故事描寫背負著私生子命運的主角何勿生，親眼目睹生父于景被練成「阿鼻劍法」的史飛虹所殺；何勿生殺父之仇未報，反而受劍法之害，每天得受一次氣血倒錯的凌遲之苦。後來，一場大火讓何勿生遇見從火中重生的阿鼻第九使者，開始經歷代表貪、愚、痴、嗔的武林恩怨，見證「阿鼻（地獄）」即「人世」的深理……
以行善、正義為使命的摩訶劍派，統理武林，已有兩百年。
摩訶劍派的武功能服天下，一方面因為摩訶劍法博大精深，已達劍法中之化境，一方面有一柄摩訶劍。摩訶劍不但削鐵如泥，其勢無能禦之。據說其中還有些神秘的力量。掌握到最後的秘密，可以永生不死。
摩訶劍派的歷代掌門人，修練與品性都極好，德高望重，門下弟子不但在武藝上訓練有方，人品更為大家所肯定，因而邪惡不興，四方歸順。武林中人爭以學習摩訶劍法為榮，有什麼糾紛，也都以摩訶劍派的調解為重。傳到第八代掌門方境手中，加上以摩訶九劍為名的九名弟子，尤其達到摩訶劍派的巔峰。因而在摩訶劍派掌門人方境七十大壽之日，少林、武當、峨嵋三大門派，心悅誠服地以三道任憑摩訶劍派差遣的令牌，當作祝壽禮物。
就在這個時候，武林中卻已經出現了一股新興的邪惡勢力：阿鼻使者。阿鼻使者行事詭異，武功極強，雖然經常以替天行道為名，但下手極重，往往殘殺無辜。因而方境在七十壽宴之後，決定除了大弟子勿滅和摩訶九劍中另三名留在劍莊之外，其餘摩訶五劍則以二弟子勿生帶頭，全數下山剷除阿鼻使者……

A martial arts comic series titled Hell Blade by the Taiwanese comic legend Chen Uen? That sounds positively enchanting!
Huhh...I will continue to read this series and the artwork is great! But the characters seem to be a bit too many.

PS: let me tell you one thing: hoping to read more books during self-isolation and work-from-home period during the time of the freaking WuHan virus outbreak probably doesn't work so good, I still have ton of unread and half-finished books to work on. *sighs
