Jenna thought she had everything under control, but it’s not long before she realizes it’s too much for her to handle. Not only does she have to deal with the tragedy of losing someone close, but the woman she loves played a role in it. Her career is also in jeopardy. Her life begins to unravel, chipping away at her relationship in the process.
Her future is questionable. While working through her grief, she distances herself from Kris. Amelia Davies returns, further complicating her life, but she’s not the only one who adds fuel to the fire. Two funerals, hospital bureaucracy, small town gossip, jealousy, turmoil within her family, and a new neighbor threaten everything she’s been working towards for the past three years. Will there be a wedding in her future...or will she spend her future reflecting back on what could have been?
Missy Redstone lives in New Hampshire with her two cats. She enjoys spending time exploring the natural beauty of New Hampshire as well as Maine and Massachusetts. She is a self-proclaimed geek who loves technology and has become an Apple fangirl at heart. She is from North Carolina, but loves the snowy winters of the North.
This was a great sequel. A lot happened between Jenna and Kris. A lot of unexpected twists. I was hooked from the beginning and the end of the book came too soon. I hope that there will be a part 4. I want to see more of the future of Jenna, Kris and their friends. Well done and I can highly recommend this series.
I'm grateful for the third book in this series. The author does a good job of showing the human side of the characters. So human sometimes that you just want to shake them and tell them to stop being stupid. That is a great sign of the author's writing technique. She is able to cause such a strong response to what is going on within the characters lives.
The third in the series. More angst and issues, but Jenna and Kris truly love each other. Will that love be enough to keep them together? Was a quick read.
