Now available as a bundle box set, all four books in the Montana Passion Brides series.
Book 1 : Bargain For A Bride. When Lady Moira Brennan leaves her home at Brennan Castle for the wilds of her own homestead claim in the Montana territory, she had no idea that a husband awaited her. Sold into marriage by her uncle, she arrives to find a bleak landscape of scarce farmers, all desperately trying to scratch out a living on their claims. Pryor MacAteer came to Montana himself only three years ago, and his farm has prospered. All that he needs to make it complete is a wife and family, one whose passage he paid, and whose name is on the marriage contract. Will Moira realize her dream of owning her own land and uncover the truth behind a marriage contract with her name on it?
Book 2 : Freedom For A Bride. When Nathaniel Russell received the wonderful news that the bride he'd written off for would be arriving in New Hope, Montana, it was the happiest he'd felt since arriving to settle his claim. And when the strikingly beautiful but somewhat exotic-looking Katia stepped off the train, his heart leapt at the fulfillment of their months of exchanging letters. But Katia carries secrets that no one in the town expected, secrets that run deep enough to keep them apart forever.
Book 3 : Adventure For A Bride. When Anna Mae Flynn passes away, leaving three small children and a husband with a harvest to bring in, the only logical answer is to find Wyatt another wife... quick. He fights everyone at first, even himself, but he knows their logic is sound and their hearts are in the right place. But Millie Carter is nothing like Wyatt's dear Anna Mae, a fact that his grief causes him to point out at every turn. Can Millie win over a heartbroken man, or will the next train through New Hope take her home?
Book 4 : Dreaming Of A Bride. When Torsten O'Conner's false love leaves him for another man, he decides a change of scenery just might be in order. His brother, Kieran, is now the mayor of New Hope, Montana, and the prospect of putting Ireland far behind him and starting fresh as a homesteader in America might be just the thing. But the life of a homesteader isn't just hard, it's brutally lonely. At his friends' urging, Torn writes off for a wife from the east only to have a villain from his past arrive on the train. Can Torn let go of his old feeling and put down his demons in order to take a chance on love?
I am a shameless romance addict with no intentions of ever kicking the habit. Growing up I dreamed of entertaining people and taking them on fantastical journeys with my acting abilities, until I came to the realization as a college sophomore that I had none to speak of. Another ten years would pass before I discovered a different means to accomplishing the same dream: writing stories of love and passion for addicts just like me.I have always loved romance stories and I try to tie all the elements I like about them into my writing.
3.5 stars-*review based on all 4 books as a total. This is a set of 4 books all set in the same location of New Hope, MT. Moira & Pryor are the H/h in the first book and become the touchstone/common thread that ties all the stories together. They're likable characters. I liked how each book flowed into the other so it was easy to read all of them in one sitting. It was an overall slowly developing story of romance & family in MT throughout the 4 books. And while this is a historical romance, there were some realistic historic details in the descriptions of the area, the travel from various areas in the world, the people, the issues the new settlers in the West would have incurred, etc. which was a nice touch by the writer. For exs, Moira is a noble in Ireland but in MT, she is just a regular citizen like everyone else who's newly settled there. Or in the 2nd book, Katia is an immigrant from Russia who doesn't speak much English. (much like many of the newly arrived immigrants to America in the 1800's.) Overall, it was an easy read w/pleasing characters & sweet stories. FYI: clean romances w/no sex scenes and only a few kisses.
Thank you to the writer for providing me w/a free copy of the ebooks. Because I'm currently dealing w/my yearly winter cold, this was the perfect breezy read while i sit in bed w/my box of tissues & cold medicine.
A great series. From start to finish you get to start right out with a scary escape, a heart wrenching reunion of a family, a broken man and a jilted man. A town that remains united and time travel where mail-order brides are the way of life in a new frontier. I loved this series! Book gifted to me.
Mail Order Bride - Montana Passion 4 Book Box Set from Amelia Rose is a very exciting clean romance. The story takes place in Montana. Amelia will not disappoint you if you are looking for a book where many unexpected things happen. The characters of the book are realistic and great and you get to know them well. This book provides some exciting hours of reading pleasure.
Each of these four books are written in a way to make then equivalent to one another. Not one fell short of being a wonderful love story. Each book showed the love of deserving couples and the people who were important to them. Wonderful books made to enjoy, thank you, Jack.
An enjoyable box set. I found the stories to be well written and fun to read. The storylines in each book kept my attention and I was able to loose myself for awhile in the characters adventures. Had a bit of everything Romance and excitement. well worth reading.
Having the box set, you go from the first book to the 4th book without stopping. A very sweet read about Brides that went West to find a husband. But also have rough it was living in Montana and dealing with the elements and building a life in the wild west. Good easy books to read.
I loved each story. Book 1 was about Moira and Pryor who meet under unusual circumstances. He was expecting a mail order bride, she was expecting to make good on her claim. They both got more than they expected in the bargain and helped to create a community for New Hope. Book 2 is the continuation of the story. We met Nathaniel in Book 1 and he is expecting his mail order bride now. But she is not what he expected and has some secrets that appear to derail the marriage but are actually a foundation for it. There is a language barrier thrown in as well. This was another fun listen. Katia gets all that she hoped for and more in this deal and Nate gets the love of his life. The angst is so funny in this one. i loved that Gretchen found love in this one also. Book 3 is a story of love rising out of the ashes of tragedy. Anna Mae is the love of Wyatt's life and holds him prisoner even though she is dead. This causes problems for the mail order bride that Wyatt is cohersed into sending for because he has three children who need help while he does what it takes to keep his land. This was a continuation of the story and brought in more characters and more love stories within the story. Book 4 was the funniest one of all. A five foot seven fully muscled man is the one having the problems. He longs for love after a terrible heartbreak but can't seem to catch a break in finding it. So many mishaps and delays but true love proved to be an elusive goal but it did finally happen.
This author Amelia Rose is a new author to me. I had the wonderful chance to read her box set books . This books pulled you into the story line. It was very hard for me to stop reading her books as because i wanted to see what was going on and to see what was going to happen next in the story. Can't wait to read more books from this author.
