I learnt about the author Lev Goldenouch when I did the Udemy Superlearner course. To become a real ''superlearner'' you need to train certain skills first and while the course is very extensive, I felt the need for a book to lookup things in more detail.

This was a great decision. The book contains many background information, exercises and answers to questions from other students. What I liked was the (in a good way!) scientific approach. All methods have been tested, refined and tuned for best results so what the reader holds in his and her hands is the outcome of many years of research and practice.

The big question is: does it really work? I can reply with a convincing yes but you need to work first to acquire the right skills. This takes time and there is no shortcut for it. The good news is that the author has set up a webpage with everything you need so the only thing needed is commitment. Overcoming old habits is not easy...

If you wonder if you should buy this book or not, go to the author's website and check his blog: KeytoStudy.

I can also recommend the Udemy course. The pricing scheme is a bit weird on that site, every couple of weeks they run a sale and you can get every course for €10 - 17€.

Written by the brains behind the Become a Superlearner course, this book is best thought of as the extra or final content of said course. Its techniques go far more in-depth than the original material, creating room to build your own personal learning style once you have improved your reading speed and learned basic mnemonics.

Its content is extremely diverse and touches upon fascinating techniques most people can't even begin to imagine. Must-read.
