⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 FREAKING STARS! 🖤📚

Remember Me by A.V. Donaldson & Ivy Blackwell

When I tell you these two ladies know how to put me through some emotional DAMAGE!!!

There isn’t a story these women write that doesn’t leave me feeling some kind of emotional wreckage, and Remember Me was no damn exception!

This story had it ALL!! The trauma, the heartbreak, the fear, the betrayal, the vulnerability, and those moments that make you want to reach through the pages and hug a character while simultaneously wanting to fight somebody!

Allison’s journey had me feeling so many different emotions. Imagine having your entire world turned upside down by someone you trusted and then having to figure out how to survive while carrying that kind of trauma. BABY!!! My heart was NOT prepared!

What I absolutely loved was how this story wasn’t just about what happened to Allison. It was about survival, trust, healing, and finding a sense of safety when your world has completely fallen apart.

And can we talk about how these authors know exactly how to grab your emotions, drag them through the damn trenches, and somehow make you THANK THEM FOR IT?!

Five freaking stars because I was emotionally invested, emotionally exhausted, and STILL wanted more!

A.V. Donaldson and Ivy Blackwell, LADIES!!! I’m going to need y’all to start paying for my therapy at this point! 😂🖤

Deception, Trauma, Hidden Danger, and the Road to Hope Fuel This Slow-Burn Thriller.

Remember Me by AV Donaldson and Ivy Blackwell made me feel so many different emotions. The story opens with Allison waking up and remembering how she was forcibly ejected into a nightmare scenario by someone she trusted. Instead of turning to authorities, she decides to stay completely off the radar and seeks shelter with a quiet stranger while she tries to process her trauma.

Charlie, her protector, is dealing with his own heavy grief. Their quiet attraction may be simmering below the surface, but it is sweet, honest, palpable, and promising.

Donaldson and Blackwell really know how to build a slow burn, and watching Allison and Charlie’s connection grow while serious danger lurks around every corner was the best part of the book for me.

The Unseasonable Series curated by John Randall makes for such a unique reading experience. Remember Me is the perfect choice if you love a romantic do-over story mixed with breathless suspense!

Such a beautifully written story about a woman who loses everything in one terrible night. Will she find happiness and love or will she just bring more tragedy to others.

This book gave me feelings I wasn't expecting or prepared for.

The Unseasonable collection is so good, giving us a different side of the writing of thriller writers we know and love.

This was a great story starting off with trauma but leading to so much more than that. This is a definite palette cleanser and it was so good! I’ve read two of the books out of this series and they’re both amazing with very talented authors. Don’t miss this one! It’s not all dark!

First, a huge thank you to you two amazing humans for allowing me to read this deliciously twisted little gem!

Well, bloody hell. THAT ENDING!
This story didn’t just surprise me. It practically exploded in my face, laughed at my stupidity. And apparently, my disturbed little mind absolutely loves that.

Short, fast-paced, and disturbingly easy to get comfortable in. Which probably says more about me than I’d like to admit.

Death? Check. Secrets? Plenty. Manipulation? Oh, darling. Friendships that could make anyone jealous, feelings that haven’t quite figured out where they belong, and just enough heartache to remind you that sometimes people get caught up in a situation nobody expected, with one carrying a past sad enough to make anyone cry, but not so much that it overwhelms the storys.

What’s not to love?!
I was hooked from beginning to end, and genuinely sad to leave this beautifully messed-up little world behind.

Now, I’d better shut my literary trap before my inner spoiler gremlin escapes and ruins everyone’s reading experience. Nobody needs that little bastard running loose.

Why should you read this? Because sometimes you don’t need 400 pages, seventeen unnecessary plot twists, or a degree in psychological gymnastics to get completely sucked into a story. Sometimes all you need is a perfectly wicked little tale that grabs you, messes with your emotions, and delivers one hell of a final slap.

Five karma-is-a-bitch stars from me!
Because any book that makes me forget actual food exists for an entire hour deserves every damn one of them.

Trust me. Squeeze this little menace into your TBR. You can thank me later. Or blame me. I’m comfortable with either.

WHAT AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER!! A.V. and Ivy know how to grab you and not let you go. They invest into it all, heartbreak, anger, betrayal, hioe, frustration, deception, and more.
Allison wakes up and is thrown into turmoil knowing someone she loved dearly deceived her and she isnt too sure what to do. She then finds Charlie who OMG you could feel his pain and suffering and yet joy through his experience of becoming a widowed single father to twins. You just wanted to Teleport through the pages and hug this man.
So many emotions but these two woman know exactly how and when to pull each one without missing a beat.

Remember Me is a great reminder that we really truly do not always know the people in our lives. Allison is put through the ringer in this book.

AV and Ivy never disappoint. The raw emotions shown throughout this story are so pivotal and they did an excellent job working together.

Good romantic suspense novella. I loved the characters and even though it's a bit of a happily ever after situation I still really enjoyed the story. (Not usually my kind of book.)
