I loved this story of Devan and Kyla a wolf shifter and a coyote shifter. They must fight their own kind to be together. This is a book you will want to read.

Very short story, pacing was poor and not enough time on world building. There were so many different plot devices and everything happened too quickly, too many bad guys and why can't shifters can't recognise other shifters? The story was Told, rather than building the shifter world needed to understand the complexities of their relationship. I found it disjointed, and overdone and worst of all I didn't believe they were in love. Just OK.

A different kind of shifter romance. Wolf and Coyote who are natural enemies. In their human form they can't tell the difference and after some drinks and flirting...well the title tells all—at least the start of it all.
If a baby by two enemies is not enough, each have their own issues with family/pack and they are vicious without knowing about the baby. This is another great read with a different story to tell. The characters are fighters, not only physically but emotionally as well. They show a strength, loyalty, leadership and ability to love.
If you like a story that isn't like all the rest, you will love this one. There are enough characters to add more stories however this is a complete novella that leaves nothing lacking. The end is a bit rushed, but a good one.
Ms Valentina once again provided a good story, short story with a complete tale and characters we can love. A recommend from me.

The story moves fast. They meet in a bar and end their loneliness with a night together. They each believe the other is a human until she ends up pregnant. Shifters can not identify other shifters or get humans pregnant in this book. Having a child with another species is not their only issue. Her father wants her to mate with a shifter of his choosing. He is on the run from his brother and the pack he runs. It is a deadly combination.
Devan and Kyla are strong people who are willing to fight for what is right. They have both been running from the truth and the pregnancy forces them to take action. They are protective of their unborn child. The chemistry and that need to unite to protect pushes them together into a deeper relationship very quickly.
It is a fast moving story and a quick read. I enjoyed the story and feel like there is real opportunity to continue the storyline and see what happens with them and their pack. I received a copy in return for a honest review.

Devan was a loner hiding from his sadistic brother. When he hooks up with Kyla he knows it is only for 1 night but he can't stop thinking about her. Now they are in serious danger because of who she is. Can he keep her and the baby out of danger or will his brother and her father destroy their lives for good.
This book has a great story line and wonderful characters for any reader to enjoy. The author gave the characters very good interaction.

What happens when two different were species happen to meet at a bar and think the other is human. WEll a pregnancy is what happens. AND in this story inter-breeding is not allowed. Devan is already a lone wolf having left his pack when his brother who was an Alpha got way out of hand and began doing things he did not agree with. He left 5 year before and had been moving and hiding ever since.
Kyla is a coyote who wants to experience humans so that is why she went to the bar. She was very attracted to Devan. Neither used protection as were and humans can not breed in this book.
This book was really good and I would love to see more from this author about this pack of mixed wolf/coyote

Kyla and Devan. Their love is forbidden but when they first met and fell in love, they didn't know each others secrets. Then Kyla finds out she is pregnant and their lives become a whirlwind of crazy. Some family are on their side, but many are not. And those that aren't would rather see them dead. I wasn't crazy about the action, but it was important to the story. Generally confusing, but it would be, being a free for all. What I did like was the connection between Kyla and Devan. I could really feel their love and devotion and determination to make their future together work. The ending is more of an hfn than an hea in that there will probably still be trouble in their future. But their love is solid and there's a sweet epilogue.

Kyla went to a human bar not looking for anything special but, what she found was a hot sexy guy. After a few drinks they end up having some hot sex and later Kyla learns she is pregnant and she confronts Devan only to find out he is forbidden to her. I can't say anymore with out giving away what happens. If you want to know more you will need to read the book. I truly enjoyed this book.

Unfortunately Not up To Par
Too much left unaccounted for. Kyla and Devan story could have had so much potential, but unfortunately too much was left unaccounted for. No explanation as to what happened with either brother or her father. Sometimes I think that authors do themselves a disservice by cranking out novels without honest beta readers to help them improve. Then they receive less than stellar reviews and they complain or get offended.

This is a short fast read, characters well built, and even with a small amount of background you become invested in all of them. The main characters Devin & Kyla are strong characters and the story line very good. There are many more stories here to be told, and Ellie Valentina needs to write them!! She is a new author for me, but one I will keep reading.

Again, the baby in the title draws me in, and I was not disappointed! Mistakes happen when you can't tell the guy you are picking up in the Human bar is not Human. Until you find yourself pregnant, that is. Who wouldn't want someone who immediately puts your safety above all? Loved this book, and will be looking for more Ellie Valentina!

Half wolf
This story was excellent both wanted something that they were not getting from their pack . Kayla because her father wanted pure blood cougar and d not wanting to take on his brother. Learning that their baby could make a difference.

I really liked this story! It was unique shifter story where different species aren't supposed to mate. It had the Romeo and Juliet feel to it and if you like shifter stories and forbidden love this is the book for you

Disjointed
I like that this was a stand alone book and not a series of books, however I found that it jumped from scene to scene without a clear explanation.
It's almost like the writer did not know how to complete scenes. The story could have been better.

DNF: I got desperate when I started this. Lesson learned: don't let desperation make you turn to something like this. There's not nearly enough backstory, I don't care even a little about the characters, and to be honest I kind of hoped they'd all just decide to give up. So not worth it.

This was a good short story. I wasn't ready for it to end. I came across a mis-spelled word and one part that confused me. I figured out what it was supposed to read or what I was supposed to understand.

Loved the story. Both packs have arranged to meet at certain times to breed , they were NOT supposed to fall in love but the heart wants what it wants when neither pack allows them to be together they make plans to leave and start their own pack. Great story.

The Wolf's Forbidden Baby was a good book. Short, the story could have used more depth to give us more into how things came to work between these two and the pack they create.
