Keisha & Trigga #1

Keisha & Trigga : A Gangster Love Story

Rate this book
Ain't NOTHING like a thug...except maybe a fine ass thug with a trigger finger that has no mercy...

Forever the good girl, Keisha can't help that she has an attraction for bad boys. So when she meets Lloyd AKA Black, a rich street king who ruthlessly runs Atlanta and everything in it, she has no problem shedding her good girl image to be his coke-addicted ride or die. But there is one problem---his wife Dior who Lloyd is NOT divorcing although he tells Keisha a different story. After a turn of events that almost ends in bloodshed for Lloyd and Dior at her hands, Keisha swears to never do coke again, goes back to the stripclub, and takes back her job as a bartender. And it is there that she meets Trigga...

Trigga is a boss nigga with an attitude. He's all business and making money but he has a mean, sexy swag that makes him effortlessly attract women. One night, he's in Pink Lips when he sees Keisha, but he's not there for pleasure...he's there for business. And his business involves putting a bullet straight through Lloyd's skull. What he soon finds is that Lloyd won't be an easy mark and one mistake ends up placing him and Keisha in the hospital fighting for their lives. When Trigga wakes up, the first person on his mind is Keisha--the woman he met who he now feels obligated to protect. And Kiesha is all too ready to allow him to do so as long as she can keep her best kept secrets regarding Lloyd underwraps.

Dior Mitchell-Evans has been cheated on one to many times by her husband, Lloyd, and she decides once and for all that she won't continue to take it lying down. So she enlists the only man she knows just might love her more than Lloyd to help her with her plans...Lloyd's cousin, Kenyon. Although Kenyon and Lloyd were raised like brothers, Kenyon can't hide the fact that he's loved Dior throughout the years and he won't stand by idly any longer as Lloyd continues to use and abuse her.

Love and betrayal sometimes fall hand in hand. But when you fall in love in the streets, you can guarantee that betrayal will soon come. This isn't the typical 'good girl meets thug' tale. This is classic romance meets thug love and it will leave you wanting more.

I wanted to give this a 2 1/2. It wasn't completely a 3 but still not a 2. I enjoyed this read but I really didn't get much of Keisha & Trigga's gangster love. I thought Keisha was stupid for Lloyd. I will be reading part 2. Hopefully then I can get a love story.

I didn’t think I’d enjoy this because Keisha was a mess from jump. The whole situation with Dior and Lloyd was proof enough that she was going to be a bit touched in the head. Trigga, I really wanted him to win in this one. The story was a bit predictable though. From the second Trigga started trying to figure out what was going on at the club with Mase I knew what was going to happen. On to the next one though.

omg this book leaves me wanting more. This is a different kind of hood love story, not the typical predictable ones I am use to. Keisha makes me want to slap some serious common sense into her. I hate Trigga's chosen profession, but it's something about his style that I love lol. This is not a stand alone book, so on to part 2.

Good book

I cannot believe Mase' s hatred for Griggs. I don't understand how Trigga did not figure out what was happening to Mase when they were younger. I am glad Keisha got her life together. Now Keisha and Trigga need to get on the same page. Kenyon and Dior are not the smartest they deserved to be caught. I wonder what is going to happen to Lloyd. On to book 2.

Not sure...

I loved the story line and the potential that this story actually has, it just takes a little time to get to the meat and bones of it. I most definitely will be reading part two to see how the story unfolds and to see how Trigga and Keisha finally get together.

Wow!

Some times family can do you worse than strangers! Trigga and Mase’s mother abuse caused him to hate his own twin and set them on the crazy oath they are on. Lloyd is just selfish and I can’t wait to see him get his. I look forward to seeing how Keisha develops.

Umm Porscha and Leo I hope you guys have started part 2! It took a minute for Trigga to connect the dots as far as his connection with Keisha but I can't wait to see how he handles everything. In a way I felt bad for Keisha knowing everything Lloyd had put her through and it seemed as if once she got her life back on track things began to change. I couldn't stand Lloyd at all. He was always taking things a little too far and wanted to stay with Dior for all of the wrong reasons. I understood Dior felt some type of way about how she was treated but turning to someone so close plus not thinking her plan through completely was crazy. She put herself in that situation by continuing to forgive her no good husband. Kenyon almost found himself in a messed up predicament and him resorting to what he's doing isn't going to help much. I don't even know where to start with Mase. So much for being his brothers keeper. His hatred ran so deep and towards the wrong person. Once Trigga and Keisha finally had the opportunity to see where things could go everything took a drastic turn. I'm just hoping Trigga will get the answers he need and realizes the one closest to him wouldn't hesitate to destroy him. But can Mase just die already because he's taking up unnecessary space in the book with all the dumb mess he stay on? Hopefully Keisha and Trigga will be able to put their speculations about each other to rest and focus on building something together.

A real love story

A great read. This book is full with envy, jealousy, cheating, disloyalty, betrayal, and hatred. I like how Trigga is ruthless, all business, and family oriented and has a gentle side of him. Keisha came along at a time in her life when she needed someone to show her some kindness even though she doesn't know it's him. Everything is linked with her. With both side thinking she's setting them up and she thinking everybody out to kill her. A good read is all I can say.

Trigga was so intrigued with Keisha & vice versa. Neither one knew why. Lloyd was a man who had a wife who he just kept doing wrong over & over again. She finally got fed up & tried to do something about it but ended up regretting it in the long run. His counsin betrayed him in the worst way. Now Lloyd is in jail but may get out. If he do could everybody be in trouble or will he just let it go. Trivia has to choose who is lying to him is it Keisha or his own brother Mase. Who is he to trust his own blood or a girl he just met & fell for. On to part 2 to find all the answers to the questions.

LOVE IT!!!

I was getting kind of tired of the same ol hood love stories because they all kind of follow the same story line. This one was different. It's kind of like a suspenseful movie with hood characters. I LOVED it. I can't wait to start on part two. I know the plot will thicken with Mase, Trigga, Kenyon n Lloyd as well as the ladies in this interesting series...I can't wait...

Wow

That was so good. I thought it was going to be just another gangster love story but it took me by surprise. I am loving the story. I like what's happening between Keisha and Trigger and they haven't even been intimate yet. But the brothers have some serious issues. The thing I like most is that there's crime, drama love and also some funny parts too. I'm about to get into part 2 right now. You gotta read this.

I couldn't put the book down. I have always wanted to read this book, and I keep saying, I'll read it next,I'll read it next. But I knew for sure that I will read it. Well finally I did, and I'm mad I didn't read it before. OMG from start to finish the bomb.com! Read it in a few hours, it was that good! One good thing though, I don't have to wait for part two.....unto part two! Awesome read! Great job!

OMG!!

Keisha & Trigga's story had me captivated from the beginning, and I'm glad Porscha and Leo didn't disappoint! But I gotta know: will Lloyd beat the case? What's gonna happen with Dior and Kenyon? And the most important question: does Trigga believe Keisha or his brother? Don't keep me waiting too long for part 2!!

Confused

This books title will leave you confused I'm still wondering why this book is titled Keisha and Trigga. This book was solely centered around Lloyd and who was plotting against him although Keisha and Trigga didn't make an appearance. This book was not a love story and it couldn't hold my interest.

Trigga and Keisha have been put through hell and back. Both are being hurt and betrayed by the people close to them.. they are fighters but how much is enough.. This book left me yearning for more and ready to see how their lives end up after all the secrets and lies are exposed

Good read!!! Want more. No loyalty from no one. Trisha & Keisha need to realize that they have a attraction towards each other. Mase is dead wrong for turning one his twin brother Trigger. I was glad when Lloyd got arrested hope he don't get out. Dior and Kenyon was wrong for getting together no loyalty at all. Can't wait for part 2.

Keisha and Trigga

This was a great read. This was not the typical gangster love story. It was a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns. Drama, drama and more drama. I really love Keisha and Trigga together. Reading this book was like watching a movie. All I needed to have was a large popcorn and a Pepsi. Looking forward to part 2.

Loved this story even though the main character was an addict she was able to get clean and Trigger was her savior. I guess the saying isn't true in this story "Blood is Thicker than Water" Triggers twin is really dirty
