Thank you, thank you, this is what I wanted from Constantine. It's less introspection, though there is still some of that, and more dialogue and things happening. Now it seems to have found a footing to be a more coherent plot as well. I'm glad I stuck around.

This issue contains two art styles, a softer one for the flashbacks and a rougher one for the present. They're an improvement over what's been in the first two issues, but still not quite my cup of tea.

OK, I was really engaged by the story this issue. I enjoyed seeing some of John's backstory and his friends and acquaintances that started him on the path to where he is today. Georgiana is a really interesting new character and her connection to Constantine's past is a great touchstone for uncovering more of his character.

Still really don't like the art in this book. I find it sketchy and undefined in most parts. When the action started it was hard to tell what was going on. I marked this book down a full star for the artwork alone.
