**THERE IS CHEATING IN THIS BOOK**

So far this is a DNF for me. Certain books with cheating I can live with, but this book just doesn't do it for me at all. I need there to be a true connection between the H and h, but I don't believe there is when Cash openly gets blowjobs from other women in front of Ursa without issue.

"Life as a pack wife was...weird. All the women seemed to tolerate and even expect that their men would have a fair amount of meaningless sex with whatever bar skank they might find. As long as that bar skank never messed with their standing in the pack, nothing was said. Jealousy wasn't tolerated, and neither were revenge fucks. An unattached woman could spread for any guy she wanted, but if you were caught with your dick in someone else's bitch, you might end up losing it."

What type of double freaking standard is that? And why do the women have to be labeled bitches? If the men can fuck around damn it why can't the women? If this isn't the type of relationship I would personally want to be in, why would I want to read about it in a romance book?

Oh...but now Ursa is Cash's "mate" so everything is good, right. Bears mate for life, isn't that the norm for true life and most were-bear books?

"I was one of them. I'd drawn blood for their leader, and I warmed his bed at night. I didn't bat an eye when a skinny blonde that had her eye on Ray decided the best way to make him jealous was to blow Cash under the table (It wasn't.)"

WTF? I can feel the romance. So Ursa gets kidnapped but I can't even bring myself to care. Cash doesn't care enough about her to at least try to keep it in his pants, why should I?

So as of this moment this book is a DNF for me - will I go back and finish it later? Who knows...I might be in a bitchy mood and decide I need a good cheating romance type of book. And I might even end up liking the book. But until then, this is off my radar and TBR list.
