Becky Cloonan is an American comic book creator, known for work published by Tokyopop and Vertigo. In 2012 she became the first female artist to draw the main Batman title for DC Comics.
Finally some time to read a comic on a lunch break!
Olive is off doing something on her own in the woods when the gang catches up to her. After some investigating the gang discovers there is a werewolf on campus. Olive finds out a little more history of her past. And she starts talking to Tristan. A werewolf attacks. Some other stuff happens but I don’t want to ruin it.
This was one of the better issues of Gotham Academy. The story line moved, things happened. I really enjoyed this issue (I pretty much always do). My only complaint is that I wasn’t quite sure what was happening at the end of the issue. But anyways, overall fantastic issue. Love this series.
Description (Comixology): If the gang thought it was hard to keep up with their homework before, now there's a werewolf on campus at Gotham Academy! Talk about distractions!
OK, I've decided that this series really is growing on me. I really do like the artwork, and even the characters are beginning to round out nicely. Its a cute, YA series that reminds me of some of the cartoons I watched as a kid.
I love how our main group of characters are starting to form a sort of club with each other and I love these types of stories.Just a normal group of people but teaming up to fight against some sort of evil or anything that is out of the ordinary.
Picking back up, this one still has a few scattered moments but is much better than the last. The characters continue to have fun in serious situations, and are a pleasant break from Olive's constant worrying (though she's still a great character).
Finally things are starting to come together. Really like where this series is going, if the pieces continue to fall into place and the plot actually makes sense. Love the characters. Maps is laugh-out-loud funny in every issue.
Perdiendo el interés rápidamente, porqué sí, el dibujo es atractivo, como lo es la ambientación, pero el desarrollo de la historia deja bastante que desear.
