The story was pretty good but the fact that Devon didn't worry that Joshua might be hurt or die if he tried to challenged Thomas was off putting. All Devon seemed to think about was challenging the alpha.

While so many shifter/human mating stories suffer from the why-would-he-do-that-so-quick kind of lack of credibility, I thought this one, while rushed, kind of put in place the kind of circumstances that make it more believable. I liked both characters and found them charming and sexy. A quick fun read.
