One thing that I can say with certainty is that I loved this book! This book was packed with action, romance, passion, suspense, basically everything you could ever wish for! I am soooo happy that I received all 4 parts of this book at once because I found myself at the end of each book and kept trying to turn the page for more.

Overall great book probably my favorite in the whole Dark King series. This book is being sold in 4 parts for 1.99 each on Kindle Amazon and also 1 whole book for 7.99 for your reading pleasure.

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review

This is the second part of the series and things pick up just where part 1 left off. Rhi is still hiding from the world in slumber, Con and Ulrik are still hiding secrets that everyone wants to know and Darius and Sophie are finally opening up about their feelings in and out of the bedroom....but will it be enough to keep their romance going? Read and find out!

Loved it and highly recommend it!

We rejoin Darius, Sophie, Ulrik, Rhi, and the others in part 2 of Smoldering Hunger. Darius knows what can happen when you lose it all. Why he's on team Con, Ulrik doesn't know but getting Sophie on his team is all that matters. For Darius getting involved isn't something he wants, but his need for Sophie shoves all of that aside. He needs to keep her safe and if that means going against Con, he'll do it. But what is with Ulrik and Con?

Rhi is still asleep but is it by her own choice? She's lost a lot too and things arent' getting better for her. She is so full of love and happiness but after the loss of the love of her life when will she get the chance to move on and be happy, be loved?

Con is deceiving them all. He knows having humans as mates is a huge risk, but rather than say anything and being honest with the Kings about his fears and concerns; he's creating discord among them all. Secrets, lies, and affairs with the Light Queen. All of it is coming to head but when will that be?

Darius has taken Con’s orders and used them as an excuse to stop resisting his need to be with Sophia. As they get closer, Darius tries to figure out Ulrik’s plans for Sophia and how he can stop him.

This part picks up right where the first part left off. In this one, we see Darius and Sophia get to know each other a little more outside of just the bed. It was interesting to see a bit into Darius’s pain as being around Sophia opens more of it up. I can’t wait for the third part! I highly recommend.

After reading the first part of Smouldering Hunger I couldn't wait to read part two and started to read it immediately after finishing the first book. As always the pace of the book is spot on and the plot moves really well giving you just enough information but still leaving you guessing and wanting to know more - really looking forward to the third part!
