*No spoilers in this review unless you haven’t read the first two books in the series*

Julia Sykes did it again!! I DEVOURED this book in less than two hours because I was so very eager to get to the evilness that I was sure was coming. And although this was NOT as sinful as Sykes’ prior works such as CZAR or MENTOR, it did keep me greedily turning the pages.

I’m a morbid little fan of twisted romances, and what drives me to read this series is not so much Ian and Lissa’s love story or even how it evolves (even though it is sexy as all hell). It’s more Lissa’s strength in overcoming Alik’s conditioning and and also overcoming the love/obsession of these two super-alpha males who are both enamored with her.

The sub-storyline of the treacherous mother-daughter relationship is quite intriguing as well and I cannot wait to see where it all leads! I’m still hoping for some evil Alik/Lissa love scenes but regardess of what is coming, I can’t wait for the next installment!!!

Subject picks up right where Spy dropped us on our bums. From the first paragraphs I was hooked and couldn't stop reading.

Lissa find out a little bit more about who Alik really is and how he has positioned himself into her life. Alik then begins the whole reprogramming of Lissa and she does her best to resist him at every turn. Ian is devastated and angry when he realized Lissa has left him. He does everything with in his power to get her back. Along the way his investigation takes a very interesting turn.

This story is extremely riveting. My mind was captivated trying to stay a step ahead of the plan but just when I think I have it all mapped out I'm completely wrong. Once again, as I've made my way back to civilization, I'm thrown again off another cliff into the precipice of, need more now!!!!

What I love about Julia Sykes books is their unpredictability. I never know which direction her stories are going to take.

Ian and Lissa are no exception. Even though its good fighting evil. The good ones are always walking that thin line. I wanted to scream at Ian, right from the beginning, Put her in witness protection.

This story is heading for one explosive finish, no pun intended as far as salvation go.

Then there is Alik. Just who is he? How does he know Ian? Will Lissa ever be happy, without a thought being put in her head? Does she really love Ian?

See what you do to my brain Julia Sykes! I can never just read one of your books. I have major conversations in my head after. I feel like Lissa, only you can make me happy Julia. I want, no NEED the next book please!!!

Whoa! Talk about edge of your seat tension. I think we've ratcheted our thrill ride by a few degrees with this one! Alik is out of control. But as with all Julia Sykes's "villains" there's always a bigger picture for what we see as madness. And the sex between Ian and Lissa is off the charts hot! I'm so hooked, I can't stop reading and wanting desperately to know how things are going to wrap up! Great job!

Seriously, this story is so good, how does someone control another person's mind, crazy, cannot put this book, down! Ian is fighting against these terrorists, undercover, then unsuspecting Lissa whom her therapist Alik(is a terrorist), has her hypnotized or brainwashed? This is so intense, so much action, sexual tension, suspense, so cannot wait for bk.4, excellent job Julia!

Another great installment in the Renegade series. Brilliant illustration of sensory deprivation and gave me chills thinking about how scary that must be. Poor Lissa. And Ian doesn't know how to handle Lissa being missing. And Alik. Let's just say I hope Alik gets his comeuppance. The story continues to keep me intrigued and I can't wait for part 4

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I cannot get enough of these three! A lot of different emotions flow while reading about Alik, Lissa and Ian. Anger, pity and frustration at all of them! The story is great and keeps you on your toes wanting more!

This book was crazy I was not expecting a lot of what happened in the book. The plot thickens! Lol, can't wait to see what happens in the next book and how Lissa and Ian will manage when the odds are against them.
