This is a very important read to help fit together the backstory of Bittersweet Farm. It really helps explain the dynamics of the first few books

Fun series

This short story was way too short. Lockie is in the hospital, Lockie moves in with friend and fellow competitor, then Lockie gets job at Bittersweet. I do not feel like there is much within this book that wouldn't be known to BSF readers. I was hoping for more of a background before the accident and/or more current times. Lockie is a quiet individual who I am interested in learning more about.

Told from Lockie's point of view in journal format.

So GOOD!

Loved this story. So glad to finally know a little bit about Lockie's life before arriving at the barn. Can't wait for the next book!
