The book is divided in two parts: 1) the main book text and 2) excerpts from various texts written or spoken by which are interspersed between the main book text as "Readings."
I am not sure how historically accurate this book is though I would not be surprised if it focused too much on Laurel's "heroism" and ignore his shortcomings, if any. (Just to get it out there, this book tackled his being a Japanese collaborationist and the justification why this should not be classified as treason. I think it is reasonable to agree that what he did might not be an "action star" heroism but with everything considered, he did what he thinks is best for the Filipino.)
