Ryker Cage is a rough guy, with very particular tastes when it comes to sex. Rough, hard, and dirty is the extent of his repertoire. Never soft. He doesn’t have a clue about connecting with his sensitive side in the bedroom, or that find-your-inner-femininity bullshit. He fears nothing—except his feelings for the sweet and innocent Molly Monroe.
The bad boy who lived next door claimed Molly’s heart long ago. Crazy or not, she loves him. Always has. No matter what he does to push her away, or how far he runs, Ryker is the one man she’ll never stop loving.
When Ryker finally finds his way back home, will he find the courage to claim what’s always been his? Or will he be destined for heartache when someone threatens to take everything away?
London Saint James has lived in many places, but never felt “at home” until she met the real-life man of her dreams and settled down in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. London lives with her husband and their fat cat who thinks he owns them.
As an award-winning, international bestselling author, London is living her childhood dream. She knew all the scribbling she did, that big imagination of hers, and all those clamoring characters running around in her head would pay off someday.
Ok. I seriously thought I'd met every bad boy possible.
Not so.
Ryker ... I really don't have words for this man. He is downright naughty, but hot hot hot. I'm not a fan of this type of guy in real life OR as book boyfriend material, but Ms. Saint James wooed me right in.
I loved the backstory, the switching between times to give us better insight into their characters.
A well written story full of heat & passion! Definitely a must read.
Molly had an abusive father who liked to lock her in a dark closet as punishment. Ryker lived next door Molly had a such a crush on him. In the Summer months Molly would escape to the roof to get away from her father and Ryker was know to join her. He had feelings for her but she was a bit younger than him so he did not act on them, though he tried to protect her he could not protect her from her own father. After years apart Ryker returns to his hometown where he had the reputation of a bad boy and runs into Molly all grown up. She tries to avoid him at all costs not wanting to get hurt again if he decides to leave again. Molly has been dating her boss Jack and he and Ryker are as different as night and day. This book has a lot of steamy sex scenes between Molly and Ryker once they give into the pull between them. This was a well written book that I enjoyed reading and look forward to reading more books by Ms. London Saint James.

If men were this tenacious I think there would be a lot of happier woman around. Seriously, Ryker is HOT. He is sweet in his own way, and maybe a little Neanderthal. I always find an Alpha male sexy as long as they walk the fine line of being possessive without being demeaning. Ryker, the main male lead, walks that line with finesse.
THe story is about a woman who had an abusive father growing up and Ryker was the one person who has always been there to comfort her. It's no wonder she has always been in love with him, aside from being cute, he always took care of her. The issue is, he has some dark tastes in the bedroom. It would make sense that given the female leads history, he is fearful that he'll scare her away. This is where his sweet side shows itself. When it comes to Molly, Ryker will do anything to make her happy, but other women - not so much.
I won't spoil this story for you, but it's a must read. The sex scenes are extremely vivid, in a good way and Ryker is insatiable. If Molly ever gets tired of this bad boy, I think there are a lot of woman who would take him on.
Ms. Saint James writes a drool worth hero and a likeable heroine. I can't get enough of her books or her men. Well done.
Dirty, sweet and erotic with an alpha male to die for. BUT, what I didn't like was that heroine slept with OM. NOOOO!!!!! WHY????!!! *insert disappointed face*
I like it where both characters stay committed to each other even though they're apart for part of the book. I don't like this OW/OM crap.
If that would have been omitted, this could have been a lot better.

Molly grew up w an abusive father and now works with a foundation that assists abused women. Ryker is her childhood neighbor, whom she could never get over. Molly starts a relationship with her boss Jack. Ryker returns to town and, finally pulls his head out of his @$$ and decides to fight for Molly. Overall I liked the story...good mix of steamy scenes, some ex drama, stalker, etc. My one complaint is that Molly gave in too quickly to Ryker!! She basically slept with Jack one night and then was with Ryker a few hours after...she should have made Ryker grovel for a bit.
Oh sweet Baby Jesus, Ryker Cage is bad boy that you can't help by fall in love with.
Molly great up next to Ryker and fell in love with him more and more with each passing day. But as the years have passed, their relationship was never more than way to pass time. She can't keep waiting for a guy that will never return her feelings, so she starts seeing someone else. Jack is definitely the opposite of Ryker. He's a nice guy and treats Molly right, but there just isn't the same spark.
The more Ryker spends with Molly, the more he begins to have feeling for her that make him reevaluate everything. Seeing her with Jack brings out feelings he's not familiar with, can this be jealousy? Can the girl next door be one the tame the bad boy? Does the bad boy want to be tamed?
London really knocked it out of the ballpark with this book. Ryker is down right sexy and he knows it. Some would call his cockiness arrogance, but with Ryker it is seductive. Molly knows who she wants, but she won't compromise her integrity to get him. Together, the sparks between them will light of the night sky and keep you warm and toasty on cold nights.
I loved this book from start to finish. Delcan was my favorite Cage brother, but after this, Ryker is giving him a run for his money! Either way, those Cage Brothers really know how to get your heart pumping and knickers melting.
