Martha lives alone and spends her nights alone with just a bottle of wine for a companion. She works at a nursing home six days a week so her schedule leaves her little time for herself. Today is different. Today she has the whole day off. After a quick run to the grocery store to stock up on the essentials. Wine. She comes back home and finds a familiar face at her door. Her stepbrother Jonathan. It has been six years since she saw him last, but one look at his face brings back all the old feelings she used to have for him. He is a Marine and just got back from a third tour in Iraq and ready to live a normal lifestyle for a while. They decide to go to a bar to celebrate and things escalate quickly.

This book was just an interesting read... it's very different from books that I usually read but this book I just couldn't put it down.
The story is about Martha and Johnathan. they basic grow up together with there step parents. but during that times they develop feelings for each other and not acted on it. until when they saw each other again years later and that's when they acted on how they feels.
