Good descriptions of how the subject felt as he ran through the woods. I kept thinking the author's job is not to make you read about the situation, it's to make you FEEL the situation. I thought he did this pretty well.
My only criticism was the ending...seemed to be something lacking in that same sort of descriptive writing.
Overall I enjoyed it...good quick read which is what I was looking for.
Did not build character up, so no empathy for him. The description of what was happening was well written and would like to read a full novel with a full plot by this writer. This was like reading a final chapter of a book.
