Jones has experienced something that most people only hear about on the news or in movies. Now how does Jones cope? Reagan is still wet behind the ears. How much trouble could someone as naive as her possibly get into? Jones is Reagan's boss. How (un)professional can they be? Who knew the hospital was a place that could be filled filled with so much drama?
I was a loyal viewer of the TV show ER for most of its run. I've watched my fair share of Grey's Anatomy and House. Watching the drama on TV and reading it in a book are two totally different experiences. The author, Keys, does a fine job of drawing the reader in from the first page and keeping them in until the final page. There is intrigue, there is a little comedy and there is plenty of action to keep the audience interested. In some parts it was a bit predictable, but not to the point where it took away from the story. The most unpredictable, however, would be one of the main characters, Reagan. Just when I thought I had her figured out towards the end, she switched up on me. There is a lesson to be taken away from the novel, but ultimately, Medicinal Love was a fun read.
