Christmas At The Hunt Hotel

Rate this book
I came to London for one thing - to get over my broken heart.

Being almost run over by a grumpy British billionaire definitely wasn’t part of the plan. Especially when I was trying to save a cat from his sports car.

But, let’s face it, when he offers me two weeks at his luxury hotel on his dime, I’m not exactly rushing to say no.

Even if Theo Hunt is annoyingly handsome. A complete workaholic. And apparently doesn’t believe in love.

That’s okay. I can keep it casual. After all, I’m going home when Christmas is over.

Except Theo seems determined to make me fall for him. He skips important meetings, plays Christmas songs for me on the hotel piano, and kisses me like he never wants to stop.

But Christmas can’t last forever. And the closer we get to goodbye, the harder it is to pretend this is just a holiday fling.

Christmas at the Hunt Hotel is a standalone festive romance featuring:

• A grumpy British billionaire from an aristocratic family
• A smart American heroine recovering from heartache
• London glittering beneath a million Christmas lights
• Forced proximity (in a luxury hotel – owned by him!)
• Emotional healing (for both of them)
• Guaranteed happy ever after

A Sweet, Feel-Good Holiday Romance

Christmas in Hunts Hotel is such a feel-good story. It has holiday romance, close proximity, a British MMC, an American FMC, and so much more.

Georgia travels to London for Christmas after her fiancé jilts her before their wedding, and she meets Theo by accident when he nearly hits her.

Theo has a lot of baggage, but when it came to Georgia, he was all in. From the beginning, he wanted her and fought for her. I also really loved how Theo took responsibility for his actions and how well he groveled when he needed to.

Georgia’s character was so beautiful to read. She felt like the calm to Theo’s storm, and I loved the balance they brought to each other.

Theo’s relationship with his friends was also beautiful, and Georgia’s friendship added another lovely layer to the story.

This is a 4.5-star read, and I recommend it.

Thank you to the author and Hambright PR for this ARC.

Christmas at the Hunt Hotel was my first Christmas read of the year. And when I read that it was based in London, I was super happy. I love Christmas, and I love London. So.. this book was the perfect combo.

The romance between Theo and Georgia was amazing. I loved those two. The hotel owning Englishman and the sweet New Yorker. This made for a perfect combo I enjoyed from start to finish. I loved the way they met, and how smitten they both were with each other. Their love was instant.. and damn cute.

The setting of Christmas in London felt magical. I love London. And I loved reading about these fun places in London.

Next to the fun romance, the amazing chemistry, and the magical London vibes.. There's a lot of family drama happening. Some moments felt a bit far fetched and thinking about how this whole book happened in two weeks is a bit unrealistic. But I had a lot of fun while reading.

If you’re a romance lover and enjoy Christmas time.. then this book is for you.

Theo and Georgia had the most cliché Christmassy meet-cute and then such a swoony, spicy and steamy romance. It was so dang cute. I loved these two so much. It was so nice to have a little Norfolk love (even if it the fictional place wasn't anywhere in reality :/ ) The spice between these two was so damn hot. It was electric and unstoppable.

I can't believe there is a year long wait to catch up with these characters :(

Thank you Carrie for an advanced copy.

CHRISTMAS AT THE HUNT HOTEL by CARRIE ELKS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Christmas At The Hunt Hotel is the first (#1) book in the A BRIT FOR CHRISTMAS series.

Theo Hunt, Billionaire hotel owner is a committed workaholic who doesn’t believe in love, but when he almost runs over a woman on the busy streets of London he is inexplicably attracted to her and determined to get to know her better.

Georgia Ingram is on the holiday of a lifetime in London when she throws herself in front of a car trying rescue a stray cat from being hit. When she later sees the driver playing piano in the hotel lobby she assumes he works there, and is astounded when she eventually discovers that Theo doesn’t just work in the hotel but actually OWNS it, and he’s offered her a two week complementary stay.

Time is short and Theo is desperate to spend as much of Georgia’s visit with her as he can, but with work commitments and his overbearing aristocratic family constantly demanding attention Theo feels split in two….

—————————————

Christmas At The Hunt Hotel is a delightful, guaranteed HEA, seasonal read. Carrie writes such emotionally charged, heartwarming, must read, romances. Her ability to dig deep into the emotional motivations of her characters is unmatched and I defy you to not get invested in them. Like the rest of us Carrie’s characters are flawed but inevitably their hearts shine through and you can’t help willing them on to their HEA.

Georgia thinks she isn’t loveable, no one has ever put her first - her father deserted her and her fiancée cheated on the eve of their wedding. She’s not impressed with Theo’s wealth rather she sees him for what he is - a lonely, closed off man. She’s funny, caring, astute.

Theo is a workaholic, duty has led him to putting his all into the family business even though they don’t appreciate him. Though he’s the spare not the heir he’s the one that’s expected to keep their business running, cover up for his family’s transgressions and not complain. He’s so busy keeping those around him happy he doesn’t have time for relationships, but when he meets Georgia he is infatuated.

The chemistry between the MCs is palpable and it inevitably leads to some tastefully written open door spicy scenes.

There are plenty of interesting side characters and the aristocratic angle was interesting. I particularly liked Theo’s friends and look forward to hearing more about them.

One of my favourite things about this story for me is the balance between the festive atmosphere and the story. The Christmas angle isn’t suffocating, it’s there and it’s cosy and warm but it isn’t overwhelming.

This book engaged me, the pages turned themselves and I read it in a day.

Carrie always writes addictive stories and she also engages delightfully with her readers on socials. Check her out!

I read an ebook version of this delightful book, with around 360 pages (paperback copy), a bright festive cover and great editing. This book releases on October 23rd.

With thanks to Carrie Elks and Hambright PR for an early read. All comments are my own honest, unbiased opinion.

Carrie delivers such a feel good Christmas, romantic novel. I loved it!

Christmas at the Hunt hotel was a perfect emotional romance book that we come to expect from this incredible author, sprinkle in some family drama, angst & secrets & you have the perfect recipe for an excellent book.
The romance between Georgia & Theo was so sweet I couldn’t put it down.

Georgia Ingram has always felt like an extra in her own life, ensuring that she fits in around everyone else. Feeling if she just tried harder or worked harder, she’d be good enough!

Georgia is planning a winter getaway from London & to escape her cheating fiancée, who also happens to be the chief financial officer where she works.
When her & her colleagues are called in for an impromptu meeting they discover that their jobs are at stake.
Her Ex fiancee of Meriden announces that there will be job losses in the new year.

Georgia is planning a much needed Christmas break in London. She’s torn between trying to fight/keep her job or getting on the plane & seeking a new adventure, putting herself first for once in her life.

Best friends Jennifer & Derrick persuade her to stick to her plans & travel to the uk. Surprising her to a night at the luxurious Hunt hotel.

Theo ~ On the board of Hunt hotel. A hotel is great great grandfather built 1890. On the edge of Covent Garden.
He’s a workaholic, constantly cleaning up his family’s mess in one way or another. He’s good making business decisions, not so much at emotional ones.

Georgia & Theo meet rather unexpectedly & quite literally nearly crash into one another.
The moment they meet, there's an undeniable spark between them.

Later that evening she spots him playing the piano in the hotel bar. She believes he’s an employee of the hotel.
He loves the fact that she not interested in him because of his name or his family history. He can truly be himself around her.

I loved watching her effortlessly disarm him. She brings out a much softer version of him, one that he feels doesn’t have to put on an act. He finds himself drawn to her warmth, authenticity & confidence.
She’s the calm his soul is desperately seeking. The more time they spend together the deeper their connection grows.

I loved every single second of this book! It felt like I was taken from my reality and dropped into the most picturesque Christmas setting.
Perfectly timed as it’s becoming colder here in the uk after our scorching summer.

I felt so immersed in the story, you could almost feel the coldness of Christmas winter in your bones. The smells, carol singer’s & Christmas music attacking your senses.
I’m now very much looking forward to spending some time in Covent Garden soaking up the atmosphere.

I can’t recommend this book highly enough for a feel good romance with a bumpy road to a HEA

𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗣𝗥

When I started to read Christmas At The Hunt Hotel was such a fun holiday romance to read! I mean, imagine getting your heart broken just two months before your wedding, escaping to London for Christmas, and somehow meeting a charming, mysterious Englishman along the way. Georgia really needed a fresh start, and I liked that her trip ended up being about more than just getting over her ex.

I really enjoyed Georgia as a character because she had so much going on when the story ended. She was dealing with heartbreak, uncertainty about her job, and trying to figure out what to do next with her life. I liked watching her slowly get some of her confidence back, especially when it came to her career. Her journey wasn't just about finding love again, and that made her character more interesting to me. She deserved a chance to focus on herself and what she wanted, too.

And then we have Theo! The mysterious Englishman who plays piano after midnight? Okay, I can see why Georgia was interested. Their first meeting was such a memorable way to bring them together, and I enjoyed the flirting and chemistry between them. But what I liked most was that Theo had more going on beneath that charming exterior. His family and all the expectations that came with it added another layer to his character, and I wanted to see how everything would work out for him and Georgia.

The London setting and Christmas atmosphere were also a big part of why I enjoyed this book. Between the Hunt Hotel, the fancy events, the shopping, and the piano scenes, it had that cozy, festive feeling I want from a holiday romance. I also appreciated the journalism storyline because Georgia getting excited about her work again gave her something of her own outside of the relationship. I love when a romance lets both characters have personal things to work through instead of making the relationship their entire world.

Overall, this was a sweet Christmas romance with a London setting, a charming English love interest, second chance, and a heroine finding her way again after heartbreak.

Thank you Carrie Elks and Hambright PR for an arc read of Christmas at the Hunt Hotel. This was a perfect holiday romance read!!

Summary:
Georgia is in London on her dream trip, hoping to get over her failed engagement during the holidays. Upon her arrival, she is nearly run over by a handsome stranger who just so happens to be the billionaire CEO of Hunt Hotel, a luxury hotel chain. Theo never stops working and is constantly on his phone, answering emails, taking calls, and putting out fires at work and with his family. But after nearly running over the beautiful blonde, he begins to shift his focus and rethink his priorities in life. But what happens when Georgia is only in London for two weeks?

Thoughts:
• A Christmas romance set in London… yes, please!! This is my first Christmas romance read, and I LOVED it!! All the others I read this season have a lot to live up to after this book.
• NYC references, too, and they’re all the places I would visit the second I arrived in the city.
• The two MCs are so lovable from the moment they meet. I love the growth they go through in this perfect holiday romance.
• Some of Theo’s family members are real pieces of work. I got so flustered with some of them and just wanted to reach into the pages and smack them.
• If you’re looking for Christmas reads, add this one to your list! It was a lot of fun!
• I always have such great memories of hotels from when I was a kid, so I really liked that the hotel played such a big part in this book.
• So many classic holiday movies were referenced, and now I’m going to watch them, starting tonight!

Thank you to Carrie Elks and Hambright PR for the advanced copy of Christmas at the Hunt Hotel; it may be Thanksgiving in Canada, but I am already in the Christmas spirit thanks to this read!

Theo and Georgia’s first meeting is so funny, and it sets a good tone for the book, so I was drawn in immediately from that moment on. I’m usually not one for insta-love, but I really found myself enjoying this story because a) insta-love works in this situation (a vacation/Christmas fling) and b) neither of them acted on their feelings right away, letting them simmer for a few days.

I liked how Georgia was determined to go on this trip to stop feeling sorry for herself and find out who she is alone, after her broken engagement. Of course she wasn’t alone for long, but that’s what the universe had planned for her, clearly. She was also naturally silly and I loved that about her.

The bump in their relationship wasn’t some ridiculous over-the-top miscommunication but some serious family drama, which was another interesting side-plot in this story. Theo’s father and brother really don’t want me to like them, and it’s working! Theo proved his feelings for her afterwards in a grand (but somewhat dangerous to his health) gesture and it all worked out in the end.

Can’t wait for Caleb’s book next, and I’m hoping it’s him and Lara! He was great support to Georgia during this story so I know he’s a good man and deserves his own happiness.

Looking for a feel-good festive read? I was, and this book arrived at just the right time. The cover and London setting caught my attention, and it didn’t take long before I was rooting for Georgia to get her HEA.

After being dumped by her fiancé just months before the big day and facing the prospect of losing her job due to staff cuts, Georgia heads to London for a much-needed break and to visit a place she has always wanted to see. A literal run-in with a grumpy billionaire turns her holiday into something that might just change her life, while also giving her plenty of material for her journalism career.

It’s hard not to root for Georgia. She’s funny, smart and has her head firmly screwed on. I loved her humorous one-liners and appreciated how she understood the British wit and sarcasm.

Theo was the perfect foil to Georgia. Beneath his grumpy exterior was a little boy lost, shaped by his upbringing and longing for someone who wanted him for himself rather than his immense wealth. He makes a few wrong turns along the way, but with a little help from his friends, he begins to figure out what really matters.

This was a charming, light-hearted festive read with likeable characters (and a few who were very easy to dislike), some humor, and the promise of romance with a HEA. If you’re looking for a cosy Christmas escape with a London backdrop, this one is well worth adding to your seasonal reading list.

Many thanks to HambrightPR for an advanced copy of this book

Oh, how I love a good holiday romance, and this one was such a lovely read! ❤️🎄

Theo and Georgia were such a fun couple, and their chemistry was absolutely fantastic! From their interactions to the undeniable attraction between them, I loved watching their relationship develop. What started as a holiday romance blossomed into something so much more, and I was absolutely here for that happily ever after! 🥰

One of the things I really appreciated about this story was that there was so much more happening than just the romance. There was plenty of drama, an engaging storyline, and a wonderful cast of interesting side characters that added depth and personality to the book. It never felt like the romance was the only thing keeping the story moving.

And while Theo and Georgia certainly didn't have the easiest road to their HEA, I loved how they navigated their challenges. Their issues weren't simply swept under the rug, and watching them come together and work through everything made their relationship feel that much more satisfying.

Overall, this was such a sweet, heartwarming holiday romance with just the right amount of drama, fantastic chemistry, and all those wonderful happily-ever-after feelings! If you're looking for a festive romance to get you into the Christmas spirit, this one is definitely worth adding to your holiday TBR! 🎁✨

Do you enjoy the holiday romance? If you do this book is for you. I stupidly thought it was a novella but no it was not. It's a great read with amazing people and a look into the royal culture. Hey I am American we do love our British drama. This is filled with it and two characters who literally fall at first site. He British her American onna Christmas holiday. What was supposed to be a one night stay into the hunt hotel turned into a two week stay courtesy of Theo the bloody Brit with let's just say amazing physical attributes. Their not so meet cute is brought to you by her running into traffic of a busy London street to save a car and theo almost running them over.
This book has a deep romance look into the useless British titles and the people around them. Most certainly the people who can betray them. Even though this book was about the American gal on her cancellation of honeymoon trip it was heavy focused on theo and his journey to break free of the royal chains and Georgias input on helping him.
It totally had all the holiday vibes with all the amazing holiday romance you expect from a Christmas read. But I can truthfully say it had much more depth.

Christmas at the Hunt Hotel
A real heartfelt Christmas read.
This had all the good feels you want in a book with just enough anticipation when things go wrong but you’re rooting for them to get their HEA.
Theo meets Georgia coincidentally as she’s arriving at his Hotel, yes Theo is a Hint from The Hunt Hotel her friends booked her in at for a night of luxury before she heads to her budget hotel.
I don’t want to spoil the storyline but let me tell you I was hooked as I always am with this author.
I felt connected to Theo and Georgia watching them develop a beautiful relationship.
I loved Theo’s two best friends and can’t wait to get their stories in the future.
Theo was such a loving caring man who grew up without much love, plenty of wealth but deprived of parental love in many ways.
I loved the fact he wasn’t pretentious, such a difference to his family.
I absolutely loved the epilogue it rounded up the story to perfection.

I do love a Christmas romance and also a fan of Carrie Elks so I knew this was going to be a good read.

This is a super cute, fun, warm hug of a story. I loved how the main characters met. Georgia escaping her recent ex after discovering his infidelity. Broken hearted and travelling alone as her friend could not make it. She literally stumbles into the path of Theo who unbeknown to her owns the glamorous hotel she is staying in for one night as a gift from her friend. Sparks fly and they get to know each other before she discovers he is super rich and from British aristocracy. No spoilers but there’s more to the story than just the romance - Georgia has her job as a journalist which is in jeopardy and Theo is battling family responsibilities which he is always relied upon to fix.
This is a lovely story and I really enjoyed reading it.

Tropes: holiday romance, billionaire, getting over an ex, meet cute.

Christmas at the Hunt Hotel is the first book in the A Brit for Christmas series, and I completely loved it! It was such a sweet, feel-good festive romance that honestly gave me Pretty Woman crossed with The Holiday vibes.

The story follows Georgia, who heads to London for a fresh start after a bleak job situation and a cheating fiancé. She nearly gets run over, and then it all kicks off. And Theo? I really loved him—I think he might have actually taken the top spot for my favorite of Carrie's MMCs. The chemistry between him and Georgia was hot, hot, hot!

What I really appreciated was the balance. It had the perfect mix between the actual story and the Christmas setting; it wasn't overly festive to the point of being cheesy, but it definitely felt like there was some Christmas magic sprinkled right through the pages. I haven't found a really good Christmas read in a while, but this one is definitely up there as one of my favorites now!

This was a feel good read! I truly enjoyed everything about this story. Theo & Georgia were wonderful characters. They meet in London where Theo lives and runs his hotel, and Georgia is spending 2 weeks there during Christmas. I wouldn't say it's love at first sight, or even lust, but there an immediate attraction. They are drawn to each other and spend a lot of time together. They have amazing chemistry that's palpable. You can easily see how they fall in love and it just felt so natural even in a short period of time. There's a bit of a situation that takes place between them and Theo has to figure out to fix it. He has amazing friends who will do anything for him and stepped in to help. I really love their friend group. Like I said, it was a feel good kind of read that will live in my head for a while.

I’m usually not a big fan of holiday romance novels, but the more I read them I find I’m “thawing out” to them, and if they’re all as good as this one I wouldn’t mind reading more.
Theo & Georgia’s book starts off with a really great meet cute, and the whole story flows on really well from there. I really enjoyed how quickly they developed feelings for one another and I was so invested in their relationship working out, because let’s be honest, they have quite a few things stacked against them.
And having said that, there are a few hiccups along the way. Some made me mad, and some had my heart in my throat. But Theo’s grovel game was on point, and I loved that for Georgia.
The epilogues really finished the book off beautifully and I can’t wait to read more from Carrie - hopefully sooner rather than later.

Thank you Hambright PR and Carrie Elks for this eARC!

This was such an adorable read!! Was it super cliché? Yes. Was it the perfect holiday romance? Absolutely!

When you think of cities that go all out with Christmas decorations, New York and London are at the top of the list, and this book makes London feel like the perfect holiday getaway!

Georgia was supposed to be getting married, but after her fiancé cheats on her and calls off the wedding, she decides to book a trip to London instead of sulking over him. There, she meets Theo, the perfect English gentleman who is almost immediately smitten with her and wants nothing more than to spoil her.

This is a super spicy (almost immediately!), feel-good holiday romance. If you love Hallmark movies but wish they had more spice, this is the perfect book!
I can't wait to read Caleb's book next year!

You'll fall for Georgia and Theo and then you'll fall even harder

Georgia's ex-fiance, and CFO at the magazine she works for, called off their late December wedding 2 months ago and now she may be losing her job after the New Year. A 2 week trip to London for Christmas is the getaway Georgia needs. The hot guy that nearly hits her with his car is an added bonus.

Theo is everything a girl could want but he is also everything to everyone else in his life. Georgia has PTSD from men in her life never putting her first.

Their relationship grows in a way that is both sweet and hot in cozy holiday London. But a trip out to the country to his family's estate takes a jaw dropping twist that has Georgia running all the way back to NYC.

Grab the tissues and settle in. You will not want to put this book down.

Sweet & Spicy Holiday Romance
A cat and/or holiday magic throw British Aristocrat Billionaire, Theo Hunt, and American Magazine Writer, Georgia Ingram, together in London during the Christmas Holidays. The attraction between them is off the charts, but their backgrounds, emotion and family duties throw them a number curve balls that threatens any chance of them being together for more than a holiday fling. Their journey to a happy-ever-after is packed with lots of feels and a number of twists and turns making for a wonderful page turner that I could not put down. The growth and healing of both these characters is heartwarming. An overall lovely read. I am highly anticipating Caleb and Lara’s story next Christmas.

Thank you for the ARC opportunity Carrie ❤️

Christmas at the Hunt Hotel is the first book in a brand new series “A Brit for Christmas”

Set between UK and New York it had all the Christmas festivities and feelings for this cozy read.

Georgia is travelling to London to get away from everything after being jilted by her ex-fiancé and meets Theo.

They are from completely different backgrounds, his family are from old money however Theo isn’t like that and it makes a change that he doesn’t want to be the same as his family.

There is a hiccup on the way but doesn’t every road to HEA have one?!

I loved the banter between Theo and his friends it added a comedy to the book which was great!

I must say the ending was one of my favourite parts along with epilogues 🎄❤️🎄

Just finished Christmas At The Hunt Hotel, and I LOVED it!

What a great storyline, Georgia and Theo is an amazing couple.
She travelled to London to get away, and ended up finding a grumpy billionaire.

When he brought her to see his family, I felt the pain over how they treated her.
And the family secret came out and allegations were made.
I had so many emotions when Caleb took her back to London, he as Theos best friend looking after her is so sweet.

When Theo came after her back to New York, he was so sweet and made her see he really was sorry for what happened before she left.

When I was reading I was thinking about Caleb and Lana, how great it would be if they had their own story.
And then I see in the end, book 2 Calebs story! So looking forward for next year to read it!

I just finished Christmas at the Hunt Hotel by Carrie Elks, and it is the ultimate cozy holiday read! If you love the grumpy billionaire trope and a festive London setting, you definitely need to add this to your list.
The story follows Georgia, an American journalist trying to rebuild her life after a bad breakup, and Theo, a workaholic billionaire who owns a luxury hotel. Their chemistry is instant and so good. I loved watching Theo break all his strict corporate rules for her—especially when he plays the lobby piano for her late at night.
It’s not just a fluffy holiday story either; both characters have actual depth and emotional baggage to work through, which made their connection feel real. It’s sweet, steamy, and left me with a huge smile.

I love Georgia & Theo!! They're from two different worlds, but work so well! They both have such awesome hearts, too. I enjoyed their dates and conversations, especially their first date. 😁

Theo is under a lot of pressure - some he puts on himself & some is due to his family. He doesn't always handle it well, but he IS good at the grovel when the need arises. And he has excellent friends who help keep him grounded. Georgia is awesome! She's funny & sweet & strong. She doesn't let ppl walk all over her & stands up for herself when needed.

And I adored the epilogues!! Their HEA is delightful, even if the path to get there includes some bumps. Oh, their path also includes some 🔥🌶🔥🌶 & 🎄🥂🎉🎊😁!

Thank you @hambright_pr and @carrie.elks for the eARC of Christmas at the Hunt Hotel.
I devoured this book in two days!
Christmas at the Hunt Hotel was such a charming and cozy holiday read! It has all the things I love in a festive romance….Christmas vibes, forced proximity, a British MMC, an American FMC, and plenty of chemistry.

After her fiancé calls off their wedding just before Christmas, Georgia heads to London hoping for a change of scenery. That’s where she unexpectedly crosses paths with Theo after a very memorable first encounter.

Theo has plenty of personal baggage, but there was never any question about how he felt about Georgia. He was completely drawn to her and wasn’t afraid to put in the effort to win her over.

Georgia was such a wonderful FMC. She brought a sense of warmth and stability to Theo’s more complicated personality, and I loved how naturally they complemented one another.

I also really enjoyed the friendships throughout the story. Theo’s bond with his friends added so much heart, while Georgia’s friendships brought another sweet and meaningful element to the book.

Overall, this was such a fun, festive, feel good romance and a perfect read for the holiday season!

A brit for Christmas book one.
Georgia Ingram on a away from it all vacation for Christmas in London, leaving everything behind in New York, her cancelled wedding and probably her job, gets to know Theo unknown at first as the owner and manager of the big Exclusive Hunt Hotel and they really hit it off and become close.
But this is only a holiday romance she has to fly back to New York, a bit of fun but saying goodbye is never going to be easy.
Oh my word, a delicious start to a new series, falling in love, but can this dynamic couple full of compassion touch all your spots, it definitely did for me, a perfect holiday read from the beginning to the ending.
Just perfect.

I thought I loved Carrie’s other books but I think this one has moved up towards the top of my list. This story is everything. If you dream of England, a sexy English man, a feisty American woman and the Christmas season this story has it all. Theo is the perfect English gentleman. Totally smitten with Georgia. Georgia is the girl just trying to live her best life for 2 weeks in England. The two of them together are like fire. If I could rate this book 10 stars I would. A job well done with this story.

Absolutely gorgeous festive read.

I LOVED this festive read. Theo and Georgia were absolutely gorgeous and I was hooked from the very first page. I loved the Christmas setting, the meet cute, the push and pull, and the British/American and aristocrat/commoner contrasts. The chemistry between the main characters was strong and the author really pulled on my emotional heartstrings. I highly recommend this and am already looking forward to book 2 in this author’s ’A Brit for Christmas’ series.

I was lucky to receive an early copy and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I loved reading this super Christmas story. Carrie Elks knows how to put together a good, sexy Christmas romance, that's for sure. This one had it all, failed wedding, holiday in London, the perfect meet-cute, some misunderstanding, and two super, sexy people. What more could you wish for at Christmas?

I read The Hunt Hotel in one go. It alternates witty banter and funny jokes with sweet moments in a wonderful recipe. I like how Georgia's strength grows through the story and how she stands up for herself when she feels treated wrongly. Theo is charming and dependable, perhaps too much so. After finishing Theo's story I really want to know about Caleb, he supported Georgia like a true friend.
