Its really an amazing book. There is no amalgamation of different events of indo-pak rulers and dynasties. Everything has been explained categorically. This helped me a lot in understanding the chain of events that took place in indo-pak. Now I've a fair idea of everything about its history, events , culture at different time periods.

A new history of indo-Pakistan upto 1526 A.C by Prof K.Ali is a concise and explicit description of ancient and medieval history of IndoPak.
The book render the glimpses of reign of different rulers from ancient to medieval era. The emergence of different religion of the region, and their impacts upon the social and political life of the rulers and indigenous people.
The book provides, in its compilation, different sources from ancient to modern literature, which helps in balanced assessment of situations and events.
There are certain shortcomings in stated part of the book, which are the spelling mistakes and they could be due to lack of proofreading and I am looking forward not to have observe the same mistakes in the second part of the book "Since 1526 A.C".
