Rate this book
Michael, an Amish widower, finds himself yearning for companionship in the wake of his wife's passing. Selma, with her kind demeanor and understanding nature, seems like the perfect remedy to his loneliness. Yet, not everyone is ready to see Michael move on so quickly, especially some of his family members who are still grappling with the loss.

Selma, carrying her own set of issues, is deeply troubled by the thought of causing any unhappiness in Michael’s family. The last thing she wants is to be a source of discord.

Can they overcome the obstacles and familial concerns to build a future together, or will the shadows of the past prove too overwhelming?

The Amish Brides Complete Series (of 5 books) covers love in all ages and stages of life. Amish Seconds Loves is a story of love developing in widowhood and widowerhood. Second chances at love! Everyone deserves happiness in later life, but will they get past the distaste his sons have for his dating and "replacing" all their memories of their beloved mother? Is this hurdle just too big? Will it cause a family rift? I received a copy of this book.

A love story.

This was a true love story throughout the whole book. It was very well written. It showed how the family changed their feelings.
