Taiver lived a simple but happy life as he studied under his mother to become a healer. But when nobles came to his village for tribute, he offered himself up to protect his family. Now a branded and degraded slave, Taiver must win the affections of his cold and aloof owner before he is discarded.

He must please his Master as if his life depended on it, because it does.

A good read
Taiver and his sister are returning from fish when they walk in on Lord Aric on horseback picking a girl to take back with him. And of course he picks his sister but Taiver will do anything to protect his family so asks to take her place. He knows what will happen to him. Aric agrees and puts him on the back of his horse. But when the time comes to it, he gets scared and try's to run away but Aric needs to put him in his place but it is a valuable lesson to learn and Taiver try's his best to make sure to please Aric and keep him happy.
I really enjoyed this short story and the word unreplaceable sent a shiver down my spine. Such a good read.

A couple of points to note about this story:
1. It is really short (like read in ~30 minutes short)
2. This is actual Master/Slave relationship (not the BDSM style, actually buying another person)
3. The "romance" is almost more Stockholm Syndrome

Taiver sacrifices himself as a sex slave to save his sister. But can he embrace his new life or will he make everything worse by fighting? Although the dynamics between Aric and Taiver are clearly unbalanced, I do think they had a connection once Taiver stopped fighting. I actually wish this one had been a bit longer, I would have liked to see a bit more of their story.

The books in this series all have a lot in common. Here we meet Aric and Taiver, king and slave. The severe actions continue in this story yet they always lead to an understanding and ultimately affection. I do like how brother sacrifices himself for his sister, quite chivalrous. The main characters, though they begin with a dislike for one another, it doesn’t take long for the wind to change and an affection replaces animosity. After the battle is won our heroes find their own HEA. An enjoyable story with lots of action.

Taiver agreed to take the place of his sister. Aric has taken Taiver to be his sex slave and needs to understand his place. When he disobeys and runs he is tied up and does not like it. In the morning when he is released he learns to listen and do what he is told. Raymor asks Taiver to make some healing salve and when they stop for the night Taiver gives it to Raymor. Taiver feels threatened by Ny, but he shouldn't. When they finally get to where they are going what ill happen to Taiver? Will the battle end in a victory or loss? What will happen with Taiver if Aric is killed?

I started this book today and I did not put it down until I finished it. OMG. This story is hot. Characters were so well written and the plot is exciting. This author has a way with drawing you into her dirty stories, making you all hot and bothered. You definitely need to buy this book and read it soon!! You will not be sorry.

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

I've read several books written by Kayci Morgan; she has done an excellent job at writing a good short story; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the characters.

This was definitely my favorite of all of the books in this series. I found that I empathized with both main characters and wanted them to find their HEA. I liked that Taiver sacrificed himself for his sister, but didn't realize exactly what he was in for. I liked that Aric understood Taiver, but still punished him for his disobedience. Ultimately I loved that these two characters found peace and passion with each other.

This is the fourth book in the series. And I have to say I like this one the best. Taiven and Aric start out a little rough. But Taiven seems to come into his own as a slave. He’s smart and hard working. And Aric seems to be a bit bewitched by him. I enjoyed this short story and I kind of wish we got a bit more

The fourth in this series tells the story of villager Taiver. He trades himself for the freedom of his sister. He is taken by Aric to be a slave. The story starts off with horrible acts upon Taiver after he runs from Aric. He eventually finds his place beside Aric, makes a few friends, and is able to use his healer skills.

This is book four in the Love Unleashed series. This is Taiver and Aric's story. Taiver is learning to become a healer from his mother when his village is invaded and he trades himself for the safety of his family. He is putting his life on the line and must convince Aric that it is worth saving. Another great, steamy story in the series. Enjoy!

Taiver is fishing with his sister. When they get back Lord Aric and Raymor are there to pick a tribute from the village to become their new sex slave. When his sister is chosen, Taiver steps forward to protect her and volunteers to go in her place, knowing he will be used for their pleasure. Taiver is scared, but learns his place and works his way into Aric's heart. Liked the ending.

This is the 4th book in the series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Taiver studied to become a healer but when the nobles come to his village, he volunteered to be a tribute to protect his family. Now he is a slave and must win the affection of his owner. Fast-paced read with lots of heat and entertaining read. I liked it.

Taiver offers himself up to the king in place of his sister. I liked that even at his age, he knew he needed to protect his family. What starts off as king and slave however, turns into so much more. This is a short MM story btu can also be triggering to some because of the slave theme.

He offers himself to save his twin sister and has to learn to accept his fate as a sex slave. His skills as a healer help give him status & favor.
A short captive romance novella not for the faint of heart as it contains violence & forced sex.

This story drew me in pretty much from the beginning. I loved that this was a quick read and I finished it in just under an hour. Out of all the books in the series, I honestly think this one is my favorite. Even though Taiver is a slave, he can't help but come to the rescue of the masters that become sick. Without realizing it, he begins to get more freedom, and ends up falling for his master.

Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I enjoy the series. The story is well written with good reality and background. Well developed characters. A master and his slave who wants nothing more than spend nights by his master's side. Enjoyable.

I got this when it was available on Amazon for free. As short stories go it was good. As the blurb describes Taiver offers himself up to make life easier for his family and the village he resides in. Readers get to see Taiver a bit in his life before it leads up to that point and his time in slavery and eventual attachment to his master.

I rated two stars for a few reasons not because I didn't like the story. I thought it had potential and could be even better if it was fleshed out. Going back to why I rated it low:
1) Taiver rape was brushed over by Taiver. His attitude towards the act after it happened was kind of like how one would react to a fly flying one's person. It's there, it's flying and won't leave you alone until it does and you go about your day.
2) Taiver is willing to do anything to satisfy his master after the act happens.
3) Taiver attachment and him falling in love with his master came out of nowhere.
4) Taiver just going with the flow.

There were also plenty of stuff i liked in the story. Taiver sacrificing his happiness so his sister could live her life. Taiver being so collect and calm about his situation (yes, him going with the flow). Taiver taking to camp life and doing more than he has to as a sex slave.
