Between raising two sons, handling business, and navigating the boundaries of co-parenting, Jamison “Jay” Sullivan’s plate is already full. Love has to take a back seat, and like has to sit beside it.
But when his youngest son, who is autistic, begins attending a new school, Jay crosses paths with Jai’ana Mitchell. The beautiful, outspoken ABA teacher whose genuine love for her students immediately catches his attention.
Jai’ana is dedicated to her career and pours her heart into the students she teaches as well as the people she loves. Protecting her peace is the ultimate self-care, and she refuses to entertain anything that threatens it.
Unfortunately, Jay Sullivan has a way of making a woman reconsider her rules.
Let me start off by saying I really like where this story is going. It just felt incomplete. The book abruptly ended without the MC’s even becoming official. The same thing with Key’s book. The previous books in the series had POV’s of the other couples that at least finished their storyline, I thought this one would do the same but it didn’t, so now there’s two incomplete stories in this series. Hopefully there’s a book that updates us on where the couples are or something.

Jai and Jamison was such a cute, funny, and quick read! I always love seeing autism representation in books and I loved Baby Jay. Always love the Sullivan family. They are so silly when they get together, and their family dynamics made the story even more enjoyable. I hate when the fmc is actively pursuing the fmc but still has some strings that are not tied. So Jamison’s situation with his baby’s mother got on my nerves. He was acting so dumb and clueless, and I needed him to get it together.( He did eventually)The story did feel a little incomplete, but I know there are more books in the series to come, so I’m interested to see where things go from here. I also love how Nai randomly stops the books to talk directly to the readers lol. It’s one of those little things I look forward to in her books.
Big Jay neverrrr the lil one 😂😂😂 I love a single daddy that don’t and won’t ever play about his kid(s). I also liked how Jamison was witty & naturally flirty all while applying the necessary pressure with Jai. This was a very cute & quick read. Warning it will leave you with wanting more but it was good.
I highly recommend this book and the entire Sullivan Family series. The storytelling was on point, the characters kept me entertained, and the drama was just enough to keep me turning pages. I couldn't put it down and hated to see it end.
I especially loved how Nai highlighted autism and Jay's determination to advocate for his son. Jay and Jai were definitely made for each other. Jai had her guard up, but in true Sullivan fashion, Jay applied pressure.
Nai, you did your thing once again. I honestly don't believe there's a storyline you can't tackle. Your ability to bring these characters to life and keep readers invested speaks for itself! If you haven't read this series, what are you waiting for? Grab your copies.
So cute but a bit unfinished. Like we know Key handled business but what's to happen with baby J at the school. What about Big J and Morgan as his barber (inconsequential but I want to know). I was prepared for Big J getting full custody with India getting weekend visitation, every other holiday and summers. But we gets nada.
The one thing I couldn't get behind is Nai jumping in to say no condoms EVER, like is you cool 😅.
Yea, she was asking for that because when it come to Baby Jay and his education, don’t let it come to Baby Jay and his education! I was cheesing this whole book 🥰. Jamison is definitely my favorite male Sullivan. Honestly, if u wanna give us another book for Jay and Jai’, I’m here for it lol. I am excited about Amill though 😌. Another hit Fine Gworl!!!! Keep the work coming!
Nai, this Sullivan was the calmest to date. I hope we get some more of them cause I didn't get enough of these two. I think he handled his son so powerful. I think everyone with a child that's different should take lessons from him. I love the openness of Jai it was just a good read for me I can't wait to see whose next🤗🤗🤗
Listennnnnnn ‼️ I love a good messy READ and babbbyyyy you GAVE WHAT NEEDED TO BE GIVENNNNNN!!! The barber shop scene with Morgan and Jai 🤏🏽🤏🏽 you DID THAT I was like ohhhhh shit its about to be GOODDDD!! Then India had try and mess it up 🙄😒🙄 Im glad Key was on stand by!! But NAI‼️‼️‼️ I NEED MORE‼️‼️
I really enjoyed Jay and Jai….Jay was an amazing father and his kids were his top priority. Jai was a great teacher that put her students’ needs first. I enjoyed their journey to a friendship and the flow into their relationship. Their friendship was refreshing and I’m not even upset that their relationship was at the end because normally I would be lol
Jamison & Jai’ana had crazy chemistry. & Ms. Jai was one of the strongest women, because I would have folded after the first encounter. lol Big Jay, is charming, sexy, funny, & as confident as the rest of them Sullivans. Him being on the lower end of crazy scale surprised me. lol Him being a gentleman and an active father was so attractive.
That takes care of his churrin That steps up for his sons That is family oriented That can take criticism and correction 💪🏾 And a woman who stands on BIZNESS 👠🥿👡👢 Who didn’t let the ruin of relationships deter her from accepting love… Who love the kids 🥰 Now I gotta read some more to see how this party went lol
Big Jay and Little Jay… I just love them. Glad Jamison finally cut India off. Jai’Ana came in with her curves and love for our little superheroes and had Big Jay changing up. Love the Sullivan family. Can’t wait for Amil!
Only you can give more and it feels like it ain’t enough!! Jamison is such a grown ass man My Goodness!!! I really enjoyed the hell out of this series and family. I cant wait for the next book and maybe a lil Holiday Novella update*Wink Wink*
Ohhhh, this was so good! I can never get enough of the Sullivans!!!! I loved Jamison and Jai’ana together. They were exactly what each other needed, and I loved that they both knew what they wanted. Their connection had me smiling the whole way through!
