Part 1 Tempted Part 2 Craved Have you ever been tempted by something or someone you know you shouldn't have? Craved something so much, it overtakes every thought? I have. I've recently moved in with my father and his new family. My father who I once saw as my hero, is now a stranger. It's been seven years since I last saw him, if it wasn't for my mother getting her new promotion, and me finishing senior year, I wouldn't be here. The worst part is his new wife, my stepmother. She is warm and friendly and I hate that I like her, but it's her son, my stepbrother Aidan who I can't stand. He's a cocky a**hole who has found a new pleasure to get under my skin. At school people treat him like he's some kind of God, women throw themselves at him, as the guys kiss his ass. Yes he has a delicious body you just want to lick all over, live out every dirty fantasy, but his attitude stinks. He pretends we don't live under the same roof, pretends I'm a complete stranger around others. I hate him so much, hate how he teases me in front of his friends, throws himself into my personal space, yet my traitorous body reacts to him. I want him to touch me, feel me, taste me. Have him control my body, even though I know it's wrong, it makes me crave him to want me more. I'm here for six months, surely I can handle six months living with him. Right? New adult contemporary romance with mature content. Recommended for 17+ due to mature language and adult situations. Warning ends with a cliffhanger.

Soooo many sex scenes with different ow that I lost count! This guy was disgusting that he had so many ow even after meeting heroine and having feelings for her, the guy just couldn't keep it in his pants! The worst though was just towards the end when he had descriptive sex with one women and heroine heard and then later just towards the end he had sex with another woman. Yuck! This was no hero but a sex crazed loser. Will I read the sequel? HELL NO!!!

Tempted: A Stepbrother Romance
By: J.L. Ostle

This story had so much potential! I was so excited when I first read the synopsis because I really enjoy a good stepbrother/forbidden romance. It was like that moment when you are going through book after book after book and just saying... "hmmm, that sounds interesting, but not my mood at present so I'll just save it for later so I don't forget its there" (btw, I have probably no joke 30 books like this just sitting as samples on my kindle for when the mood strikes me to read them). Then I saw this one and was like "YES, That's the ticket!" I'm rambling again... we've talked about this brain!
ANYWAYS....
BACK to the book...
So Kacey, our heroine, has a mother who is relocating for work and she is sent to go live with her father for the her senior year of highschool. She reconnects with her father and turns out to really like her stepmother and life seems to be Aces. Enter Aiden... Highschool bicycle (given every girl a nice long ride 'eyebrow waggles'), teenage bad boy, all around Hottie McHottstuff, and unfortunately Kacey's new stepbrother.
Sparks fly upon their first meeting and continue through the book as they navigate through their mutual lustyness for each other. They both are attracted to one another, however, the way that Aiden decides to deal with this attraction is to be a real DICKHEAD! He knows it is wrong to feel this way about his new stepsister and instead of just being a normal person and resisting temptation by using normal impulse control, he decides to start rumors about her sexlife and bully her.
I have to hand it to Kacey though, she didn't just take that s**t laying down! She gave as good as she got.

Kacey is in her senior year of High School with six months before she graduates. Circumstances beyond her control, she is shipped off to her father's house to finish school there. This in itself would be hard, exams in a new school and all, but she hasn't spoken to her dad in 6 years, let alone met his new wife and son. She is literally speechless when she meets Aiden - the step brother. It's an instant attraction for both of them.

The best way to counteract his attraction to his step sister - is to be the annoying step brother and pester her so that she won't look at him with lust in her eyes. This only works for a short time, but in between, Kacey goes through an ordeal that brings out the best of Aidan. He is totally supportive and protective of her.

On the whole, I enjoyed this story line. I am always happy to read a step brother romance. Although, there were parts of this book that had me shaking my head. This story needed more depth and growth to make it a great book. I know it was set in a high school, but the whole thing lacked maturity. For example, if you are going to add a court scene, you need to research about it, to know the terms and procedures, otherwise it feels inaccurate to those that do know.

There is a cliffhanger at the end, and it won't be until Fall 2016 before there will be any resolution.

OMG.....Omg... Where do I start.. This book is amazing. JL Ostle has done an amazing job on this book.. The writing style, how the characters are created, the story everything is perfect. I do know that some people do shy away from taboo topics such as this. Stepbrother and stepsister. But this book its the far best book I have read with this topic. I loved how the characters develop their feelings for one another, the chemistry between them, watching their relationship blossom is quite amazing. I loved the twists in the story and how the situation was felt with. I even loved the tear jerking moments in the story and defo has a few escaping tears.. I was at the edge of my seat towards the end.. I was glued to the book and had to finish it in one take.. I had to know.. But looks like I have to wait for more... Overall this is fricking amazing book.. You need to read this.. So glad I did... Thank you JL Ostle for creating this book...

“She straddles my lap, grinding herself against me not caring that the driver can see everything that is happening in his back seat. I feel even more turned on. I quickly pay the driver and he winks at me, but I don’t acknowledge him. I grab her hand and we stumble over each other in the dark trying to get to my room.”

5 super sexy stars!!! This book was hot from the start!! Great story and great characters. I know a lot of people think that the whole stepbrother thing is over, but I love it!!

Have you ever been tempted by something or someone you know you shouldn't have? Craved something so much, it overtakes every thought? I have.

I’m not going to give too much away so I will keep my review short! I fell in love with Aidan, he’s super sexy and of course he’s a cocky jerk, but that’s why I fell in love!! As much as you want to hate him you can’t help but fall for his sexy ways. The love story is so angsty and sexy, I loved it!!! Great book!!!

This was the story of Kacey, who moves in with her estranged father and his new wife for 6 months when her mother has a job opportunity. Kacey's step mother has a son Kacey's age named Aidan. Aidan and Kacey have an instant attraction to each other and this story tells of how they try to fight it because they are stepsiblings.

Kacey initially came across as a sweet girl and I often felt sorry for her with the way Aidan and other characters in the book treat her. But there were moments that she showed a different side of her that was strong and a fighter. I really liked that side of her.
Aidan however was completely unlikable for me. Even his few moments of supportiveness and compassion for Kacey couldn't erase all his negative qualities. He often bragged about how he'd slept with every girl at school. He's a huge jerk to Kacey all with the excuse of trying to avoid crossing the line and keeping her at arms length. He claims to have feelings for her but he refers to her as a b***h on a regular basis. Even if it's only in his mind, I didn't like how often he referred to her that way just for giving him a taste of his own medicine.

In the end I didn't want them together and I wanted better for Kacey. However the book was able to hold my attention and was fairly entertaining. I am interested to see what will happen next and if Aidan will grow up any in the next book.

Kacey has to move in with her father and his new family. Her mother is going away for work and since she is still in high school, this seems the best solution. She has not seen her father in 6 years so it is a bit of an adjustment. She likes her new step-mother. Her new step-brother is another issue of its own.

Aidan is a popular guy at school and does all sports and women. Kacey and Aidan are attracted to one another right off the bat. Only his friends are egging him on to tease her like a baby sister so he won't acknowledge the physical attraction that overwhelms them. This puts him at odds with Kacey.

Kacey, makes a friend at school. The other girls shun her since Aidan does. They all think she is either not worth it or competition for his affections. He is constantly hurting her somehow.

Aidan has a friend Ryder, who competes with him for just about all things. Kacey agrees to go to a party with Ryder, since she is being treated so poorly by Aidan. This brings about a whole slew of other issues that eventually bring Adian and Kacey closer.

Such an amazing book! I found the story very compelling. The characters are honest, and I mean very honest.

Another cheater storyline...spoilers beware

The storyline was full of angst. I couldn't stand Aiden. At first he was a nice guy then he became a bully towards Kacey. It was pretty brutal to a point that I hated him. After that Iost interest on the book. Some books can pull it off where the h bully the heroine but it was done in a way that it flowed/worked. The bullying was gross.. worst part Kacey was a pathetic person for letting it go. Just when there was some sort of romance Aiden screw some girl in her own home. I felt like this was the same plot as the author other rock star book with cheating. Couldn't connect with the characters. I just flipped through the pages. I give this one star since the author does have the talent in showing instead of telling the characters emotions. If you don't mind reading about bullying to a point of being abusive and the h being a cheater, you would like this book. I think the author needs to move e away from using cheating as the means to put distance between the h & h. I won't be reading book 2.

High school senior Kasey is headed to spend the last 6 months of school at her fathers house, the father she really hasn't had much communication with since her parents divorce. He's now remarried with a stepson Kasey's age.

Upon meeting both are drawn to each other.
Aiden at times I wanted to punch. As seniors they are old enough to realize that rumors and teasing are just plain childish but he takes Nick's advice seeing this as the only way to keep his distance.
That bugged me a bit, his need to embarrass and possibly traumatize Kasey all because he can't handle himself.

Kasey and Aiden were both likeable characters, she's not as strong as I usually like my heroines but she wasn't a whiner all through the book either so I can't dislike her.
Aiden was the typical jerk with a soft side, getting to the real him just took awhile.

All in all I enjoyed Tempted but would have preferred a little more in the end, I do look forward to Nick's story, hopefully he grows up a bit!

Holy Hotness I need More!!! This is the first book i have read by J.L. Ostle and freaking loved the hell out of it. I was hooked from the beginning! Kacey after not seeing her father for quite a few years has to move in with him since her mother got a promotion at work and will be doing a lot of traveling. It is Kasey's senior year of high school so for 6 months shes living with her father and his new wife. Aiden is Kacey's stepbrother and although I love him now I so wanted to smack him or punch him quite a few times for some of the crap he said and did to Kacey!

The twists that are in this book will keep you glued to your seat and wanting more.

WARNING there is a cliffhanger. Kacey and Aidens story does not end here... at least i hope it doesnt lol. There is another book to see what happens... I need it now!!!

I received a ARC of this book for my honest review.

This book is awesome. I love Jenna's style of writing. She can write about anything & I would love it. She's by far on of my favorite authors.

Kacey has to spend the rest of her senior year with her father. She's skeptical about it because she hasn't really seen him since her parents split up. When she arrives she meets her step mother & step brother Aiden. Quickly she realizes her step brother is HOT & that she has a connection with him. They both know it but it takes awhile to figure out. There are people who get in the way. Can Aiden make Jacey realize he loves her before it's too late.

This book will make you wanna lick your kindle...

I received this Arc for an Honest Review.

Kacey is hating going to live with her father in her senior year of High School, But what happens when Aiden walks in? Everything Changes. He is her stepbrother and holy Hot. But he is that her step brother and he can be a bit of dick. But you do fall in love with him. Is this wrong or what? They aren't blood. How can she control her feelings for him?

Aiden is in the same position. She is Gorgeous and his step sister. What will These two do? My favorite from both Kacey: The Man in front of me makes my heart flutter, Aiden: The Woman in front of me has all the right curves.

I have read all of Jenna's Books and this one i really enjoyed.. Looking forward to book 2

I absolutely loved this book. When Kacey's mom gets a new job, she goes to live with the father she hasn't seen in years. She's suppose to be there for 6 months. From the first moment that she lays eyes on her step-brother, Adain, she feels things for him she shouldn't. Adain feels them too but tries to distance himself from her and his growing desire for her.
I can't wait for the next book in the series.

So, I did really like it. It's intense, kind of toxic and quite spicy. BUT I also have some issues with the book. Because quite a lot of it doesn't really make sense. The behaviour of both kids. But mostly Aidan. *There are going to be some now*
Because why the effing god does he cheat. I mean I get it, he's mad and all. But that is never a reason to cheat. I know personally that I despise cheating in books as much as in real life. So this was kind of a big issue with me. As was the lack of remorse, I thought, he had over it.
But their relationship? Well it's intense. And I love that. It's been a while since I read tempted. But I'm kind of tempted to read it again now.
Wow okay that was lame.
Anyways this book has sex guys, and it's forbidden. Cause they're stepsiblings. So, what more could you want? Although to warn you, he is kind of a dick at first.

Good in theory and had a lot of potential. Started out strong but the writing style changed and wasn't as polished.
The flip flopping of Aiden's moods wouldn't have been as jarring if it were written differently. They were there for dramatic effect which was fine, but I wasn't a fan of the execution.
Then the re-inclusion of certain secondary characters just didn't fit. It needed to be smoothed in better. Ryan could have played a better role if he remained a constant from his first appearance rather than disappearing until the end.

I HAVE TO SAY I WAS A BIT DUBIOUS OF READING THIS BOOK BECAUSE OF THE TITLE BUT IT IS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER STEPBROTHER ROMANCE I HAVE READ. I HAVE TO SAY I WANTED TO SLAP AIDEN THE BACK OF THE HEAD A FEW TIMES AND SAY GROW UP BUT I UNDERSTAND IT HELPED THE STORYLINE. WELL WRITTEN AND A GOOD CHARACTER HISTORY. THE ENDING I DIDNT SEE COMING AND CAN'T WAIT TO GRAB BOOK 2
