Dear Future Husband

Rate this book
Navy Hayes had done everything right so far in her life.

She was a dependable loving daughter, the ride-or-die sister, best friend, and a successful business owner who knew how to set a goal and accomplish it out the gate. But there was one title she hadn’t claimed yet—wife—and it was the one title she wanted the most.

Navy did what she always did when she wanted she made a plan, and she made a promise to God. She was done sitting on the sidelines as a spectator and not a participant. It was time for her to date with intention, a lot of faith, and a dash of courage. To keep herself accountable, she started a video diary so she could document every awkward date, every disaster, and even the heartbreak.

There was just one problem. Navy forgot to click the option ‘private.’

Overnight, Navy’s deeply personal and private journey went viral and turned her love life into water cooler conversation. Now thousands of strangers were watching, commenting, and rooting for and against her, as she navigated disastrous dates, unexpected connections, and the pressure of finding the one in front of the world.

Will Navy find her husband in the midst of chaos? Or will she discover that the life she was planning isn’t the one she was meant to live?

The story was so much fun. The MFC was hilariously cute. Talking to a spider... and the MMC was swoony handsome with a big heart. Together the pair was mushy sweetness.

This story reads like a rom‑com that sneaks up on you with heart, humor, and a little holy‑ghost‑guided chaos. 😂

Navy is a woman who’s doing everything “right,” building her business, minding her own joy, and then suddenly life flips the table on her. The whole “private documentation that wasn’t private” twist caused me to gasp. 😲 Overnight virality, unwanted attention, and then the parade of men who absolutely should’ve stayed hidden, was hilarious, but also painfully relatable.

And then that moment when a real one walks into her shop? After all the trash she sifted through, it feels like a breath of fresh air. God is answering her prayers giving the story that warm, hopeful glow that makes you root for her from page one.

Navy is the kind of character that people fall for instantly: quirky, sweet, vulnerable, and genuinely trying. Her letters were the emotional backbone of the story made it more heartfelt. Adorable read. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Dear Future Husband

What a wonderfully, well-written book! I enjoyed it so much. Dating can be daunting at best, and you definitely meet a lot of frogs before you get to the Prince. Navy's video diary was genius. I kept thinking why didn't I think of that. She was a trooper also. She went on the bad dates with an opener mind. It gave her insight in what not to look for in her future husband.

However, God had other plans. Micah walked into her coffee shop, and he knew instantly that she was who God chose for him. I love how they didn't rush, but took the time to get to know one another. Micah was lacking in love and a champion because of his parents, but Navy stood ten toes down for him.

This book is so good. I may need to start a video diary to find my future husband.

Absolutely Wonderful and relatable!!

Ok I must say Dee LaSure has quickly become one of must read authors. I loved the series and Dear Future Husband sealed the deal. I literally laughed, teared up and smiled the whole time. I did not want to stop reading but sleep won so I had to break it up into 2 days, but it was so worth it. Just read it!!
