Crochet: 365 Days of Crochet: 365 Crochet Patterns for 365 Days
SPECIAL BONUS: Over 45 Holiday Crochet Patterns at the back of this book.
Do you love to crochet, but you don’t have a lot of time to get involved with big projects? This doesn’t mean that you can’t still enjoy your favorite hobby. All you need to do is find patterns that you can make up in a few hours. There are loads of great patterns out there that you can whip up easily while you’re sitting around watching television, riding in a car on a long trip, or in your spare time (if you actually have any). In this 365 Days of Crochet e-book, we are giving you a whole year’s worth of patterns, and each one can be made in a single day. In fact, you can make many of these patterns in a couple of hours or less, although you may want to set aside 5-6 hours if you plan on trying some of the bigger projects like blankets and ponchos.
Seriously: You will find loads of great ideas for items for your home, wearables, gifts, and a whole lot more. So, grab your crochet hooks and yarn, and start the year off right with a special pattern for every day of the year.
This book is ridiculous. The patterns are boring, appear everywhere else for free, are useless, and are not even pictured until the end of the book. So you have no way of knowing what the patterns are unless you go back and forth from the beginning of the book to the end and have to search for the picture. And, about half the pictures are either "Not allowable on Yahoo", are not accessible, not available, are in gobble-gook computer code, or are just not there. So you have no idea what at least half the worthless patterns are. If you are a brand new crocheter, you are better off getting a good quality book that will teach you the basics with pictures and instructions, which this piece of junk also does not have.
More than a Pattern a Day This book has a pattern a day that are primarily for beginners. The only complaint that I had was that a picture near the pattern would have been nice, but there were links at the end to take you to a pattern online, they could have put those on each pattern over the end. I found many patterns that I would enjoy making for holidays. The other thing I noticed was that they put the patterns in a holiday order. That can make it easier to locate patterns for different days (like Halloween or Christmas).
There are pictures of the finished projects furnished by way of links at the back of the book. Frustrating! Some of the links have been moved to Pinterest. Unfortunately, you have to go link by link to see if there's anything interesting. Having the instructions and the picture (or link to the picture) in two separate areas is not a good set up. I didn't just give it one star because there is a way to see the finished project unlike other books that don't have even that.
What?? Why no photos?? 365 + patterns and no photos of the finished products...what a disappointment. Ironic they use DIY in the title. Isn't all crochet and crafting DIY? duh How tough would it have been to include photos of what the finished product should resemble as we attempt to follow the pattern. Guess I'll just assume. 😐 Like they did thinking what a great helpful book this would be. Not.
Why in the world would someone take the time to put together a beautiful Christmas book with instructions, and leave out the most important feature. The picture of the item. Makes no sense, to me. I deleted this book as soon as I realized this feature was missing. Shame on the author.
This book presents many crochet patterns most suitable for beginners. The directions are clear; however, the format has photographs of the projects at the end. This is very inconvenient. Other than the reference photos being internet links and inconvenient to use, this book is a good reference for a variety of easy projects.
I love the book and it's title. The mere fact that it allows for a project daily, but my suggestion is that it would be even better with pictures. This is a case where a pictures are worth a thousand words. However it does not hinder me at all for reading and trying the projects. Four (4) stars because I wanted pictures.
Not even a book. No pictures. No index. Would not be possible to use this to crochet anything. Why did someone bother to publish this ? The one star I gave it is a minus 1.
I really like the patterns but, I wish the pictures were with the patterns instead of having to search for them. Sometimes the picture opens up and other times it only opens in email, and sometimes it isn’t available at all 😢
This book had many patterns that I may be doing, but I don't know if I'll be able to complete all of them. I do know that I'll be using a lot of leftover yarn up
For a beginner, this is a good book. For a more experienced crocheter it has patterns that are a little too easy and this just wasn't a good fit for me. I got bored very quickly.
Great Collection of patterns BUT as a long time crocheter (ages 7-50) with thousands of patterns, pattern books and even patterns I have created myself, I find it frustrating not having the pictures available to see what each pattern is and if I want to create it. Yes, once you get to the end of the book links are provided where you can go online and look up a picture of each at different sites but only if you have constant online access. If you don't... If you are reading/using the book offline then no pictures.
Very disappointing book. First off there are no pictures with the patterns. Instead, you have to go to the very back of the book, instead of pictures there are links for every pattern (and there are a LOT of them). Even that wouldn't be the end of the world, except these are not the Author's patterns. The links that do work are all to either craft sites like Repeatcrafterme, FaveCrafts, and Crafterchick.com, or actual Companies like Red Heart and Bernat. Many of the links are yahoo search based and none of them work, so a large portion of the patterns should you decide to wade through them do not have any pictures at all. It seems to me that instead of writing a book of patterns of the author's own design, all they've done is search the internet for other people's work and combine them (badly) for you. You would do better searching Pinterest or doing a google search for what you would like to crochet. A good thing I didn't pay for this ebook, I read it through KindleUnlimited. It really isn't worth the $2.99 Kindle price
I was particularly drawn to this craft book because there are so many simple projects to choose from. Each project has the necessary materials and step-by-step directions to explain what to do. If you need photos, you can refer to the back of the book for more detail. The projects are separated by month which is especially helpful if you’re looking for a project for Easter or Valentine’s Day because you know right where to look. The back of the book also contains a helpful crochet hook conversion chart, a tips and tricks section, and a crochet pattern mini ebook. I’ve already mentioned to her that I could use a few new crochet dishcloths so I think that is where she’ll start. A great ebook for someone who has basic crocheting knowledge and wants to try a few new projects.
