FROM USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR MICHAEL JAMES PLOOF
Elven prophecy told of one who would defeat the dark lord…
Whillhelm Warcrown has inherited a kingdom in chaos. His true love has no memory of him, his ward is trapped in the body of an ancient elf, and magic is lost. Mighty lords have claimed themselves kings of the north, dragons stir in the west, and a powerful necromancer is building an army of undead.
Whill has inherited a kingdom in chaos, now he must fight to keep it.
Dirk and Krentz have found themselves bound to a new bearer. The dwarf princess Raene now holds the timber wolf figurine. Hell bent on revenge, she drags Dirk, Krentz, and Chief along on a dangerous quest to stop the necromancer.
Aurora Snowfell has been raised from death as an undead lich. Unable to resist the necromancer’s power, she travels north with Azzeal and the growing undead hordes, getting closer to the barbarian island of Volnoss with every step.
Roakore has returned to his mountain kingdom and busied himself with the rebuilding. For six months Roakore has ignored his new abilities, but soon he will have to face the impossible truth.
Kellallea remains silent to the elves. Avriel and Zerafin are forced to watch helplessly as their mother, and many of the elders fall deathly ill. The once powerful elves of Elladrindellia have found themselves mortal for the first time in untold millennia.
I spent my youth in the land of make believe. School was a bore, and growing up in the "Boonies" without cable television forced me to use my imagination. If I wasn't holed up in my bedroom playing with my vast collection of action figures, I could be found in the forest with a wooden sword or staff in hand, battling the forces of evil. As an 80's kid, I was raised on a healthy diet of movies like Star Wars, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Goonies, and endless other classic (but strange) movies.
As a reader, I enjoy books that take off right out of the gate, sweep me off my feet, and whisk me away on an epic adventure. As an author, I try to create books that do the same for my readers. I write fantasy, and I suppose that I still live in a land of make believe, except now I get to share the adventure with others.
I hope that you will join me on my next adventure, and together we can escape reality, if only for a time.
Will is working to bring the people together and rebuild Agora. However, peace seems to be fleeting as another evil has surfaced. Whill and his friends will face greater enemies than ever before. This is an epic fantasy series you will not want to miss. The author has created a fantastic world full of a diverse cast of characters. It is a wonderful story. Highly recommend.
Another good tale in (so far) in a great series. I like a story that has me cheering the goods guys ( and even a couple not so good) and cursing the bad and tearing up at losses of some of the caricatures.
This makes the fifth book that I had a problem putting down. Michael drives me nuts and keeps me up at night until I finished the book. It has kept a good balance between highs and lows. Whills character has finally decided he isn't going to take being dumped on anymore. Again we are left on mountain our lives in the hands of Michael and we have to wait to find out what happens for who knows how long. Thanks Michael I hope you have #6 in the works a lot of us are waiting
I truly believe that this book is truly the best of the Whill of Agora series. Of course, Michael has left us hanging for book 6! Every character from the past books has his and her own story as the book unfolds. I have loved this whole series and more than likely will read them all again. To me these books are on an even par with Tolkien and Jordan for excellent fantasy and I highly recommend you discover the great worlds of Michael Ploof. Great book!
Sounds like after 5 books theres still waiting to be had for a conclusion. Although nothing in the after the end pages mentions book 6. Very discouraging! Now how long is the wait? It cant possibly be over yet. I never buy books till I know they're all written. Eventually I will forget about it but I wouldve liked to know how it all ends after so much time reading them.
There was so much going on in this book! I tried my hardest to make this one last until the next installment....but, that did NOT happen. I so love the writing style of this author. He gains my attention right at the beginning and is able to keep me enamored. I would suggest this series or any other by Michael James Ploof!
What can you say, magic, dragons, elves, dwarves, a great story that leaves you wanting more. Looking forward to the next book especially with the way book 5 ends . Thank you for a great read .
