Multiple award-winning author and game designer, Patrick Matthews creates exciting stories about worlds both futuristic and fantastic.
Some are filled with dragons and magic. Others dive into dystopian projections of humanity's path ahead.
He believes the best story is one that's fast and fun. It takes us to faraway places, but stays with us long after we're done reading. It leaves us asking questions and looking at our own world with new eyes.
I don't really have a least favorite part, but my least favorite part was the fact that they had to kill all of the dragons by poisoning their magic was the only way to stop the dragons. I was a little bit confused at the part when Al finds the chained dragon who collects all of the magic from the mortals, because I wasn't quite sure what was going on, and everything at the end was going so fast that it was a little bit hard to follow. i wish that Al's friends Trillia and Wisp were in the story a bit more, and Al wasn't alone for most of his adventure, no one coming with for the whole way would have been nice.
