lillith's books much better. Overall worth the read for a very unique read.

An amazing series
This book is not what I normally read but I am glad I did. It has been a lot to take in but it certainly keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is a love story but not in the frilly way. There is a lot of darkness and edgy sides. Read it you won't be disappointed

Srrange
This was a very strange series. It wasn't just dark,
It was eary. I appreciated the writing, but I'm left with an empty feeling. I didn't expect this story to go the way it did.
It left me very unsettled. I wasn't a huge fan of this book, but as always, Ms. Wild tells an amazing tale.

I received a copy in exchange for my honest review. Let me just start off by saying OMG WOW!! Talk about an amazing set of books!! Each book had me eager for the next. I cannot believe that I waited so long to read them. Dark, twisted, sexy, and edgy!!
