A sweet Bastian. I think he is my favourite Risso son so far, and he really comes into his own in this story. And his heroine... I loved her too. She's a strong, selfless person, you can't help but love.
Such a wonderful love story. It's not often you read about a physically flawed heroine, and the author does so with effortless ease, and great sensitivity to the subject. In fact seeing her through Bastian's eyes is simply wonderful.
I read this whole series back to back, and I've loved every story so far. Looking forward to Zane's story now :-)

What can I say about this book. I thought it was awesome. You have Bastin and Eve both from different worlds but both want the same. I felt bad for Eve how she felt growing up. She was not perfect but who really is. Then you have Bastian who wants to be his self not be thrown into a life his dad wants. He wants to prove to everybody he can do it. These two people fit together in there own little world. You well fall in love with these two. Make sure you one click you won't regret.

Loved Book #3!
This was Bastian and Eve's story. Bastian has always felt out of place in his family. He prefers solitude and "slower living" versus the life that the rest of his family lives and enjoys. He meets Eve, the neighbor across the street in his new town. Eve comes with her own demons and insecurities, with physical and emotional scars from being born with a cleft pallet, and childhood surgery. She was raised in a family without love and bullied most of her life.
Bastian is drawn to her instantly and this book is their journey together. Eve has to learn to let go of some of her shields and walls she has erected, and Bastian learns patience to help her get there. I thoroughly enjoyed their story, and their scenes were touching and hot as well.
Looking forward to starting Zane's book next!

What a sweet story between Bastian and Eve, the 3rd in the series and I say sweet, but it was still one very hot story.
I loved that they started off slow, went at their own pace, but inwardly, we could see how they really lusted after one another.
Bastian just really wanted away from the city noises and Eve lives a solitary life, she hasn’t been treated well because of a small deformity. Once they open up about their dreams, nothing will stop them

Bastian has the kindest heart and the purest soul ever! He’s my favorite Risso so far... wink, wink. Zane is next and I might be swayed.
Eve is perfection, but has been told her whole life she will never be attractive enough for anyone. Well, I this beautiful story Bastian takes the time to show Eve that perfection and beauty radiate from the inside out. These two are raw, and in pure form when the finally surrender to each other open up their hearts.

Omg! This book y'all! It was so good! I loved these 2 characters and the chemistry they shared. Like always Lynn makes the characters so relatable. Eve has some issues (don't wanna give any spoilers) and I love how Bastian made her feel about them. It was amazing. I also loved Zane's appearance in this book! We got to see a softer side to him. In turn it made it to where I couldn't wait to read his book! Overall and like always, this is just another amazing book by Lynn!

Bastian and Eve's story was wonderful. She likes privacy because of her physical scars and he is just wanting to get away from his loud but loving family. The connection between them is beautiful and they both help each other out in different ways. I loved it and would love to have a print copy of this sitting on my shelves. Until then, I'll be content to read this story over and over!!

Bastian always loved his family, however, he never felt like he fit in. Like Boston was not where he belonged. When the opportunity to open a new store in the South came, he jumped on it. Even overcame a difficult childhood and deformity. Bastian sees only the woman she is, nothing more. He made her feel beautiful for the first time. She makes him feel like he is finally home.

Ugh. Bastian is so sweet and shy compared to his brothers and Eve is so closed off it took FOREVER to get to the sexy times. But man, that build up made it so hot when they finally engaged in adult activities 😁 I want to say he’s my favorite Risso family member, and he WAS until I read the next book 😉

Introverts can find love too! First, what I enjoyed about this story is Lynn so wonderfully shows how even a woman who isn't physically perfect is worthy and deserving of love. We're all flawed in some way. No one is perfect. It was sexy and sweet the way introverts Bastian and Eve got to their happily ever after. Banter and scenes between the Risso siblings is always entertaining. Looking forward to the next installment.

Bastian Risso travels to WV to open a new business and get out from beneath his large family. His neighbor has attracted his attention. Eve comes from the “wrong side of the tracks” and is sensitive about the poor repair on her cleft palate and her slight speech impediment.
Bastian finds her sexy and beautiful. She does not trust easily. I love watching these two develop a relationship. Their backstory is well developed. While the journey has some boulders in their path, this couple’s fabulous story is a great read!! The entire Risso series is a great one.

So I am sucker for these kinds of books. Eve has had some trouble in her past due to a deformity and was sadly not treated well. She choose a solitary life. As she thinks love is not meant for her. Doesn’t your heart just break for her. But wait, now Bastian, wanted an escape from his family and the city life. He has his own baggage to deal with. Bastian and Eve have such a charming and endearing romance. They in fact help each other get through their own issues. Such a great story.
