Dense at the end, but a great supplement to the in-person training

This is a toolkit as much as a book. I recommend it to anyone looking to expand their ability to improve the self-directedness of colleagues and employees. One caveat: I advise taking a Cognitive Coaching training or at least engage in a group study around this text. The ideas are something to be applied and practiced repeatedly in order to gain proficiency in supporting others' growth.

A fantastic resource. I've been reading through this book for the past year since having taken the Cognitive Coaching training. The training and the book have both been illuminating and have strengthened my belief that every educator can benefit from coaching.

Practical and helpful when working with a group and trying to get the most out of groups! It is especially useful as a resource following the 8 day cognitive coaching training!
