Set in 1983, the priest is deeply troubled by a vision that he had at the end of the last book, The Dark Messenger. It told the story of the Earth dying and his unborn child Jenny being murdered.
As he riffles through the Ponerology sections of age old evil books in his basement, the idea of the two vampires called Kaine and Regina existing appears in his mind. Racing out the door of his office, he leaps into his old Datsun Cherry and pulls out of the car park intent on finding them.
Meanwhile in Paris at a convention in the Palace de Versailles, Kaine and Regina who have been invited to discuss the recent kidnappings of Vampires from Romania, find their lives soon to be turned upside down. Outside genetically modified WW2 criminals, armed with MX1 tranquiliser darts are waiting for them to leave.
Milo Spires writes brutal, lyrical dark fantasy where vampires, werewolves, and ancient gods collide in the Lucian War. His debut, And Still They Feed, unleashes the raw horror of true werewolves—twelve‑foot carcass‑beasts, relentless and rotting, tearing through worlds of loyalty and blood. Milo’s work is ritualistic and cinematic, fusing poetic violence with mythic atmosphere to drag readers into the abyss. Beyond the page, Milo thrives in strange architectures—ritual gyms, broken machines, and mythic engines—always building, breaking, and remaking worlds.
Entering Hell is an interesting idea. The subject matter of vampires, werewolves, angels, Satan and God. This Paranormal story had the main characters Regina and Kaine. Regina and Kaine are strong character that have a unique husband and wife bond with the capability to communicate telepathically. This is an action pack read with great characters that keeps you guessing what may happen next. . I believe my favorite character was Raffious. A character written as a perverse, with magical powers. Even Satan will make his appearance in this unique story. Satan, himself, comes to collect the blackened soul of vampires, but will they fight wage war to keep them? That is for you to find out. However, I felt like it read more as a ledger. This is a newer author and, all in all, was done quite well
Interesting read, the author has a unique writing style ans a way to tell an interesting story readers will love.Combining vampires and werewolves who have had a horrific war and a special priest the story unfolds. Regina and Kaine are the main vampires and have a special link that began when Kaine saved Regina's life, now they are soul mates and plan on being together for eternity, there however, is a lot standing in their way as readers will find when they pickup this book.I liked the link to world war 2 Germany where in truth a lot of strange things were happening and the author has incorporated that into this story.
Received the book for an honest review. This is the first book I've read by Milo Spires and Entering Hell was quite the introduction. Mr. Spires has a unique writing style that I haven't encountered before, which made for easy reading. Interesting concept of having vampires and werewolves in a horrific war with a bit of God, Angels and Satan thrown into the mix. A different twist in the paranormal.
WOW! I started reading this book and couldn't put it down! The story grabs your attention right from the start and it's a wild ride right to the end. Even if you aren't into vampire or demons, this book is well worth reading if your into lots of action and twists and turns that you never see coming. Another great work by Milo Spires.
A good twist to Vampires, Angels, A Priest & Demons. There is a darkness to this & it's interesting. The main Vamps Kaine & Regina are good strong characters. I even like John the Priest. It's a good pace & detailed. Lots of twists & turns that keep you reading. Now I need to read part 2 & then The Dark Messenger, the first book lol.
I received a copy in exchange for my honest review. I wasn't really sure what I was getting myself into when I agreed to read this one.....but I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised! It was a very action packed, intense story. There was never a dull moment. I couldn't put it down once I got started.
Vampires, Angels and might as well throw in Satan too! Action people, packed with action from the very beginning. It's a fast paced story of how two vampires who are not like other vampires, become a thorn in Satan's side some. Since all vampires kinda answer to him at one point or another. And a priest, yes I said a priest will ask them to save someone very precious to him, who he saw in a vision being murdered unless they can help. Oh and did I mention the military is after them too, for no other reason that being a vampire and they want that power. With Satan, the military and them being after some thugs too, who will have a action packed story you really don't want to end.
I must admit this book was hard to get into at first. I understand we needed background information, but it did drag a bit. Once you really get into the story the book was really good. I highly enjoyed the vampire couple Regina and Kaine. This book really picks up and sucks you in. The twists and turns keep you on your toes. The cliff hanger in this is best expressed by OMG! It so makes you anticipate the second part especially with what the couple went through in Paris.
Ok ,ok ,can't wait to finish the book This is an exciting story.the priest his daughter an a evil man I haven't quite figured out what he is yet,but I love the vampire couple am excited to know how it will all end. It was very well written and the story keep me reading till late into the night. Fast becoming one of my favorite authors.
I expected more but was somewhat disappointed. It sounded like a really great series but left to many unanswered questions. I expected the couple to be invisible but was not happy with the storyline.
