I loved the story of Dominic and Aleena! This 6 part series kept me completely enthralled. I couldn't wait to start the next book and the next. Now I'm dying to read the prequal Craving him! Better review to follow but this is a MUST READ!!!
*This is for the first half of the book, but I needed to write stuff down before I forgot, the second half review is at the end*
I listened to this one and while I normally like the male voice and generally enjoy when the male reads the whole book this one was harder for me to separate when it was the female pov vs the male pov. and since there were distinct chapters with pov change this story would have benefited from a female voice.
For the story. I am starting to get into to the d/s reading, but what bothers me is when the sub gets punished for the smallest infraction or perceived infraction while the dom can make a huge mistake and gets away with an apology or nothing at all. I know this dom is new to the relationship part of the role but that does not make it ok to ignore his sub. And HE IS SHIT at aftercare, it is a wonder the Aleena keeps coming back. He even talks about sending home a trained sub crying (THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN) he should be there for the sub until she is calm enough to leave.
He talks about how Aleena needs to trust him, but he has never given her a reason to trust him. Poor thing keeps getting lead on, he wants her and then fails her time and again. and yet she is the one physically punished for his waffling ways and emotions.
He is tender with people he meets but cant be tender in bed? With both Aleena and the decorator he is tender and caring about their messed up situations but then has a block about the same actions in a relationship. The other strange part about his character is his back story; he was obviously kidnapped and abused and can stand the thought of being controlled again, sooooo he has to control others knowing what that did to him?
Thank goodness for Fauna, who can call him out on his shit
This is one of my longer reviews but bdsm is a topic that if it is written poorly can have an impact on the reader, who does not know much about it and may want to try it, and if they use poor representations of bdsm as examples then it can endanger one or both people involved either physically and/or mentally.
*Second half of the book* He gets better with the aftercare part, a bit
major plot hole with the pics, she should have been able to tell they were taken that eve of the party b/c of clothes and she knew the shit show that was, so should not have jumped for the bait.
They as a couple, in the bdsm proper protocols get better
This was a really long book and normally I am wanting more from a book, I dont want the story to end but wow, I was ready for the end of this one. Over 16 hr on audio and i was done at 9hr. And then when it finally ended, it just ended, there was a bit of talk about how they met and how it all started and then it ended, no epilogue, no true resolution of the story lines, almost like the author was getting tired of the story as well and just wrapped it up in the last 6 minutes.
I’m dizzy from the constant ‘will they?’ ‘Won’t they?’ action but it’s damn good
First things first... this box set is a little misleading. Each book is very short and in all honesty, it could just be one complete book. However, it doesn’t detract from the story. If I’d bought them as individual titles I’d be a bit annoyed, but it works as a full box set... particularly on the kindle app.
If you’d told me even six months ago I’d be into books of this genre, particularly books that had anything to do with bdsm, I’d have laughed until I passed out. This isn’t the first MS Parker book I’ve read, but it’s certainly the most graphic in terms of the sexual content. However, what surprises me is how Parker always manages to make these preferred sexual practices less sleazy and, well... romantic. Even though there is always that element of control, it’s always consensual and respectful.
So, Serving HIM. The HIM being Dominic Snow... CEO of the Winter Corporation... the gorgeous, business focussed billionaire with a big heart but a troubled past that has stopped him from opening that big heart up to anyone. He’s never felt fulfilled, never felt loved or wanted, particularly by his socialite adoptive parents. Until he meets Aleena.
Aleena is a small town girl that has moved to New York to find herself. To build a future, a career, but she doesn’t know what she wants. An incident at work has her literally falling into the arms of the hero of the hour Dominic, but their initial meeting ends in disaster for Aleena when she loses her job despite Dominics intervention.
Jobless and running out of funds Aleena needs a job... and quick. Then a surprise meeting with her Prince Charming opens up an opportunity of a lifetime. When she gets offered a job working for the Winter Corporation she never in her wildest dreams imagined that a simple proposition could lead not only to the job of a lifetime but also a whole new sensual experience that could lead to the love of her life.
It’s not going to be easy though... and the world of socialites, high society and money is destined to try and come between them. Aleena’s hang ups and insecurities lead to tension and difficulties that often leave this couple at loggerheads.
The sexual chemistry between this couple is so palpable. It’s electrifying and mesmerising and even though my head hurts from all the ups and downs, I am willing this couple to be together. Dominic is so damaged that he feels unworthy of being loved... but it doesn’t stop Aleena trying to make him realise that he does deserve to be loved and she’s the one to do it.
There are points in this where my stomach dropped, thinking “oh no, here we go again” but it’s the ultimate story of trust, devotion and forgiveness.
Am I totally and utterly in love with Dominic?... hell yes! He’s all alpha male and exudes sex appeal and broodiness... but it’s the softer and vulnerable side of him that makes him so deliciously desirable.
I also love Aleena though. She’s level headed and down to earth which really helps to grounded. She dealt with adversity all her life, but the challenges thrown at her by the high social climbers and old-money stalwarts are hard for her overcome at first, but with Dominic by her side, championing her every step of the way, her confidence builds; as does their love for each other.
Loved it... and can’t wait to continue their story in Craving HIM. Just hoping that they manage to keep overcoming every barrier thrown their way because I love this couple.
Aleena Davison never really fit in at her home in Iowa and always dreamed of moving to New York. Now that she is finally where she wants to be, she is still missing something. Now without a job thanks to a jerk for a boss and a roommate from hell, Aleena is determined to keep her New York dreams alive. The mysterious hot customer who tried to help save her job is back again but what they both don’t know is the only job she is able to get from Winter Enterprises is the one they both don’t know if they can handle it. Will Aleena be able to keep this professional or will the chemistry these two felt explode leaving them questioning everything?
I was given a copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review.
Aleena is a woman who is still trying to find herself, which is why she moved to New York, but what she’s hoped to find hasn’t come up yet. Aleena does come off as a strong-willed independent woman but she knows that she still needs to work on a few things to be the person she wants to be. Dealing with a boss who wants to sleep with her and a roommate who only wants your rent cheque wears her down. After losing her job, Aleena does what she can but not much seems to happen until she runs into Dominic Snow, the hot stranger who tried to help her.
Dominic Snow has decided that there is no chance he’ll ever be in a relationship again but after bumping into the Aleena and trying to help her, he’s feeling things he doesn’t understand. No woman has ever affect him this way before. Dominic is used to being in control and having is submissive do as his desire but his desire for Aleena has put a damper on his Dom ways.
This is the first of a series of novella that MS Parker has collaborated with Cassie Wild and they are off to an amazing start. Aleena is a woman we all can relate to as she has taken the step to follow her dreams. Leaving a small town and her family shows the strength it takes to be able to follow your dreams. Yes, Aleena felt like she never fit in there but what stay at a place you don’t feel welcomed in. New York is big and people aren’t the same but it’s a big step. Aleena deals with a crappy boss like some of us do and a bad roommate but life isn’t a hearts and flowers. This was portrayed as I would think life in Manhattan would be like. Dominic is all Alpha male. He runs a successful company and is about to start a new one up. It’s ironic that his new company is a match making service and the man doesn’t date or want to be tried to a woman. He has a kind heart but doesn’t show it until of course he tries to help save Aleena’s job. I think the fact that he went as far as trying to help Aleena get a job shows just how big his heart is. I’m looking forward to finding out what happened to make Dominic close his heart off to any possibility of love. This is just the beginning of the series and I’m already looking forward to reading what is going to happen next for Aleena and Dominic and to see what both M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild has in-store for these two.

Serving Him Vol 2
Life is almost too good to be true for Aleena Davison. She was the personal assistant to her billionaire boss, Dominic Snow. The only problem is as hard as she tries to keep it professional her attraction to him is growing stronger by the day. Things were going according to plan until she stumbles into his private area and finds out more about her boss than she bargained for.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. Both Cassie Wild and M.S. Parker writing calibration just keeps getting hotter with every volume.
Aleena is used to being in the shadows or picked on which has only helped her handle the job as Personal Assistant (PA) to Dominic. The man is running hot and cold while she is learning the job before Fawna, his current PA is ready to leave. The attraction she has for him is hard to deny but Aleena has done everything she can to keep it professional. There are times when she finds herself unable to look him in the eyes. It only gets worse when they go to his house in the Hamptons and she finds herself in his private area of the house. What she sees shocks her, yet unable to look away. This makes working with him harder than before, as she can’t get the images out of her head.
Dominic Snow is growing more frustrated as he spends more time with Aleena. He hadn’t planned on having her work for him but he must admit that she is excelling at the job. The problem is his attraction to Aleena isn’t going away but intensifying. He wants her more than anything and the submissives he’s with aren’t helping him get over his desires for Aleena no matter how hard he tries.
This is the second volume in the Serving him series and it’s getting hotter by the minute. Aleena is loving her job and working for Dominic isn’t bad but the attraction is getting harder for her to ignore. Following sounds that Aleena couldn’t figure out she stumbles on to the part of Dominic’s life she had nothing to do with. Not only was she surprised on his taste during sex but she wanted to be the one who he was doing that with. The way Dominic dominated the woman in his room was something she never really understood except that her body reacted leaving her questioning what she knows.
There no doubt that both Dominic and Aleena are attracted to each other. When they finally get to the point where they have to deal with this attraction, passions explode and lines are crossed more than once leaving the question of whether it was a good idea to give in. M.S Parker and Cassie Wild have done a brilliant job at giving their readers a fun, sexy story that you can’t put down. Just like any five part series we are left with a cliff-hanger, wondering is going to happen next. If you’re looking for a steamy, sexy and intense romantic series then look no further!

Serving Him Vol 3
Aleena may be used to people making judgements about her because if her biracial heritage but the fact that Dominic didn’t defend her is what hurt more. Will they be able to fix what has been damaged or will this be what ends their time together.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
Aleena prides herself as being an intelligent strong woman but every time she runs into people who think they are better than her because of class or colour her self-esteem takes a hit. She loves her job more than she expected to and she excels at it. The one thing Aleena knows is that her dream job can be taken away in an instant but what’s worse it she could lose Dominic. She has tried not to let her feelings for the man go far but no matter how hard she tries, she knows she’s falling for him.
Dominic is a man who knows what he wants and knows how it get it. It’s never been hard for him as his alpha and Dom sides attracts woman with similar tastes. The problem is Aleena, as innocent as she is, she has gotten under his skin. He knows he screwed up by not putting his mother in his place and the moment Aleena walked out he knew it would take more than just a simple sorry to get her back.
This is the third in the Serving Him series and it hotter than the first two. Aleena goes to her friend Molly for a break from Dominic’s life and Dominic himself. Feeling hurt by what happened she talks to Molly but not right away. You really can’t blame her considering how she was treated by Dominic’s mother. Aleena finally let a man in and trusted him to teach her but Dominic screwed up big time. There is always consequences to actions and Dominic finds this out when he can’t find Aleena or has anyway to contact her, which leaves him to worry about her. After some time away she finally goes back to the apartment to find he isn’t there but out at the house in the Hamptons looking for her. Dominic does care about her but since we have been given hints as to what he went through when he was younger, we know that he hasn’t had a real relationship so he doesn’t have any idea of what to do.
The book has a few ups and downs along with a new character introduced, whom only creates more trouble to this pair. These ups and downs lead to one hot night where things explode for Dominic and Aleena. Cassie Wild and M. S. Parker leave the readers fanning themselves after that one very hot and naughty night for Dominic and Aleena. Like every great series there has to be a cliff-hanger and I can’t wait to see what Aleena does in the next volume in this series.

Serving Him Vol 4
Aleena was losing control of herself. The new experiences Dominic has shown her and trying to fit into his world were slowly becoming more than she knew was possible. No matter what she found herself wanting more when it came to Dominic but is Dominic ready to be everything Aleena needs?
I was given this in exchange for an honest review. The collaboration between M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild just keeps getting better with every volume they put out.
Aleena shows that she has trust in Dominic but when it comes to Penelope, her insecurities show through and the trust level drops. This is what Aleena is trying to work on but at every turn Penelope is there to show her where she fits in their world.
Dominic knows what he wants and that is Aleena, not only her submission in the bedroom but her vibrancy for life. She is the light to him in his dark world. Keeping her trust is another issue that he has to deal with since Penelope and his mother both make it hard for Aleena to believe in him. I love how M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild have both Aleena and Dominic’s point of view throughout the book. Knowing what both of them think pulled me in especially when we finally got to find out what Dominic went through as a teenager. This is a great series and I’m counting down the days until the next volume comes out.

Serving Him Vol 5
Now that Aleena has said those three words she is finding herself falling deeper in love with Dominic but no matter how hard she tries to bury her insecurities they keep coming to the surface thanks to Penelope and her relentless pursuit for Dominic. Will Aleena finally get past everything or will Penelope finally get what she wants?
I was given this in exchange for an honest review. Just when you think you have things figured out, M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild throw a twist at you, leaving you questioning what is going to happen next.
Aleena may be strong young independent woman but like everyone she too has some insecurities that just never go away. She is usually finding herself wondering why Dominic wants her when she doesn’t fit into his world but then she realizes that he too doesn’t really fit there either. No matter how hard she tries, Aleena can’t help but fall harder for Dominic.
Dominic isn’t use to having a woman get under his skin but Aleena not only has done that but she has him thinking of things like love and commitment which he never thought he’d even have in his life. Now that Aleena is with him, he finds himself happier than he’s been in a long time. She is his light and he isn’t willing to give that up just yet.
This volume of Serving Him has Penelope playing a bigger role in which her obsession to be with Dominic gets out of hand causing problems for the happy couple. What’s more, this is a test to what Dominic and Aleena truly are to each other. I love the turn this part of the story takes and how both Dominic and Aleena both have to get out of their comfort zone to make things work. The new twist at the end of this volume that has occupied Dominic’s mind left us reading what in going to happen next and I’m sure this will all explode into one amazing for the series I can’t wait to read.

Just when things start getting back on track for Aleena and her ruggedly handsome boss outside the bedroom, Dominic lets Aleena in on the fact that he’s digging into his past. Will the secrets he finds make him recoil into himself again or will they finally help him heal?
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review and boy was this an amazing ending as it was just the beginning of the collaboration for MS Parker and Cassie Wild.
Aleena and Dominic have had a lot to deal with like any couple but with a past like Dominic it adds to their challenges they face together. This is the sixth and final part of Aleena and Dominic’s story. Aleena and Dominic have been through so much. But with him digging in his past to find the truth how much more are they going to have to deal with. Will the truth be enough? All the pain and rage for the acts of the past could be cleared up with one person. Is that person willing to give Dominic the answers he needs? Will he find his birthmother? Will the sins of the past be cleared up enough for Dominic to be able to move on with his life? Will Dominic shut out Aleena or will this be when he needs and loves her more than ever before?
I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. The ending was a little rushed. I hope we get more from this couple at a later time.
Grammatical mistakes aside, which normally irritate me as they pull me out of the story, this book was incredible! It took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as I felt every bump in the road on Dominic and Aleena's journey to love. At times I wanted to give up on them, frustrated at their immaturity. In the beginning, they clearly didn't have the emotional maturity to be in a relationship and I didn't feel like rooting for them because their relationship was passive aggressive and at times, bordered on being toxic. But knowing they neither one had any experience with relationships or love, I cut them some slack and hung in there. They blindly stumbled through their growing pains and slowly began to figure out how to communicate and function like partners in a relationship, and the end result was powerful and a thing of beauty. Anyone would be so lucky to have a partner so devoted to them as Dominic and Aleena were to each other. I can't wait to read the follow up book!
So this series had so much potential. I loved the main story of finding truth behind Dominics parents and what happened with him. It was actually so good, also the kinky relationship and all how it grew also their own drama was fine, although I hate this misunderstanding drama but hey it was still fine. What made me rolling my eyes was the racism thing which is I believe still a huge thing in America, totally getting it but it rolled around a lot and it got annoying. Secondly, OW drama was so ugh stupid! It was literally so so stupid, I just without reading started to skim on, it felt so out of place. This book itself was good and would have made it without this drama. Also that sexual harrasment, okay totally got that one guy but already calling a man a sleazy when he looks at boobs on a dress what shows boobs. I am sorry but if a man wears tights I sure as hell look I mean cmon :D So weird but I guess that's me.

I liked this set a lot. The couple really fit well together. I love the lead female character being biracial which shows the authors respect for the multi cultural community that we live in. From a writing standpoint it was a great idea to make her half black and him white. Her male lead character was seriously intense and this makes the book a page turner. He was also plagued by personal demons which gives him depth. He wasn’t just rich rich and kinky, which I love. He wasn’t just looking for sex but wanted a woman that fit and would love him through his pain. It is really worth buying. I read this one through kindle unlimited but I would pay money for this one. Also the book set Casual Encounter was great too. I’m moving on to The Billionaires Mistress as we speak.
These set of books 're amazing so many twist and turns. It show how people in different circles great others in different circle in the books you learn that love. An happen in any of the circle when they mix together. A man strong and hurt and that doesn't understand love as he has never been shown falls to someone outside his social circle and she know what everyone thinks of her as she is biracial and stands up for herself and he loves that about her he finds love and his real birth mother. Can't wait to read the next box set
Fifty Shades get out of the way because this one is...
Hot is mild for this awesome story. It talks about the dark side of adoption and high society in general. It’s a beautiful love story with wonderful characters and incredible ending... Actually I’m looking forward to reading the next book which I would say tell me more of the story. I love this kind of story. I found it interesting and more entertaining. Food for thought...
This book is about sex, control, power and pedigree.
Aleena and Dominic are from two very different worlds. She’s from a small town Iowa and he’s from a very rich family in New York. Aleena takes on the job as Dominic’s personal assistant. At first their relationship is purely business but after a while they are not able to resist the physical pull they have towards each other.
I enjoyed this box set and can’t wait to start reading the next one to find out what happens to them.
Male narrator for a female POV is confusing. I would understand if the male narrator read both the female and male parts but considering that they got a different male narrator to do the part for the male character, I don’t see the point. I still prefer the female narrator for a female character. Sorry not sorry. Being adopted is no excuse for being an asshole. Trust is earned; not imposed. Ending feels rushed. A poorer version of Fifty Shades of Grey. I still prefer FSG.

Amazing!!! Loved the way the story read. Very believable and seemed to have a natural flow to it. Everything about this book captured your attention; from the characters to the scene descriptions, perfect! Again a great story weaved with vibrant sex scenes! Couldn't put it down took less than a week to read the series. Fell in total love with the characters, please bring them back! Reading Lust now, so different but still just as riveting!
A little too much Fifty Shades, but the stolen baby ring was an interesting twist. Personally, I could have done without the BLM undertones. ... And again, NOT my idea of a boxset. Each 'book' was more like a chapter of the same book.
I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription (free book but I have to pay £7.99 a month for the subscription)
Whoa! This is one steamy hot series. That I really enjoyed. Loved the characters and storyline. There is one twist I would never have guessed! Curious about that twist. This series left me wondering. BUT there is another series Craving HIM in which the same characters return. So maybe I'll get my answers. Looking forward to the next series!!!!!!
Wow Dominic is such a complex and slightly damaged character based on the trauma he suffered as a child but also his lack of relationship with his adopted father. I loved Dominic & Aleena’s growing relationship and the slow give in total control he needs to have. Good storyline and I really liked Fawna she was a lovely grounded character in Dominic’s life.
Not exactly sure why this was broke up into so many short stories instead of one. The way that Domonic had the dominant streak in him really showed. Aleena seemed to be walked over quite a bit and pushed aside by Dominic throughout this. Thought they might seem to be a little more equal in the relationship outside the bedroom.
DNF. I made it a little more than half way through through the books before scrapping the ‘series’ (I’m using that word lightly). This just hit too many of my pet peeves. I hate hot/cold, love/hate drama. I was super tired of being beat over the head with the racism crap. And to top it all off, I didn’t feel the chemistry.
Loved Dominic and Aleena’s story so far . This is a well written but very long story which still has 350 pages in another book to go or more guess find out after reading the 350. I usually don’t read long books like this once started could not stop. Worth talking up so many hours for❤️
This was a much appreciated and refreshing take on an IR romance. I absolutely loved Dominique's and Aleena's story. It is full of surprises that left me wanting more. The characters were well written. I will most certainly be reading more this author's work in the future.
I liked HIM but it was boring towards the end. I was not going to buy another series just to finish off this tale. I do not like that about this author. You think you are buying a book, but no, it keeps going and you have to buy more and more. I will not purchase another.
I enjoyed this book and if you are into BDSM books I would suggest this one. I'd have to say tho, if we girl's could have orgasms as easily as the female character does, we'd all be happy campers and probably less catty with each other! LOL!!
Excellent book. One of those books I couldn't put down. I read several stories at one time but left all others alone to read this one. Thoroughly kept me in suspense. Ten 🌟stars or more if they'd let me give them!
Really good storyline which moved along fast yet with very realistically dialogue and very hot BDSM sex scenes. No cheating. Dual point of view. This book (1-6) ends with a HEA however the story does continue in Craving Him which is Book 7.
First book well series to be read by M.S Parker and Cassie Wild. Sex, Power, Control. I loved that it was an interracial couple, both people with major insecurities finding peace with each other. I love this series
I really enjoyed this book, this couple and everything in between. Thank you for adding color to this genre. It was well written and you did your research very well. Thank you for making the main female character strong. She is the queen in his life.
A lesson in self respect, and demanding respect from those who believe they are better than you due to statues, wealth, race. Some people have more or better manners but no one is better than anyone else.
