God Has a Waiting Room: It's how we respond during the wait

Rate this book
When God speaks to us a promise, but we do not see some type of outward sign immediately, we give up during the waiting period and without realizing it, release our miracle. It’s in the waiting room that God teaches us how to respond to an unseen world, through works of faith, until our promises become manifest in the physical realm. God’s waiting room is not a room with soft music playing or a television entertaining you with The Price is Right, but it’s a place where spiritual treasures are released to those who have been given a promise from God – and are waiting. This book is for the child of God who, like Mary and Martha, secretly questions in the midst of their dying circumstance, “Where is Jesus now?” as they sat in God’s waiting room for three days staring at a dead corpse. It’s for those of you who have loved God through great disappointment and trusted Him when you could not understand. It all depends on how we respond during the wait.

EXCELLENT. I needed this reminder. My faith was built up. I was encouraged and challenged. My heart is full. Mahaney's testimony at the end was so powerful and necessary. I will share this book with friends.

I don’t think I’ve read a book that has impacted me so intensely as this one has. I am in my own waiting room and my faith has abounded with the knowledge I’ve gained from this. I pray everyone gets a chance to read this book at least once.

A pretty good book. Many good points are made and developed. It is a bit repetitive though.

Thoroughly Rich Reading!

This is the second book I've read by Kim Haney. I have a lot of books on my bookshelves and 'God Has A Waiting Room' is by far the best book I've ever read on faith and how to "live for God" when God is silent.

What more can be said? You can sense this writer put her everything into producing this work. One element of the book that stands out is Kim's raw honesty in sharing her own personal struggles (as she's done in her other writings) during her wait for answered prayer and her sensitivity to graciously identify misperceptions and construded ideals about faith and blessings that can hinder us from becoming all that God wants us to be.

So much more can be said. This book is written from the heart of someone who has walked through the valley and has come out the other side grasping the golden treasure that can only be mined from the heart of The King - Jesus.

edit: reading this again and I'm amazed at how many wise nuggets this book gives in whatever situation you go through. It really is a must-read for everyone and every year.

Wow!

I needed this book. Dealing with the year that I've had, I didn't realize I'd need some of the amazing nuggets of truth found in this beautiful book. This is definitely a must-read for anyone and everyone going through a waiting period.

Truly inspiring

So many questions about faith were answered for me. My walk with the Lord grew exponentially. Thank you Jesus for giving these anointed words to sister Kim.
