This is a serial novella series. A serial must be read in order to understand what is going on. This serial is for adults only due to the steamy scenes and violence.
Part One
Wow, this was definitely steamy and grabbed my attention and held on until I was at the end. This is a unique shifter world from what I see of it so far, but I still have lots of questions rolling around in my head looking for answers about the pack. Anna Craig (J.K.) does an outstanding job with her descriptions and making the story come alive in my mind. I loved every second of reading it.
Cassandra is headstrong but unsure what to expect. I’m partial to her name of course :) Her home town baffles me, but I’m hoping to learn more as I read this serial. Trevor seems like a jerk one moment and a sexy beast the next. I’m not sure what to think of him yet.
Part Two
This is definitely an exciting world that Anna Craig (J.K.) has come up with. I was so enthralled and screaming when it ended. Her descriptions make the story come alive in my head. Lots of things going on in this book though still plenty of questions rolling around my head and I want more!!!
Of course, Cassandra rocks, and now Tamsin is another woman who I admire and like a lot…lots of spunk!! I definitely love Trevor now too!! Several pack members are definitely not to my liking because they need their butts kicked, but I do not want to give anything away. I completely loved reading this though it ended much too quickly…I need more!!!
Part Three
I totally loved this part. Cassandra is getting braver and more outgoing which I love, and she doesn’t wait to be rescued she rescues herself. She is an alpha without the wolf part. Trevor is opening up his heart and becoming more attached to Cassandra. There is tons of action especially if you remember the cliffhanger from part two. Interesting things happening that leave you wondering at many places. And of course Anna is trying to kill me with another ginormous cliffhanger. Now I’m dying for part four!! Anna does a fabulous job pulling you into the story, and her words make the pictures instantly appear in your mind. I was fully immersed in the pack until it ended way too soon.
Part Four
Okay, this rocked! I love how strong Cassie has gotten along the way as she has grown as a character. Trevor….well he just needs to listen to Cassie and Tamsin. This part had plenty of action and ended well…though thankfully it is not the end of the Wicked Mountain Pack’s story and I am very intrigued to read Tamsin’s story!!!
Anna Craig does a fantastic job with her writing making it easy to get pulled in and visualize everything as it happens :) I cannot wait to read more of her work in the future :)
I highly recommend this to wolfy shifter lovers who like serials with all that entails especially if you are already a J.K. Harper fan (you will not want to miss this serial series!!)

Wicked Wolf Shifters is right! 5 WOLF PAWS UP
Anna had me from the first AARRROOOO! Seriously! This is one WOFTASTIC story that you do NOT want to miss out on! Read what I had to say about each part, then buy these WICKED books and read them for yourself! 9 out of 10 WOLF SHIFTERS agree that this is THE story to read this year! The other stayed in wolf form, but he did give a big tail wag and a loud HOOOOOOWL which we take to mean HELLYA!
Surrendered to the Pack (Wicked Wolf Shifters 1) Oh, god. Oh, yes. Oh, god. Oh, yes. 5 stars
Three huge, sexier-than-hell, wild wolf-shifting men trapped her in a cage of man-flesh. Completely at their disposal, utterly at their command, and totally helpless to say no. Where to begin? This is directly from the book - The impossible. The insane. The unprecedented. I think that it also is a fair description of this story in a way too! Even though this sounds like some archaic medieval practice that SHOULD be appalling, it is EVERYTHING but that! This is one HOT PAWSOME romp of a start to this story & serial that is at once everything naughty, hot, magical and oh so yummy! Take Trevor (“It is time, Cassandra,” he said, “Time for you to understand your role as surrender.”), the sexiest Alpha EVER who is impossible to figure out, two equally hot Packmates that are Mac, who seems to be the most relaxed one, smiling & laughing often, & while Finn is the dreamy one that many a naughty dream has been had about, he also seems to be relaxed with a naughty sense of humor, along with Cassie - the sassy but oh so almost willing towns sacrifice, mix with a dash of humor, a touch of intrigue, all rolled into an amazingly engrossing story by Anna Craig. This is the first story of hers that I have read, but I am oh so very addicted to her writings! I love the mess of words, phrases & language like “his...length. Thing.” Or how about “that huge length like steel”. Of course my true favorites are: Cassie is sort of arguing with the Alpha who makes a comment about girls today being so 'uppity' (really?? Who says that anymore? Cassie had the same thoughts as I did!) and this one has me howling with laughter every time I think of it: Cassie's buck naked in front of the 3 pack guys and all she is worried about is them seeing her 'heinie' (after the slew of naughty thoughts, words & actions, she says ' heinie' lol) *wipes tears from eyes* All of this just helps to add to the wolfeliciousness (what? It’s a word!) of the story. I am always a little amazed and a lot impressed when I come across an erotic piece of tail, I mean a tale, that has characters that are multifaceted, that ones that you feel strongly about, that you can connect with and feel what they are feeling, feel FOR them too, that have a history to them, a story that has humor, intrigue, romance, hot, HOT hotness, and oh so much more giving it a very deep, rich storyline that hooks you from the start and then keeps you engrossed all the way to the very end. THIS is precisely that kind of story! I cannot wait to read the rest of it to see just what Anna has in store for “poor” Cassie!. snicker Anna undeniably has a true gift for writing these furrific stories and I can't wait to read more and discover just HOW talented she truly is!!

WOW!!! Talk about a fangtastically intense read and it doesn’t get more intense than this: Blood was blood, and bloodlines were very important to shifters. But mates were even more important. Don’t you wish that all of that could be real?? I know I would! This part follows right from where Surrendered to the Pack (book 1) left off and it does not even slow down so you catch your breath! I bet right about now Cassie is wishing she was back on that gigantic bed watching those 3 hunks coming towards her! Well, okay, she isn't the only one wishing for that! *naughty grin* What I wouldn’t give to be Cassie! *dreamy sigh* I cannot believe the actions of the rest of the pack, well at least some of them. I was griping my tablet so hard while reading this part of the story because of the intensity of both the storyline as well as the exceptionally hot, sexy & naughty parts too! His woman. His claim, His mate. Now THAT is spoken like a true Alpha! Now that I have finished this part and have discovered more about who Trevor is and how seriously he take his Alpha duties & his loyalty to the Pack, I felt that I was starting to comprehend just how huge his responsibilities are and impressed and a little awed with it all. I think I would go so far as to say that I am also starting to understand, not agree with, but understand, that the way that things are done, they are done for a real & honest purpose. Even if it does seem a lot crazy & archaic! You will have to read it for yourself, then you will see what I mean. I am blown away with just how rich & deep this storyline has become, with all of the barbaric laws & ways the Wolf Pack still follows, the actions of bitter wolves, this unique story that is so beautifully written and with just how much I am loving it all!! I cannot wait for the rest of the story! Anna has definitely made a stalker/fan out of this reader and I am eagerly looking forward to reading all of her books for years to come!

Her mate. A gorgeous, huge, amazing wolf shifter. ACK! EEP! WOW! So many different thoughts & emotions played through me while reading this third installment to the serial that has completely captured me, heart, mind, body & soul! Now if only I had discovered it after it was finished! The suspense may be the end of me! Okay, an exaggeration, but you get the point. Anna has created this pawesome serial that is so very deeply rich, or richly deep depending how you look at it, that I cannot get enough of!! In fact I just re-read parts 1 & 2 before starting this one and I plan on doing the same thing for each part that follows. There are so many furrific traits that blend together perfectly to make this story so beautifully fangtastic like a deep pack history, pawmazing Shifters, unique talents and abilities, Alpha commands, rules & laws - both archaic & modern, just to name a few. Of course it is not all sunshine & roses, but that only adds to the richness of the story by giving it a well-rounded storyline with lots of intensity, humor, hot stuffs, surprises, mystery, suspense and more, much more! I love how insanely quick I am immersed into the story enabling me to connect with the characters instantly, feeling both for and with them. That is always what I look for in a book – one that can consume me to the point that I am living the characters’ lives…even if it is only for a short time. After re-reading the first two parts, then this latest one, I feel confident in saying that Anna truly is an exceptionally talented author who has me completely & wholeheartedly captivated & entranced with her stories! I surrender myself to the Wicked Mountain Pack. I cannot wait to read more of them, over & over again for many years to come!

The rightness of being mates. Mate of my heart. HOWLY FURRY WOLVES! WHAT A PAWFECT ENDING TO SUCH A FANGERRIFIC & PAWMAZING STORY!! WHEW! WOW! What a rush! I abso-freakin-lutely LOVE this entire story!! There were so many shocks, twists, surprises and WHOA!! moments as well as happy ones, uber hot & sexy ones, hilarious ones and many more that are all interwoven together to bring this PAWESOME WOLFTASTIC story to its WOLFGASMIC conclusion! Anna had me gasping for air multiple times, I was constantly reading & re-reading parts because I was so anxious to see what was going to happen next that I kept skipping over words, then making myself go back and read it all slowly so that I could absorb EVERYTHING and enjoy it all to its fullest! I lost count of how many times I had to relax my fingers and hands so that I didn't break my tablet, then had to work on relaxing all of my tense muscles before they cramped up on me! YES!! IT IS THAT FURRIFIC!! THAT WOLFTABULOUS!!! Cassie truly came into her own and Trevor did too, but in ways that I did not expect. I can't (and won't) say any more because you need to experience this for yourself! I refuse to ruin the epicness (What? It's a word!) that is this ending! I know that there are more Wolves to get their stories, but I so hope that they are in full books and not serials for two reasons - 1) I do not like serials because I am a very impatient reader and 2) because I can't stand the suspense and having to wait to read the next piece! Okay, that is really just one reason, but it sounds much better to make it into two so that it doesn't look like I am totally ragging on the serial format! Anna has me completely, utterly & wholly captivated, mesmerised, addicted and consumed by her phenomenal talent and I cannot wait to read more!!

I lost count of how many times I had to relax my fingers and hands so that I didn't break my tablet, then had to work on relaxing all of my tense muscles before they cramped up on me! YES!! IT IS THAT FURRIFIC!! THAT WOLFTABULOUS!!! Cassie truly came into her own and Trevor did too, but in ways that I did not expect. I can't (and won't) say any more because you need to experience this for yourself! I refuse to ruin the epicness (What? It's a word!) that is this ending! I know that there are more Wolves to get their stories, but I so hope that they are in full books and not serials for two reasons - 1) I do not like serials because I am a very impatient reader and 2) because I can't stand the suspense and having to wait to read the next piece! Okay, that is really just one reason, but it sounds much better to make it into two so that it doesn't look like I am totally ragging on the serial format! Anna has me completely, utterly & wholly captivated, mesmerised, addicted and consumed by her phenomenal talent and I cannot wait to read more!!

Thoughts: This started out a little weird for me with the "sacrifice" of the town girls and how they have to stay virgins and seem to become sex slaves to the wolves. Turns out that's not completely true and after the initial "oh hell no" going through my head it took me a bit to get into the story. The only reason it was weird to me is because it takes place in present time and I understand the fear of the huge wolves but in this day and age I just don't see them staying somewhat hidden with technology, smartphones, and the internet being the way it is. That being said, the story really grew on me and I'm so thankful I got to read them all together since each book ends in a cliffhanger, and boy are they doozies. I feel in love with the characters and their development was awesome. Cassie starts out with the normal fear since these wolves are huge (like in Twilight) but she is so snarky and curious that those override her fear. Trevor (my new book boyfriend, hands off lol) is the alpha of the pack, so of course there are appearances that have to be upheld. Because of his past and the pressures of being alpha he doesn't embrace Cassie as a mate normally does. It was exciting watching them grow together to become the best alpha mates to such a huge pack. I can't wait to read more about these shifters!

Well, first thing first; if this book was a movie it would definitely be rated 'R.' The beginning is VERY hot! As the story progresses, the sex scenes fizzle just a little and focus more on Trevor and Cassandra's relationship (which is fine). This is an easy read and there is plenty of action to keep you hooked!

Virgin sacrifice - or an alpha salvation?
Orginally I got the first part of this book for free on kindle. It sounded like it was going to be naughty fun read. Well, things are always what they seem. While it has its fun naughty parts, it turned out to be so much more. By the end of the first part I was so hooked I went and bought the completed serial. Best decision ever!
I loved how both Trevor and Cassie grow throughout the story, both emotionally and mentally. Their chemistry is off the charts. Sexually they have no problems whatsoever. It's where they stand within the pack that causes their problems.
I ended up till the wee hours of the morning this riveting yet fun story. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes their paranormal romance with lots of heat, fun, suspense, and true partnership.

I like the book but was a bit annoyed with Cassie. She came across as a bit of a wimp, and not too smart. I was expecting her to be a bit more badass. At the end she finally showed her worth. As far as the writing I had to skip a few paragraphs because there was way too much description, for example, of how a room was decorated. There was too much inner head thinking and not enough conversation. However the story was good.

Lots of steam and an enjoyable plot make this an entertaining read. I liked the chemistry between Cassie & Trevor. Action, drama, danger and excitement capture and keep your interest well. All together a very good read. This is my honest, voluntary review.

I received a copy for an honest review. This was a series books 1-4. These series begins with Cassandra Wakefield who is a member of one of the families that lives on Wicked Mountain with the Wolf Shifters and every year that one of the young women is offered up as a sacrifice to the wolves for there entertainment in return the wolves leave the humans in the town alone Cassie had been going to college but this year she was about to turn 22years old and planning on doing something other than this with her life but she was chosen and now she is standing with her parents in front of the Wolf Alpha Trevor Reginald and two of his wolves to be given over to them she as the rest of the girls before her were all virgins that was part of the pack Cassie had tried to get a boy to take her virginity when she was younger but all the boys in the town was scared to death to touch any of the girls she was scared but she was also interested in finding out what it would be like to be with these men and they looked like they couldn't wait to get their hands on her at least the two other wolves did the Alpha just looked mean they started toward the mansion that was at the top of the mountain looking down on the town Cassie was having thoughts about the guys and they were reading her mind and telling her pretty much what that they knew what she was thinking and feeling the Alpha was the only one who seem to not be happy about the play between the wolves and the human but he wasn't sure why but by the time they got to the room that they were to spend the night together and he had already removed the thin gown that Cassie was wearing and he told her to get in the bed but by the time she got on the huge bed and moved to the middle they were already naked and she was really scared and hot then but when the other two wolves started touching Cassie Trevor was so upset that he told the others to leave and he claimed Cassie for himself well when the other wolves heard about this they were not happy but one of the she wolves Aliana was very upset and came and knocked on the door claiming death to the human. This goes from the Trevor claiming Cassandra to the council wanting to have a meeting which had a lot to do with Trevor's brother and then to the pack claiming Cassandra because of his sister Tamsin took Cassie to the council meeting and she had Cassie claim to be the mate of the Alpha. Cassie being napped while she was sleeping in a field. Cassie getting comfortable with her new mate and his decision to make her one oh them and Aliana putting Cassie's life in danger. And Cassie's chance to help her mate deal with his fears. All the books in the series have and interesting story to be told. Adult readers.

The series starts off in one direction and takes a major turn. It seems like it will be the typical virgin surrendered to the pack for protection story that you see quite often. It is so much more than that. You see a relationship develop and two people really grow together. The chemistry between is the one thing that does not change.
Cassandra is not sure what to expect but when she is chosen as this year's surrender but she goes along with it as is her duty. The sex with the shifters is the part she is actually looking forward to as she was required to remain a virgin till the age of 22.
Trevor is the alpha and expects her to obey him. It is supposed to be about sex for him and then the human will go away and serve her purposes to the pack. He doesn't expect to want more and when he does it endangers his position and her life. Members of the pack will try to take advantage of any perceived weakness.
The set takes you thru her becoming a member of the pack and their developing relationship. She makes quite a transition from the frightened virgin in the first part of the story. You also see Trevor become less arrogant and open up more to her. He has to deal with the pain of his past.

Cassandra Wakefield was her town’s surrender to the wolf pack this year. A ridiculous tradition that forced a strict policy upon all females under the age of 22. Cassie was almost 22 and since she had never been picked yet, she thought she was in the clearing and started planning a real life, even though secretly she wanted to know what it would be like...Trevor Reginald is the pack alpha and honestly kind of bored with the tradition of the surrender. Half the time he doesn’t really even participate anymore. So when he sees Cassie and his mind starts screaming MATE, he’s very resistant, especially since she’s human and no wolf has ever mated with a human…
I’m very happy that I was able to read all for serials together because once I got through most of the first serial and saw that it definitely wasn’t what I thought it was going to be, I couldn’t stop reading. It moved pretty quickly, but the author built a pretty good plot with lots of hawtness. I especially liked Trevor’s POV. I felt that the way he struggled with his inner pain brought even more to the story. I can’t wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend this book.

Okay, I received this book in exchange for an honest review. After reading the beginning I was ready to just put the book down and give it 1 star. The whole lottery & sacrificing a virgin for the good of the town was crazy. So, after a couple of days I picked it back up and finally finished. I'm not a fan of serials but since this was a bundle it was ok. The story turned out to be kind of interesting, but I felt there were some holes. Mac & Finn just disappeared from the story and then Trevor only got mentioned near the end. These were obviously allies of the Alpha yet no one but his sister was available to help with all that was happening. The heat factor was really good throughout and the story ended up well.

But as sizzlingly potent as the physical aspect was, when the the book progressed I found myself glued to the pages and totally intrigued to discover the heartbreaking past event that shattered the ability of a gorgeous Alpha wolf to leave himself vulnerable enough to open his heart to love.
My only criticism, it could have used better editing.
Will I read more from this author? Most definitely YES!

This was indeed a real interesting addictive read I always love when the heroine come into there own Cassandra was sassy,feisty, and fierce. The story itself captivity you from beginning to the end and since it was a box sets I didn't have to wait for the next book to come out which is always great. So if you're looking for a shifter book to read I would totally recommend that you read this one you won't regret it I'll be anxiously waiting to read Tamsin and Jackson's story Tamsin look like she going to be a handful.

I'm really glad I had the complete set of books to be able to read straight through. I really dislike cliffhangers. Be warned and have the next book ready.
I wasn't sure how the storyline would pan out during the first few pages. It seemed like sexy men, sex but no story. Have patience it soon kicks in.
Great characters that are well written and likable.
I look forward to reading more in this series and following the characters.

It started out well enough, then it got too much he's not going to tell. I'm glad they did reveal what happened with Finn and Mac they only had their appearance at the beginning and the end of the book. Although still don't know why the surrenders are required. It was mentioned that the Surrenders were required to keep the balance but then it was never explained as to why. A small detail but still curious nonetheless.

This was not amazing but it was entertaining enough. The writing seemed ... amateurish? Hard to explain but certain aspects barely scratched the surface and others dragged. Also a lot of repeated words as if to make a point but more to the point of being annoying. Also, this was technically four books? But if I had to buy them separately, I would have been very annoyed because each was pretty short. Altogether it felt like one book, not four.

Excellent box set! I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. A paranormal romance steeped in drama, danger and steamy romance with a very unique story line. This was my first read by Author Anna Craig and I am thoroughly impressed. If you're looking for a unique author and series then look no farther. Very captivating.
