Shaïgan-sans-merci a été assassiné par ses propres hommes, Kriss de Valnor s'est suicidée, Aaricia et Louve ont également été tuées et Jolan brave une effroyable tempête. C'est alors que survient Jaax le Veilleur, envoyé d'un lointain futur pour récupérer "La Couronne d'Ogotaï", le casque d'amplification d'énergie mentale qui risque de faire dévier le destin de l'Humanité ! Pour réussir sa mission, Jaax a besoin de Jolan et ce dernier a besoin de ce voyageur temporel pour mettre fin aux malheurs qui frappent les siens.

PT O grande mérito de "Thorgal" é que não é uma obra puramente de fantasia, apesar de à primeira vista parecer. A série já teve volumes com elementos de terror, e a ficção científica está profundamente enraizada no seu mundo, impedindo que se limite a um registo exclusivamente fantástico.

Neste volume, voltamos a mergulhar em viagens no tempo.

Thorgal – ou melhor, Shaïgan, a sua versão malévola e amnésica – é assassinado muito cedo na história. O que se segue é a tentativa desesperada de Jolan para alterar o curso dos acontecimentos e impedir a morte do pai.

Um volume sólido.

EN The great thing about "Thorgal" is that it's not purely fantasy, even though it may seem that way at first glance. The series has featured volumes with horror elements, and sci-fi is deeply woven into its core world, preventing it from being confined to a strictly fantasy narrative.

In this volume, we once again delve into time travel.

Thorgal—or rather, Shaïgan, his evil, amnesiac version—is murdered very early in the story. What follows is Jolan’s desperate attempt to alter the course of history and prevent his father’s death.

A solid entry.

Wow! Po tej części już nigdy nie będziesz do końca pewny, z którym Jolanem, którym Thorgalem i którą Aaricią aktualnie masz do czynienia. Muszę to sobie jeszcze w spokoju rozrysować, ale na szybko mogę powiedzieć, że na tym etapie nie spodziewałem się już takich akrobacji. I tylko szkoda, że główny bohater taki sztywny

Qui sono Jolan e Luna a fare la parte degli eroi, mentre Thorgal è sempre privo di memoria e abbindolato da Kriss.

Come sempre abbiamo delle belle storie, anche se mi ha lasciato un po' di amaro in bocca la quest affidata da Freya a Thorgal per fargli riottenere la memoria: capisco tutto e accetto tutto, ma che vi sia riuscito in questo modo no, lo trovo troppo ridicolo.

Per il resto, bella la storia di Jolan e della sua scaltrezza nello sfruttare l'occasione propizia per andare a salvare la sua famiglia.
E bella anche la storia di Arachnea, con la piccola Luna protagonista fiabesca in una storia dal sapore e dai disegni presi dalla mitologia greca. E bella anche la reazione umanissima di Aaricia al ritorno del marito.

E rimane il dubbio di cosa possa aspettare più avanti Thorgal, visti gli ammonimenti divini ai pericoli che incontrerà sulla propria strada.

Ten komiks stał się już klasyką. Co prawda sama czytałam go będąc jeszcze gdzieś w połowie podstawówki, ale działał na wyobraźnię. Dobry scenariusz i dobre rysunki.

Je m'attendais à rien, portée par l'opinion globale qui veut que "on n'aime pas trop l'arc Shaïgan" et j'ai été stupéfiée.
Mais J'ADORE Jolan Adulte ! est-ce qu'on peut laisser Thorgal prendre sa retraite et suivre Jolan, désormais ? Il est drôle, il est audacieux, il est sexy (moi j'le trouve sexy) avec sa barbe blonde, il n'est pas pétri de ouin-ouin contrairement à son père, c'est un bonhomme qu'on a envie de connaître.

Tragédie que de lire "Thorgal est mort, Kriss s'est suicidée, Aaricia et Louve ont été massacrées en tentant de s'enfuir". Mon Dieu. Mon petit coeur. J'étais pas prête. Heureusement, Jolan n'a pas dit son dernier mot !

J'avais oublié tout cet arc de voyage dans le temps, j'ai trouvé ça très malin et cohérent.

Una storia che si intreccia seguendo paradossi temporali. Il temibile Shaigan e la sua burattinaia Kriss di Valnor sono affrontati da un “semplice” ragazzo, Jolan. Che attraversa il tempo pur di salvare la madre e la sorella.
E’ veramente stupefacente come Van Hamme sia riuscito, con questa serie, a coniugare ritmo perfetto, costruzione perfetta e idee interessanti. Fino a questo ventitreesimo volume, davvero NULLA da dire.

Kolejny z tomów Thorgala, w którym autorzy przedstawiają czytelnikowi paradoksy podróży w czasie. Niestety, nie wyszło tak kompletnie, zrozumiale i czytelnie jak we "Władcy Gór" (w tym wypadku Uroboros nie pożera własnego ogona, pierwotna anomalia czasowa pojawia się niczym deus ex machina).
Epizodyczny Thorgal i Kriss de Valinor zaliczyli jeden ze słabszych występów.
Na plus w tym tomie estetyka Strażników.

'De kroon van Ogotaï' is het vijfde deel in het narratieve continuum dat deel 17 t/m 23 in beslag neemt. Dit deel gaat puur over Jolan en is een echt sciencefictionverhaal over tijdreizen. Jolan maakt hier handig gebruik van om de dood van al zijn vrienden en verwanten terug te draaien in een ingenieus zij het hoogst onwaarschijnlijk verhaal.

We time travel again, only this time we meet Jolan's future self who takes upon himself to fight and save Aaricia and his sister from the vile Kriss of Valnor and from Thorgal himself

This does seem to have a loophole in the end when the altered timelines are corrected, but still one cannot not admire the genius of Van Hamme in this album

Another time-traveling adventure in the series. This time the traveller is Jolan who will need to bounce back and forth in time to save his father's life. The character development of Jolan is quite amusing and the highlight of the story.

Jak dla mnie to pierwszy słabszy tom Thorgala. Tragedii nie ma, ale dużo tu nudnej ekspozycji, a nawet jak zaczyna się akcja, to jest dość leniwie napisana i przewidywalna. Podróże w czasie są ciekawe, ale w tej serii trochę tego za dużo, przez co tym razem wypadają bardzo wtórnie.

Wild issue. Another time travel volume and this one is even more complex. The fleshing out of how the time travel functioned was interesting. The back and forth between the past and the present and then the changed past again was great and the ending was so very wholesome.

Przyznam, że ten album przywrócił mi wiarę, że może być jeszcze coś ciekawego do opowiedzenia w tej serii. Lubię jak Jean van Hamme bawi się czasem, może nie robi to aż takiego wrażenia jak "Władca Gór", ale daje radę. Do tego pojawiające się pęknięcia miedzy Kriss i Shaiganem-Thorgalem wraz z odpowiednim wprowadzeniem Galathorna oraz dorosłego Jolana robi tu robotę.

Nouvel album centré sur le voyage temporel, ancrant à nouveau la série dans la science-fiction. Comme toujours avec les voyages dans le temps, les paradoxes sont légions et compliquent délicieusement l'histoire (on s'y retrouve quand même, heureusement.)
