Beautiful and Dangerous Damon Black isn’t what Ariel Montgomery expects, not at all. Living with the all-consuming darkness of her tragic past, she’s always kept everyone and everything at a distance. And love? Impossible!
Not if she wanted her past to stay in the past or her dark secrets to remain se-crets. The future was never even a real possibility, but between Damon’s lyrical voice and devastating good looks, she’s finding it hard to stay away. Their white hot chemistry has her re-thinking everything. For the first time since she’s lost her family, Ariel dreams of a life she knows she’ll never deserve.
He’s determined to win her heart, body, and soul. But can she trust him? Trust his promise to save her from herself? Or will his attention be the final catalyst that breaks her forever?
Gina Sevani was born and raised in beautiful South Carolina. She learned quickly that she had mad love for reading romance, paranormal and everything in between.
One night, as she was trying to fall asleep fictional characters popped into her head and would not leave. Day after day she was running dialogue and creating stories while trying to perform daily tasks. Those amazing characters wanted to be heard.
As time passed, she kept them at bay convinced she didn’t have the ability to be an “Author”. But late one night, she sat down at the computer, deciding to see if her characters could come to life on the pages. When she finally took a deep breath, thousands of words filled the pages. Those words gave her the courage she needed to begin this incredible journey.
DNF @ 49%. I'm actually pretty confused as to how I'm a minority on this one...oh well.
Bummer. I'm actually surprised I lasted this long. The h was so obnoxious! I didn't get any of that impression from the sample, but almost immediately after the sample ended and the purchased portion began -- I started getting annoyed. There is way too much inner dialogue IMO, because I started skimming through the long parts of irrelevant information pretty much right away. She was extremely immature. I get that she had some type of trauma in her past , but no major details had been provided by 49%. I still don't feel like that trauma justifies her immature behavior. For example... I just couldn't stand her! I don't get why the H was so drawn to her -- and it wasn't the "golden vagina" thing either, because they've only kissed by the time I dnf'd. Oh!!!!! WAY too many exclamation points IMO!!! Even in whispers!!! <--- *insert sarcasm*. This is definitely a big pet peeve of mine, because it makes it hard to take the writing seriously when they're put in when they're really not necessary.
Sorry, I just couldn't do it. Too bad I lost the $2.99 on Amazon :(
Prepare to get lost in this book. From the opening page, it is difficult to put down and you will find yourself inhaling it right up until ‘The End’. It starts as a slow burn, but quickly speeds up the pace.
The story centers on Ariel and Damon. She’s a strong-willed waitress with a passion for music and a secret to keep. He’s a smoking hot singer in a band.
Ariel has experienced heartache and hardship, but she’s still full of passion and hope. Damon is the guy who knows what he wants: Ariel.
Currently, Damon is one of my favorite male lead characters. His pursuit of Ariel is swoon worthy. He’s not a game player. He’s clear about who he wants and what he has to offer her.
There are interesting secondary characters in this work who, hopefully, will get their own stories. Full of passion and strong characters, this book will grab hold of you and not let go. Highly recommended.
This was a total pick out of the box for me and I just decided to go with it. Im glad I did as this read was pretty good! The sexual tension though was completely off the charts. Damon goes down in book boyfriend history for one of the hottest. Ariel is closed off from the world. She has gone through too many tragic things in her life and is just walking through her day to day, not truly living it. Damon is a lead performer in the band that plays at big joe's bar where Ariel works. No matter how much Ariel wants to deny their attraction, she can't for long. What I enjoyed the least about this book was a little too much quote like soul searching talk. I'm a reader that likes more dialogue between characters than the lead POV just talking BUT that being said this is a debut novel! In which case makes this excellent!
An amazing debut for Gina Sevani. She grabs you with fantastic characters and a gripping story line that will have you devouring this book and wanting more at the end.
Damon is the right amount of brooding rock star attitude, won't take no for an answer alpha male and downright romantic soul.
Ariel is broken yet strong. Living a life of non-existance and thinking she is unlovable for a past she believe would send anyone screaming from her. So when Damon pushes his way into her life, she thinks someone is playing a joke on her. Why would the hottest guy around want anything to do with her.
I loved that no matter how hard Ariel pushed, Damon was there standing his ground.
I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and have decided to leave a voluntary review. Where do I begin when Gina approach to read her book I was really excited because I had her debut on my TBR for a little bit now. Now that I have Read beautifully damaged I'm so in love with the characters especially Damon. The man just oozes sex appeal and his talent is taken to another level and his heart is big. He's a totally sweetheart, mind you he wasn't always like that with other women, but with the right girl he fell into that roll perfectly. I can't wait to here more all about his story Ariel. And can't forget about his band mates Sean and Travis I adore them.
If you are planning on reading this book, prepare to find yourself unable to put it down until you’ve finished the very last page.
I started reading it thinking I’ll just sink myself in to a nice love story before going to sleep then before I know it, I’ve finished the book and only managed to get a wink of sleep in between. Wow! Talk about a page-turner! It is a love story. Yes, I am turning sappy again. Apologies to the world of fantasy and paranormal since that’s what I normally follow. BUT you just gotta read this book!
It’s full of passion, strong characters and a storyline which just gripped you and refuses to let go. The book will take you on a wild ride following Ariel, a strong-willed waitress at Dalton’s bar & restaurant who has a passion for music and a secret to keep. As well as an interest on Damon, the smoking hot singer of the band who performs at Dalton’s.
It’s quite refreshing to read about a male character who knew exactly what he wants without any games or drama. That something or someone is Ariel. I fell in love with Damon. Hands down one of the best book boyfriends to date. The relentless way he pursued Ariel just melted my heart.
Ariel, on the other hand, is a great female lead who showed strength, integrity and a will like no other. I ached for the hardships she suffered in her life and wished I was half the woman she was.
There were also a handful of side characters throughout the book with their own stories to tell. I imagine each one of them would be worthy of a book themselves and if Ms Sevani would write about them, I’m certain they will be awesome as well.
On a side note, the beginning of the book paced along slowly which happens usually when a story was being built. So far, that’s the only issue I found with it because after that I just literally devoured the book.
Take my word for it, YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS BOOK.
This is the first book that I have read from Gina and I do believe that it is her debut.
Ariel is the primary character, her family was murdered when she was a teen and the trauma haunts her to this very day. She is closed off to love and she is terrified of losing anyone else that she loves.
Gina really gave Ariel character she is strong, she can look out for herself and she is probably one of the most intriguing characters that I have read.
Damon is the lead singer in the bar/restaurant that Ariel works in resident band. There is something between them but Ariel isn't fond of Damon's womanising ways. Damon is one of those characters that when he falls he falls hard and he doesn't relent in his pursuit of Ariel, he is really quite sweet and this made for some brilliant yet hard scenes as I really felt for Damon and his fight for Ariel to lose the guilt for surviving and to bring her talents out where they belong.
This is extremely emotional and angsty, it's raw and beautiful and there is some incredible writing in this book.
This story was paced well up to the last 80% where it just felt very rushed, I've read this beautiful story that captured me and the ending just didn't gel with me, it was rushed and I needed more. This could have been a five star read if this was the case, I would definitely read more work from Gina, she really can pull you into a story and I really enjoyed Ariel and Damon's story.
I had the pleasure of being introduced to this amazing author through Facebook. I was able to purchase her debut novel for the bargain price of .99 but it is worth so much more. Gina weaves a tale of love mixed with mystery. The main female character, Ariel, is holding a devastating secret that will not allow her to love even though the man her heart has dreamed of is right in front of her. She resists the love she feels for Damon, lead singer in a band that plays at a bar where she waits tables. Damon is a "man whore" who could break what little is left of her shattered heart and leave her an empty shell. Yes you will want to read book 2 - Beautifully Devoted but this first book will leave you completely satisfied and yet still yearning for more of Ariel & Damon!! "I keep it all inside because I'd rather the pain destroy me, than everyone else." - author unknown.
This book is Amazing. It is funny, sexy, and you will probably need to take a cold shower lol. I can not wait to read the second book Beautifully Devoted.
Beautifully Damaged by Gina Sevani is intense! It is difficult to believe that this was her debut novel considering how well-written it was. This story was extremely emotional, deep, raw, and full of angst. It had me completely consumed from the first page to the very end and I devoured it within hours.
Ariel Montgomery is a waitress at Dalton's Bar, who is simply just passing time and floating through life at a distance from anyone who tries to get close. She is beautiful, damaged, broken, yet strong and has an incredible passion for music. Although it was a tragic event that caused her to lose her family, Ariel punishes herself daily and believes she is undeserving of love. To anyone on the outside, she seems to be a loner, but it's just her shield to the fear of losing anyone else she may come to love. Besides, if she ever let anyone in, they might discover the dark secrets of her tortured past.
Damon Black plays guitar and is the lead singer for the resident band at Dalton's. He is tall, dark, handsome, muscular, and has tattoos that every girl in the bar drools over. Except Ariel. She seems to be unaffected by Damon and this intrigues him. He has never talked to Ariel but the constant staring contests they engage in have him interested and he knows that she is different. He needs to know what she's hiding and what makes her so special.
When Damon approaches her, Ariel refuses to admit there is a connection between them. She doesn't want to believe that he has changed his ways, after clearly seeing him leave every night with a different girl on his arm. He has definitely had his fair share of women and Ariel is, in no way, that type of girl. She will not be just another conquest. But something in Damon really has changed and neither can deny that they are drawn to each other. There is certainly something between them and he isn't about to give up on finding out where the electricity comes from.
As they begin to spend more and more time together, Ariel realizes there is a lot more to Damon. He is jealous, has a temper, and is very protective of what's his, but he is sweet, determined, and beyond patient with her. Damon is clear on what he wants and that is to win, not only Ariel's body, but also her heart and mind. He brings out the best in her and before she knows what truly is happening, he is slowly knocking down the walls she worked so hard constructing around herself. But, can Ariel trust Damon? She know that it is only a matter of time before it's over and the inevitable heartbreak comes crashing down. She knew from the beginning that a happy future was impossible. Will she run, again or will Damon be the one running when he hears the truth about Ariel's hidden past?
Needless to say, Gina Sevani has left me wanting more from her. Beautifully Damaged was amazing and I'm dying to see what's coming next! The possibilities are endless. Will there be more to Damon and Ariel's story or will we get to hear about those secondary characters I love so much? I have to admit that Grams had me in giggling fits quite a few times. I am very excited to read more from Gina and I highly recommend you do the same. She's a very talented writer.
**Review on behalf of Your Next Hot Read** ~LisaRae
“No, love isn’t easy and perfect, but it could be a wonderful, crazy, perfect mess”
I’m stunned and will be nursing a bad book hangover after finishing this book. It was an absolute pleasure to read. However, it’s hard to write a review for because I want other readers to know how great it truly was. I hope I can accomplish that task!
Ariel is a beautiful, damaged soul, as the title suggests. She has some of the strongest walls erected around her heart that I have ever seen. She lets no one and I mean NO ONE break through those walls, except her beloved Grams. Damon is the sexy singer who performs in the restaurant/bar where she works. She’s noticed Damon and feels a pull toward him, but she knows he has the power to completely break her, so she watches him from afar. Guess what? Damon feels the same pull toward Ariel. One night he starts a conversation with her which later turns to flirting and leads to the two of them dancing around a relationship. But, every time he gets close, she runs. Will she finally stop running and allow herself to be happy?
I don’t think there has ever been a character that has pulled me into a story or into her heart as Ariel did. It’s so evident through Sevani’s awesome, descriptive writing that she is almost damaged beyond repair. I’m not ashamed to say every time that precious girl shed a tear, I did the same. I wanted to ease her pain just like Damon did. Damon’s soul was as beautiful as his body and face. He was so kind and patient with her. What woman wouldn’t swoon when a man tells her he will never run away from her but toward her? Be still my heart. Another character who captured my heart was Grams. I loved her hard, and the scenes between her and Ariel were some of my favorite. She reminded me of my own grandmother, and it made me grateful to have had the special relationship I had with her.
As far as the story goes, there is a lot of angst, but there had to be for the book to work. As you get to know Ariel, you will find out why. You will realize winning her heart will take patience and strength. Damon will have to work hard to do that! The building sexual tension was intense and explosive, but their big scene was worth all the frustration and waiting. The sex scenes were steamy, but they are some of the most beautiful I have ever read. They don’t just make you hot, but they engage your heart.
As I was reading, it was hard for me to believe this was Gina Sevani’s first novel. I would never have guessed that from the descriptive way she writes. While this book doesn’t end of a cliffhanger, I am wondering if this is the end of their story. I think there are some secrets our sexy Damon is hiding. There are some other characters whom I believe have a story too…I hope so! I am eagerly awaiting Sevani’s next book!
***Read and Reviewed for Devilishly Delicious Book Reviews***
“Damon was tall, dark, and handsome as the saying goes: mysterious, tattooed, and very muscular with broad, defined shoulders – at least six foot-two – and the most crystal-blue eyes I had ever seen.” Ariel played like she was unaffected to those around her to keep up her “loner image”. Having experienced more than her share of loss and heartache, she decided it was better to push everyone away and keep to herself as much as possible. Her Grams was all she needed in her life now. Damon had his share of admirers/followers but Ariel’s indifference to him has him intrigued. He knew she was special and had to get to know her better. Her constant rejection to his advances was no deterrent. He decides to give her the room and time she needs to realize life is too short to live alone and not with those who love her. Little did he know one of her secrets would bring them together in a way he never intended. I cannot wait for more in this story!! There are so many options. Gram’s story (please more Gram!!). Damon’s story. More of Ariel and Damon. Trish’s story… There was great development without leaving you totally hanging, but just enough to keep you wanting more. The internal struggles with Ariel of not inviting more pain, but at the same time she acknowledges there are people who have lost more than her. It doesn’t make her pain any less significant, but it shows her heart. The people in her life see her struggles, but know to tell her anything is pointless. She has to find peace within herself to allow others in. She has to learn to participate in the life around her, not just live in it. It allows insight that all of us have our own unique stories of loss and pain, and it is ok to have those emotions. BUT, to remember to not let it take over your life and destroy all the good you still have along with the memories.
This book needs a warning and I’m here to tell you what that is. This book is going to consume your thoughts, time, and overall, your emotions. I thought that I would be able to start this book late last night for a light read before I headed to bed. I read for a while and then got ready for bed. When my head hit the pillow I thought I would be able to fall asleep quickly, but instead I kept think about Ms. Sevani’s characters. So what did I do? I did what any reader would do— I turned on my lamp and kept on reading. Next thing I know I’ve read the WHOLE ENTIRE book. Saying the story is a page-turner is an understatement.
Ariel is a young woman who punisher’s herself with the past, unable to move forward. She once has everything she could ever hope for until one event changed her life forever. Now she has a simple life, hiding away at Dalton’s bar working and keeping everyone at bay— especially hot, sexy leading singer, Damon.
Damon is a lead singer of the band and a man who knows exactly what he wants without any games or drama. He’s had his share of woman every night, but when his eyes catch on Ariel, he has a feeling that he’d want more. Problem is Ariel isn’t give him the time of day and she’s doesn’t think he’s serious. Ariel is a challenge that he’s willing to work for because she’ll give in. They all do. She just doesn’t know it yet.
It’s full of passion, strong characters and a solid storyline that will grip you long after you finish the story. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves a good live story. (No Cliffhanger!)
~Tempting Sexy Thoughts Book Blog (Received a copy for an honest review.)
Gina provided me with an copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is Gina's debut novel and I easily give it 4.5 stars for a first time effort. Her writing flows nicely, and the story pace was perfect. I wanted to know what tragedy had impacted Ariel so badly that she felt she had to live her life with no emotions, that I couldn't stop turning the pages. And sweet Jesus, Damon was written so hot that I wanted him!! The story focuses on a young woman, (Ariel) punishing herself for a past she wishes she could change, and the man, (Damon) that might finally be able to show her it's ok to move on and forgive herself. Ariel, who once had everything she could have ever hoped for, lives simply, and hides away in the bar she works at, keeping herself and her feelings distant from everyone. Enter Damon. He is a hot, talented singer who can have a different girl every night, and sometimes does. His band performs regularly at the bar Ariel works at, so she's very familiar with his extracurricular activities after hours. When Damon sets his sights on her, she can't deny the electricity that sparks between them both, but the last thing she wants or needs is to be another notch on his bed post. He'll do his best try and convince her that she's changed everything for him, but Ariel's walls won't break easily. Wanna find out if he does? Read the book! I don't want to give anymore away, but hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did. It's a quick read, and does provide a nice HEA, which means NO cliffhangers!!
Beautifully Damaged starts off with a sixteen year old Ariel Montgomery who lost everything one fateful day. Flash forward to the present, Ariel is a waitress who hides behind the tragedy of her past. Damon Black is the lead singer of the band who plays the restaurant/bar where Ariel works. When you throw these two together...it's dynamite! Get ready for the explosion!
You won't be able to turn the pages quick enough!
Damon Black is the epitome of book boyfriends. I fell, and fell for him hard! Once Damon has his mind made up, there's no stopping him and he wants a certain petite dark haired waitress who constantly ignores him, or does she?
Ariel is good at hiding her emotions.
She's positive that Damon Black is after only one thing. He has the reputation, but does he have what it takes to change his manwhore ways and win over Ariel's battered heart?
Is Ariel even capable of allowing herself forgiveness? Is she willing to let someone else into her life after her tragic past? You'll just have to read the book to find out!
Don't miss out on this one! Damon Black stole my heart!
While reading this novel, I caught myself laughing out loud and at times near tears. To me, these are both signs of a really great book. I can't wait to read more from Gina Sevani!
Terrific read! I came across Beautifully Damaged by word of mouth. I have so many books on my TBR list, but something about this book intrigued me. Once I started it, I could not put it down. I had two VERY late nights trying to devour this book. I was sucked into the storyline and the characters immediately.
Ariel Montgomery has a past she would like to forget, but just her very existence made living a normal life relive one fateful day six years ago. Allowing love in her future, was not a risk she was willing to take. Because in the end, she knew in her heart and soul that it would end with her being broken and alone.
Damon Black, the gorgeous lead singer of a band that always had a standing gig at the bar where Arial worked. Damon is a man that most women flock to. He’s undeniably a swoon worthy guy and once he gets his sights set on Ariel he makes it his mission to earn her trust.
I am not one to give spoilers on books, but I will tell you that this is a must read. I laughed, cried, and became emotionally invested in these characters. I am so excited to read book 2 in the series. Job well done, Ms. Gina Sevani!
When Damon sings, Ariel cannot seem to look away. It's like they are the only people in the room. Damon sees Ariel watching him, and knows he has to have her. What Damon wants, he gets.
Ariel has had her share of loss, and is afraid to love someone, for fear of losing them too. Damon sees in Ariel, a strong and independent woman, with a tough exterior. He is determined to break through that exterior, because he feels that inside is a loving and passionate woman. Ariel doesn't know why she is drawn to Damon, and she keeps trying to resist his advances. Damon is persistent though, and will not give up on her. Can Damon get her to open up to him? Will Ariel tell him the truth about why she is afraid of love? Will Damon stand by her and help her to take the risk of love? Or will he run when he learns the truth about her past? Or will Ariel be the one to run, too afraid to be hurt? This book was so amazing, and I can't wait to read Beautifully Devoted!

***Review given on behalf of obsessed by books ***
Ariel is just trying to exist. She's working at a local bar, yeah she had dreams but her dreams involved her and her family and with them gone she's just trying to live, she's not looking to make life long friends or to falling in love but that was before she gave into Damon Black. Damon is lacking women at all but the one he wants isn't giving him the time of day and that makes him want her that just much more, she's different and that makes her perfect. When Damon convinces Ariel to be friends they both know it's more than that, but Ariel knows once Damon knows the truth about her he will run and she can't take a chance on being hurt anymore, but Damon doesn't give up when he wants something. Omg these two are amazing, I don't know why I waited so long to read it. absolutely my top favorite 5 star read.
Beautifully Damaged was a great read. I did take a little bit to get into the book however once I was I did, I did not want to put it down. I absolutely fell in love with Damon. Ariel has a dark past and is afraid to get close to anyone. She however finds herself unable to keep her eyes off Damon and is drawn to him, not just for his looks either. Damon tries to break Ariels walls down and have her see she can trust him. Throughout the book Damons main concern is if Ariel is truly ready for what he has to offer. Will she continue to allow her past to interfer with her future? Will Damon be able to accept her once he knows her deepest secrets? For Ginas debut book I gladly give her a 4.5 for the book flow, characters, plot, and overall experience. I can't wait to see what she has coming in the future, she's definitely an author to watch out for.
Holy moly, Gina, what a fantastically written book. It had me right from the start. I loved they way Ariel (Juliet) was a damaged soul and how Damon ( Romeo) just knew he was to be there for her. I loved how Ariel didn't give up, even knowing the darkness she thought was in her, and how she decided to trust even when she found it so hard. Damon, OMG, now I just love him, what a guy. Where are those guys???? ;-). I can see you has a story there with him, and can't wait to hear that one. Also you have made all the characters have there own story whether it's small or big, Thanks Gina for allowing me to read this amazing book, I will be add I you to my TBR reading list. Can't wait for the next one or any others ones after them.
There was so much in this book i loved Damon ! Hot singer in a band ! he is funny, romantic and swoon worthy intense. I loved how he knew what he wanted and went after it and didn't give up when he met road blocks. Ariel (i love this name and the reason why ) is a broken and scared girl with attitude and sass she just needed they RIGHT guy to come along and show her love and how to have fun. and we cannot for get Gram omg i loved that woman so funny i see where Ariel got it from i want to adopt her and make her my Gran ! throughout the whole book i was cheering on Damon and Ariel through their journey to find love.

ARC received on behalf of bookalicious babes blog!!
I have all these emotions running through my heart, body, and soul. Heart breaking, heart melting Beautifully Damaged has made me fall!!!! Sometimes you have to fall to find out you're unbreakable… even when you're beautifully damaged the pieces fix themselves. All you have to do is put everything you have left in the hands of another person. Trust, love, and let go. If only it was that easy.....
Find out why Ariel and Damon's Beautifully Damaged story is Breathtakingly Beautiful. They say "Life is measured not by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away." The main characters Ariel and Damon will steal your heart and take your breath away with each page you turn. Get ready to fall.
Bound by what happened in her past, will Ariel allow love into heart knowing what it feels like to lose it all.
This book was an easy read with both main characters easy to relate to. I loved Ariel's sassy attitude and Damon's cheeky wit. There was so many characters introduced in this book that I liked in their own right, where I look forward to reading their stories soon.
If I was to criticise anything about this book, it was the rush at the end, throughout the book you are on a slow burn of where the story is heading but then it just ends, no more added. There doesn't need to be a full explanation, it just doesn't make me think that there is more to come in this story.
But all in all I loved this book and I look forward to reading more from this author.
I started reading Gina Sevani when she and Marie James published a fan fiction Psychosis. That book was mmmm mmmm good!!! So I decided to check out other books by both these authors. The story of beautifully damaged is a girl with a past that she thinks no one will understand. She keeps to herself and works hard. She doesn't feel like she deserves to be happy or have love until someone comes along that challenges her. He wants to be in her life and not just a one night stand but a forever kind of thing. Everyone has there secrets. Relationships are hard work, take understanding, patience and an amazing guy willing to break through your walls to prove he is in for the long haul.
What a fabulous debut by Gina Sevani! I devoured this book...the story was so gripping and emotional. I loved Damon, his intensity, his depth, his unwillingness to take no for an answer. A guy who knows what he wants and stops at nothing to get it. Super hot. And Ariel, I really felt for her...the pain and trauma that clouded her life was heart wrenching. But despite her past, she was so strong, never fully succumbing to the despair. The final chapter brought tears to my eyes. So powerful. Excellent read! I look forward to more from this author!
How do you heal a heart that is broken? She doesn't want fixed and she doesn't think she can be. But she can heal. Ariel is a strong female character who is growing and maturing through out the book. Damon is a sweet book boyfriend. The interactions between these two characters can be frustrating in more way than one. Wink wink. Grams is a strong secondary character that at times makes the story. The writing is smooth and flows well. No cliff hanger for those of you that hate that. I would recommend this read if your looking for a sweet romance with a HEA
First of all, The Little Mermaid, one of my favorites.
Girl hides her past. Walls are up. Boy is an alpha, singer/guitarist with women throwing themselves at him. Boy feels a pull towards girl.
This book made me laugh with the banter, cry when we learn of the past, and want to shake Ariel. The words flowed and sucked me in where I was lost in the world of Gina's mind and loved every minute of it. Looking forward to more from thus author.
When an author states," her main goal when it comes to writing is to make you feel some things anything", one might think those are pretty words. Gina Sevani totally delivered on that statement and so much more! If you read only one book in your lifetime this is a must read! It is not your common man meets woman love story, it is so much more. I cannot recommend this book enough. It deserved far more than the five stars Amazon and Goodread allots. Gina Sevani is by far one of the best authors I have read and I read a hell of a lot of books!
